人教版高中必修4 Unit 2 Working the land 阅读课教学设计从学生的学习兴趣和认知水平出发,倡导学生参与、合作与交流的学习方式。
在课堂教学设计上通过多个任务的完成,促进学生运用所学的英语获取信息、处理信息,并使用信息与人交流、合作,一起发现、解决问题,培养其合作精神,从而更好地发展学生英语语言的综合运用能力。
二、教材分析本节课介绍中国著名农业科学家袁隆平和他的成就。
第一段通过对其外貌的描写,刻画了一个普通中国农民的形象,然后介绍了他的科研成果——超级杂交水稻。
第二段介绍出生、学业和科研情况。
第三段勾勒出他不图名利、无私奉献的高尚品质。
最后一段介绍了袁隆平的梦想。
本文塑造了一个朴实、务实的中国农业科学家的形象。
对于本堂课,笔者主要把它分为三个部分:1.Warming up:由一系列图片和问题对学生进行课前热身,最终引出本堂课的主题人物——袁隆平。
2.Reading:通过快速阅读和精读让学生掌握文章主要内容和具体细节。
3.Post-reading:通过两个任务的完成让学生对本堂课所学内容进行巩固,并进行信息渗透。
与初中描写人物的文章相比,本课一个比较大的区别在于更加注重学生获取、处理信息的能力,文中各自然段并没有提供明显的中心句,要求学生能从中获取信息并进行自我归纳,而且在课后问题处理上比初中课文更有深度,要求学生具备处理文章信息并解决问题的能力。
三、学情分析本课内容与农业有关,但是现在的学生对农业真正了解的不多。
所以在课堂问题设计尽量避免用wh-类需要具体陈述的问题,可用图、表之类的形式来提供信息。
在课堂过程中,要完成部分归纳性或者总结性任务的时候,部分学生会有困难。
因为很多学生的学习方法还是比较机械,不会很好地运用自己的语言来表达,只会机械地照着课文读。
这就更加需要教师组织学生在小组内交流、合作,借鉴别人的方法,最终完成任务。
四、教学目标*通过学习,掌握下列单词、短语:sunburnt, super hybrid rice, struggle, output, expand, circulate, rid...of…, be satisfied with, equip, freedom, w ould rather, violin, motorcycle, grain, export;*学生能够进行快速阅读和细读;*学生能归纳出袁隆平的人物性格和特征;*学生能够了解袁隆平以及他的成就,并学习他的高尚品质;*通过小组合作学习,学生能与他人合作学习。

2. 跟读与限时阅读完成导学案练习贯彻目的与困难策略,指导学生根据不同的阅读目的,在阅读的不同阶段,灵活使用各种阅读策略,捕捉文章主要信息,理解作者的写作意图,突破本文的教学重点与难点。
采用整体语言教学法和任务型语言教学法。
1)、通过限时阅读训练,引导学生如何利用略读(skimming)的方法把握文章的大意,侧重培养快速阅读理解能力和文章中心把握能力。
2)、精读各个段落语段,侧重培养快速捕捉文章重要细节的能力和猜测生词的能力,学会欣赏文章中的优美句子。
3:阅读过程--浅层次阅读。
(Reading I)1). 其中关于人物的基本信息中,通过设计了一个信息表格的浅层次阅读练习,对文中人物有了初步了解。
