教学过程

呈现单元主情境图,请学生观察:Where are our friends? What are they
doing?
T: Look at our friends. Where are they? Oh. They are in a vocational
experience center. And they are experiencing different kinds of jobs
there.
5分钟 呈现与学习 1. 听音排序,整体感知。
请学生观察图片,提问:What do they do?

(听力材料:I am Bill. My friends and I have jobs now. Binbin is a
doctor. He is friendly. Yaoyao is a good nurse. They are in the same
hospital. Lily is a bus driver. Joy is a police officer. She is cool.
Jake is a worker, and he works hard. Mike is a taxi driver and Andy
is a farmer. I am a cook. I like eating delicious food. We all like
our jobs now.)
3. 跟读单词,自主学习。
T: Do you still remember our friends’ jobs? Now let’s listen and
repeat together.
播放单词跟读视频,学生跟读模仿。
4. 教师讲解,学习职业词汇。
教师出示词卡,讲授并带读职业词汇,渗透发音规律,如:ar, er, or等字母组合的发音,引导学生根据发音规律识记单词的发音。

What does Binbin do? Binbin is a doctor. Or make /er/ sound in
doctor.
(2) Nurse
Is Yaoyao a doctor? No. Yaoyao is a nurse. Ur make /er/ sound in
nurse.
Where do doctors and nurses work? Yes. They work in hospitals.
(3) Driver
What does Mike do? He is a driver. He drives a taxi, so he is a
taxi driver.
How about Lily? What does she drive? She drives a bus. She is a
bus driver.
(4) Worker
Is he a driver? No. he is a worker. Or and er both make /er/ sound
in worker.
There are many kinds of workers. What kind of worker is he? He is
a construction worker. He can make buildings.
(5) Farmer
What does Andy do? He is a farmer. Ar make /ar/ sound and er make
/er/sound in farmer. A farmer works on the farm and grows food for
people.
(6) Farmer
Is Joy a farmer? No. she is a police officer. She is so cool.
(7) Cook
What does Bill do? Yes. He is a cook.

T: First, let’s watch a video about the jobs people do, please pay
attention to their specific work.

2. 提取职业工作内容,感悟职业作用与价值
T: People do different jobs to help us and make our lives better.
What do they do?
(1) Doctors and nurses
T: Doctors and nurses work in the hospital. They wear uniforms when
they are at work. They work hard to help sick people get well.
(2) Drivers

T: There are many kinds of drivers. A bus driver, a taxi driver, a
subway driver, and a train driver. Drivers can take people to the
places they want to go.
(3) Firefighters and Police Officers
T: Look. There is a fire. Who can come to help? Yes, firefighters.
Firefighters fight fires, they can also rescue people.
Police officers do a lot of things to keep people safe. When you are
in danger, you can call 110, and police officers will come to help.
(4) Construction Workers
T: Construction workers work in the open air. They make buildings.
They are hardworking. They make the city more beautiful.
(5) Cooks
T: Cooks work in restaurants. They wear uniforms when they are at
work. They make delicious food for people.
(6) Farmers
T: Farmers work on the farm. They grow crops. They also raise animals.

3分钟 操练与巩固 1. 转盘游戏
展示大转盘,学生2人一组。一人转动转盘,根据职业的具体工作内容进行提问,另一人回答对应的职业。
例1:
学生A: Who takes people from one place to another?
学生B: Drivers take people from one place to another.
例2:
学生A: Who helps sick people get well?
学生B: Doctors and Nurses help sick people get well.
例3:
学生A: Who work to keep people safe?
学生B: Police officers and firefighters work to keep people safe.
2. 致谢劳动者
T: Boys and girls, people do different kinds of jobs, and all of them
are very hardworking. Now, let’s say Thank you to them.
