第六课时lesson6 Things for School单元目标教学过程环节1 新课导入教师展示一张文具店的图片,提出问题,学生思考并口头回答:(1)If you make a shopping list, what do you want to buy? (2)What do you think of your new friends? (3)Do you like your new friends?设计意图:通过提问,引发学生思考,运用所学的知识进行回答,帮助他们回顾之前几个课时的内容。
环节2 学习活动1.听录音,思考并口头回答以下问题:(1)Does Danny have new friends this year?(2)What does Danny think of these new friends?2.教师教读课文内容,讲解课文,主要分析单词、短语、重点句子以及邮件的格式等。
3.听录音,完成练习题1 ,把内容补充完整。
再听一遍,然后订正答案。
4.学生熟读邮件,把握主要信息。
完成练习题2,回答问题,答案写在书上对应的位置。
5.教师请三名学生起来回答,然后订正答案。
6.学生四人为一组,编写一封邮件:假设自己要为买一些学习用品,列一个清单,然后和小组成员一起讨论写的内容。
7.请几名学生起来读出他们写的邮件内容。
再请几名学生指出这几名同学写得好的地方以及不足之处。
8.学生和同桌合作,完成练习题3 。
根据图片和单词中的字母提示,把单词补充完整。

(1)What about your new school?英语中“What about...?”是一句常用的提问方式,相当于“How about...”,意思是“……怎么样?”,about 是介词,后面常接动名词doing。
例:What/How about playing sports? 做运动怎么样?How about your mother? 你的妈妈怎么样?(2)I need to buy some things for my classes.need作实义动词时,意为“需要”。
