在汉语中,语气是由说话人说话的语调、情节等等表现出来的,动词没有任何变化。
而在英语中,除了语调之外,最主要的是动词发生变化而表示不同的语气。
在英语中语气分为三类:陈述语气、祈使语气、虚拟语气。
2.虚拟语气:如果我们所说的不是事实,也不是要求、命令、劝告等,而只是一种假设、愿望、建议是一种实现不了的空想就用虚拟语气。
3.虚拟语气常用在条件句中,及其他一些从句中。
注意:条件句分两种,真实条件句和虚拟条件句。

并选用了前面阅读部分的几个例句和一篇对话帮助学生进行理解。
B部分着重向学生讲解关系代词的使用原则,并以B1作为巩固练习。
B2和B3是对定语从句的全方位的综合练习,分别以连词成句和改错的方式使学生思考并掌握定语从句的构成原则。
定语从句是初中阶段的三大重点从句之一,也是较难掌握的一种从句,教师应以从易到难的思路帮助学生完成定语从句的学习和课内的练习。
1.6 Integrated skills是一节综合技能课。
本课围绕名人这一话题展开听说读写的练
习。
A1是有关信息提炼的练习,要求学生根据一段对Marie Curie的简单介绍,将她的个人信息填出来。
A2是听力练习,学生要根据听力材料捕捉到更多有关Marie Curie的信息。
A3是个写作训练,用A1部分提供的信息把文章补充完整。
B是口语训练,以对一位名人展开讨论为情景,根据课本上的示例,在模仿的基础上进行分组练习,并逐步充实内容,展开更深入的对话。
1.7 Study skills 是一节学习技能课。
本节课旨在让学生了解图书馆图书目录顺序,从而运用相关知识,快捷查找图书资料,搜集信息,提高学习能力。
其实用性强,对培养和提高学生学习能力有很大帮助。
课本列出的四项基本法则是学生重点须掌握的东西。
为了使本节课不至于显得枯燥乏味,可结合杜威十进制图书分类法,开展图书分类竞赛,活跃气氛,寓教于乐。
1.8 Main task是一节写作课,帮助学生了解如何写一篇人物介绍,有助于学生写作能力的提高。
A是写作前的构思,列出一个包含着主要信息的框架。
B是将包含信息的框架进行整理,基本成文。
C要求同学通过A、B两部分的练习,独立写作一篇人物介绍,教师可以提示学生仿照A、B的模式从确定文章框架和信息到分段成文逐步完成是一个不错的选择,当然,水平较高的学生也可以一次性成文,教师可以在写作练习之后选择具有代表性的文章进行公开点评,帮助学生提高写作及鉴赏能力。
1.9 Checkout是本单元的最后一节课,也是一节复习课。
复习本单元所学的定语从句和一些英语谚语。
