1. Sports Venues in Ancient Times
As early as 3000 BC to 2000 BC, there appeared athletics in religious ceremonies in Crete
Island and Greece of East Mediterranean. A variety of athletics were mentioned many times in the
ancient Greek epics Iliad and Odyssey. As is proved in modern archaeological excavation, in the
first Olympic Games held in Olympia in 776 BC, all the constructions used by ancient Greeks to
do sports and hold sports competitions are related to temples. For example, the famous

athletics stadiums of Olympia, 匹兹亚，伊兹米亚，尼兹米亚 are related to the celebrations in the
temples of Zeus (God of Heaven), Apollo (God of Sun), Poseidon (God of Sea)and Hercules (God
of Strength). In addition to the four athletics stadiums, other stadiums were also found in Greece

旅行社的组织结构设计及其表现形式、旅行社组织演变及其现状；旅行社虚拟经营方法和旅行社企业的制度管理和类别。旅游集团的管理及运作，旅行社经营计划的意义和旅行社经营计划制定的过程。
课堂讲授与课堂讨论结合，多媒体课件和案例分析为辅助。

第一节 旅行社企业的组织设计
组织设计是旅行社企业经营的基础工作，也是旅行社企业管理的一项重要职能。一方面，组织表现为一定的形式，即为实现企业既定目标而合理配置资源；另一方面，它又再现为一定的过程，即合理配置与运用资源，不断协调企业系统内各方面矛盾，以逐步实现既定的目标。由此可见，组织设计为旅行社企业总体战略的制定与实施提供了物质基础和行为框架。
一、旅行社企业的组织结构
组织结构设计，是旅行社企业的一项重要的、基本的组织战略工作，是企业履行其组织职能的基础。旅行社企业的组织结构体现了人们工作中的相互关系，还反映了企业不同层次、不同部门、不同岗位的职责与权利的规定，同时也为各部门、各环节之间的沟通与协作提供了框架。 2 我国旅行社企业的组织结构形式，经历了由简单的、一维的到复杂的、多维的发展过程。
（一）直线制
直线制，顾名思义是按直线垂直领导的组织形式。旅行社企业的命令和信息，是从企业的最高层到最底层垂直下达和传递，各级管理人员集合各种所需的管理职能于一身，统一指挥，兼顾多种业务。直线制的特点是组织结构简单、责权明确、层次分明、互相间的矛盾和摩擦较少，工作效率较高。直线制组织形式比较适合规模较小、业务较简单的旅行社企业。
