我的暑假英语作文(精选8篇)我的暑假英语作文篇一During this summer vacation, I did a lot of meaningful things. For example, learning Peking Opera, I was elected to the elite class of Peking opera during the summer vacation, not to mention how happy I was. Although I have to get up early and take a long bus every day, and I have to practice basic skills hard every day, I enjoy it. In just 16 classes, I learned not only opera gymnastics, but also many basic aria and figure. The teacher said I had made great progress. In the last class, we had a small test. I was afraid of making mistakes. Finally, I asked the teacher, "teacher, teacher, how are my grades?" "I can't tell you this. Don't worry, your grades are very good!" I was so happy that the big stone in my heart was finally put down.Besides studying Beijing opera, I also read many books. Not only did I buy new books during the summer vacation, but my mother also lent me some books from the school library. Among them, my favorite books are: Uncle Cao Wenxuan's millet, Chinese fairy tales, andlittle Doudou by the window. "Little bean by the window" mainly tells the story of little bean after he moved to the new school Ba Xueyuan. It's very good-looking! Seeing these books is like meeting new friends, opening the door to a new world for me.In the new semester, I will work harder. come on.我的暑假英语作文篇二I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand one things during the vacation. Above all, I wanted to help my mother with housework. I also wished to read many hooks which my teachershad recommended. However, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read, she would sit down beside me ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another, and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading, she would, now then, insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. There’s no place like home!我的暑假英语作文篇三Boys and Girls,I'm Li Hua.I went to Beijing this Summer vacation with my calssmates.Let me tell you something about this trip.In the moring,I got up early and met my classmates outside the suchool. Then we took train to Beijing. The ride took over 3hours.When we got to Beijing, the sun was bright. We visited the Palace Musum,Beijing University and so on.We were happy and exciting. For lunch,we had Beijing Duck.It was really delicious. In the afternoon,we walked around some Beijing hutongs. What an excellent day!我的暑假生活英语作文范文篇四Whenever the summer vacation comes, I will be very happy. Thinking of two months without classes is simply the best time of the year. The days passed day by day, and the summer vacation finally came!My mother sent me to learn swimming. As soon as we entered the swimming pool, we saw many adults and children, men and women, swimming and playing in the swimming pool. It was very lively. Icouldn't wait to jump into the swimming pool immediately, but Icouldn't! I can't swim. It's dangerous. I'll drown. Mother watched me learn swimming from the coach. I have to go many times to learn to swim. Learn to hold your breath and dive for the first time. I jumped into the swimming pool, and the water went into my nostrils. My nose was sour and I was a little afraid. The coach said: you can learn to swim even if you are afraid of water. I summoned up my courage, closed my head and dived into the water. In this way, I would dive many times. The second time I learned to draw water and clip water, I practiced again and again, and finally with the help of the coach, I learned to draw water and clip water. The third time I learned breaststroke, I swam in the water like a frog, but I couldn't breathe, so I could only swim with my breath closed, and I couldn't swim far. The fourth time I learned to breathe, I stood in the water first, took a breath on the water, dived my head into the water and exhaled, but it was difficult to breathe while swimming. I didn't learn to breathe this time, and I must learn next time. I kept practicing and made great progress. Now that school has begun, I still miss everything about FoGuangShan summer camp, because it is the most unforgettable memory!我的暑假英语作文篇五My Summer Holiday I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during my summer vacation. They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily.Summer view of the countryside is very beautiful. I can do many interesting things there.I am used to getting up early in the morning breathing the fresh air, listening to the birds singing and enjoying the green trees redflowers and the river.I like fishing with my friends. When night comes I sit under the tree with my grandma listening to her telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. When I have to go backI am always reluctant to go. I really feel happy living in the country.我的暑假英语作文篇六Summer vacation came to my hometown so many days, I left many memories. Among them, the most interesting is to play the game of "cat and mouse"!When we came to the open space, there were 20 of us. Five boys were rats, four other girls and I were cats, and the other students held hands and formed a circle to make mouse holes. The game began. I hid outside the hole and stared at the mouse hole. Thought, "damn mouse, no matter how cunning you are, you will catch you!" I saw the mice in the hole, looking east and West, cat waist, head and brain, thinking about how to go out to find food to eat. However, they turned left and right, but they didn't dare to go out of the hole, which made my legs ache. I straightened up, crossed my waist and shouted at the mouse, "bad mouse, come out!" The mouse didn't listen to me, but tilted its head and frowned at me. It made everyone laugh.Just when I was in a dilemma. My companion smiled at me, and I suddenly remembered his words, yes! If I want to be a clever cat, I have to use my brain to find a way.So I hid outside the cave again, turned my back, squatted down and pretended to tie my shoes, but my eyes were always staring at thecave. At this time, sure enough, a mouse was fooled. He leaned out his head, took a look, and jumped out of the hole. I immediately jumped up, rushed over, and grabbed the corner of his clothes. The mouse struggled hard. I just didn't let go, so he had to be a prisoner obediently. Our wonderful performance won everyone a round of applause. My companion said I was smart and brave, and I was a good cat. I giggled awkwardly. The game is over, I think: no matter what you do, you must use your brain to do things well.我的暑假生活英语作文范文篇七I had the most fun this holiday, because I spent it at my grandmother's house. The weather was very dry and hot, and the sun baked the earth like a fireball. My sister and I took the fish basket and walked towards the river, talking and laughing. We found a cool place to stop, the wind gently blowing on my face, I feel very comfortable. Because her sister often came to the river to fish, her action was very agile, and she hooked the bait at once. I saw my sister holding the rod in her right hand and holding the bait in her left hand. With a gentle swing, the bait sank into the water, and only the float floated on the water. My sister held the fishing rod and stared at the float. After a while, the float began to shake. Slowly, the float shook more and more severely. Suddenly, the whole float was dragged into the water. My sisterlifted the pole hard, yo, what a big carp!I rushed to help, caught the fish with both hands and put it into the fish basket."The fish here is so easy to fish, let me try!" With that, Icouldn't wait to grab the fishing rod from my sister, let her help me hang the bait, and began to fish. I patiently observed the ripple changes of the river, waiting for the fish to bite. Before long, the float shook, and the fishing rod seemed to be dragged away by someone's hand. I seized the opportunity and vigorously lifted the fishing rod. Hey, I also caught a fat carp! I was so happy that I jumped three feet high.。

五一小学五年级下册英语作文第三单元全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Amazing May Day HolidayThis May Day holiday was the best one yet! I had such an incredible time with my family doing all sorts of fun activities. I can't wait to tell you all about it.It all started on the morning of April 29th. I woke up feeling so excited because I knew the next day was the start of our week-long May Day break from school. Mom made us a huge breakfast with fried dough sticks, eggs, and fresh fruit. My little brother Xiao Ming and I could barely eat we were so anxious for our holiday to begin! After breakfast, we quickly finished our chores and packed our bags. We were going on a mini road trip for the first few days of the holiday! Dad loaded up the car while mom made sure we had all the snacks and games we needed for the drive. Finally, we were ready to go.Our first stop was my grandparents' house a few hours away in the countryside. As soon as we arrived, the sweet smell of grandma's cooking filled the air. She had made so many delicious dishes like braised pork belly, stir-fried greens, and fluffy steamed buns. We all dug in hungrily. Grandpa told us funny stories from when he was a kid which had us laughing with our mouths full of food. After lunch, Xiao Ming and I begged grandpa to take us on a walk around their village. He showed us the small pond where he used to catch tiny fish and tadpoles when he was our age. We looked at the ducks splashing around and tried to skip rocks across the water's surface. Grandma packed us a little snack of peanuts and fresh cherries from their tree which we munched on happily as we explored. We stayed over at grandma and grandpa's house that night. The next morning, mom and dad surprised us - we were going camping for two nights at a national forest park! I was so thrilled because I love being outdoors in nature. We stopped at a market on the way to buy all the supplies we would need like a tent, sleeping bags, camp stove, and lots of fun snacks. When we arrived at the park, dad worked hard to set up our tent and camp area while Xiao Ming and I went on a short hikewith mom. We saw so many amazing things - tall trees, bright wildflowers, flitting butterflies, and a family of deer drinking from a stream. That night after a campfire dinner of grilled fish and roasted veggies, we roasted marshmallows for s'mores and stared up at the starry night sky. It felt magical. The next day was an adventure-filled one at the park. First, we rented a little boat and spent a couple hours out on the glittering lake, taking in the fresh air and trying to catch fish (we didn't catch any though). After a picnic lunch, mom and dad took us on a longer hike up a mountain trail. My legs were so tired by the end but the incredible view from the peak was entirely worth it! We could see for miles in every direction. I felt like I was on top of the world up there. All too soon, it was our last day of camping. After packing up our tent and supplies, we stopped at the park's petting zoo on our way out. We fed carrot pieces to the friendly rabbits and goats. Xiao Ming and I both got to ride on the backs of the dozy old donkeys. We hugged the zoo's sweet sheepdog pup before finally leaving for home that evening. The last couple days of our holiday were spent back in our city, but we still managed to have loads of fun! One day we went to a hands-on science museum downtown and experimentedwith things like building circuits, making silly putty, and learning about how planes fly. Another day we visited the aviary and saw hundreds of brightly colored birds ranging from tall flamingos to tiny hummingbirds. My personal favorite was watching the cheeky lorikeets land right on people's arms to drink the nectar cups they were holding. On our final day, the whole family went to an amusement park which was a total blast. We went on so many thrilling rides - a huge looping rollercoaster that made my stomach drop, spinning teacups that whirled us around and around, and a fun house with all sorts of wacky mirrors and篇2My Exciting Summer VacationLast summer, my family and I went on an amazing vacation to a place I had never been before – the beach! I had always heard about how much fun the beach was, but I never imagined how incredible it would be until I experienced it for myself. It all started a few weeks before school ended. My parents sat me and my little brother down and told us that we were going to spend two weeks at a beach resort. I was so excited that I could hardly sit still! I had seen pictures of beaches in mytextbooks and on TV, but the real thing was going to be even better. The day finally came when we piled into the car and started our journey. It seemed to take forever to get there, but when we finally arrived, it was worth the wait. As soon as we stepped out of the car, I could smell the salty air and hear the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before. Our hotel room was right on the beach, so we could see the ocean from our window. I couldn't wait to get out there and feel the sand between my toes. My parents said we had to unpack first, but as soon as we were done, we hurried down to the beach. The first thing I noticed was how big the ocean was. It seemed to stretch on forever, and the waves were so much bigger than I had imagined. My little brother was a bit scared at first, but I convinced him to come into the water with me. The water was cool and refreshing, and we had so much fun splashing around and jumping over the waves. In the evenings, we would walk along the beach and look for seashells. I found so many beautiful ones, and I even found a few sand dollars, which I had never seen before. We would also buildsandcastles and have contests to see who could build the tallest one.One day, we went on a boat tour to see some nearby islands. It was so cool to see the ocean from a different perspective. We even saw some dolphins swimming alongside the boat! Another day, we went snorkeling and got to see all kinds of colorful fish and coral reefs. It was like being in a whole different world underwater. But my favorite thing about the beach was just relaxing and soaking up the sun. My parents would set up beach chairs and umbrellas, and we would spend hours reading books, playing games, and just enjoying the sounds of the waves and the ocean breeze. Before we knew it, our two weeks were up, and it was time to head home. I was so sad to leave the beach behind, but I knew I would always have the memories of our amazing vacation. On the drive home, I kept looking at all the seashells and sand dollars I had collected, and I couldn't wait to show them to my friends and tell them all about our adventures. Now that I'm back in school, I can't help but daydream about the beach sometimes. I can't wait until our next vacation when we can go back and make even more wonderful memories. Untilthen, I'll just have to settle for looking at my seashell collection and dreaming of the day when I can feel the sand between my toes again.篇3My Favorite SportsHey there! It's me again, your friend and classmate. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite sports. In our English textbook Unit 3, we learned vocabulary related to sports and exercising. It was a really fun unit! One of my absolute favorite sports is basketball. I've been playing basketball since I was very little. My dad is a huge basketball fan and he taught me how to dribble, pass and shoot when I was just 5 years old. We have a hoop set up in our driveway and we play constantly during the summer and after school when it's not too cold out. What I love most about basketball is that it combines athleticism, strategy, and teamwork. To be good, you have to be able to run fast, jump high, and have great hand-eye coordination. But you also need to be smart and think several moves ahead, just like in chess. And of course, you need amazing teamwork to succeed. Everyone has to work together, passingthe ball and setting screens for each other. It's an incredible feeling when you make a perfect pass to a teammate for an easy basket! My favorite professional basketball team is the Los Angeles Lakers. I'm a huge Kobe Bryant fan - he was so talented and hardworking. I try to model my work ethic after his famous "Mamba Mentality." I watch Lakers games whenever I can and my dream is to one day attend a game at the Staples Center in LA. Maybe if I keep practicing every day, I can make my school's varsity team when I get to high school. A boy can dream, right?Another sport I absolutely love is swimming. Unlike basketball, swimming is an individual sport where you are totally focused on your own technique and performance. But it's still an incredible workout that works your entire body.I started swimming lessons when I was 6 at our local pool. At first, I was pretty nervous about putting my face in the water and swimming under the surface. But eventually I got the hang of it through lots of practice. Nowadays, I'm a strong swimmer and I can do all the basic strokes like freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. My favorite stroke is definitely the butterfly though - it looks so graceful and powerful when the really elite swimmers do it. Ofcourse, butterfly is also infamous for being one of the most difficult and tiring strokes. Your whole body has to move in a dolphin-kick kind of motion and you really feel it in your core muscles the next day. But man, is it satisfying to nail that stroke!I'm on my school's swim team and we compete against other schools in our district. I love the energy of a swim meet - there's nothing like that tension when you're lined up behind the blocks waiting for the start beep. Then it's an all-out sprint for as long as you can hold your breath underwater. Surfacing and hearing your parents and teammates cheering you on is one of the best feelings.Hopefully I can get my times down enough to make the varsity high school team in a couple years. With lots of hard work, who knows, maybe I can earn an athletic scholarship to a university someday. Wouldn't that be incredible? But for now,I'm just enjoying swimming a few times a week - it's an amazing full-body workout and I always leave the pool feeling refreshed yet exhausted. The last sport I want to talk about is soccer. I know, I know, it's not nearly as popular over here as basketball and swimming. But soccer is actually the most-played sport in the world! And Ihave to say, I can understand why once you start playing. There's just something pure and elegant about soccer. For me, the beauty of soccer is its simplicity - you don't need any equipment except a ball and some open space to kick it around. Sure, at the higher competitive levels you need goals, cleats, shin guards and the rest. But to just go outside and dribble the ball around and take some shots on goal is incredibly fun. It's the perfect sport for kids to play during recess or just hang out with friends.Soccer takes a lot of endurance since you're basically running around for 90 minutes with just a couple of short breaks. But it's also very strategic in terms of formations, defending, creating scoring opportunities through passing and moving into open space. It's a game of constant motion. My favorite part is putting on those burners and just sprinting up the field as fast as I can, dribbling the ball and making precise touches to keep it under control. Then sending a beautiful cross or taking a shot on goal - watching the keeper's reaction as the ball whizzes past their head into the corner of the net. Pure篇4My Favorite Holiday - Labor DayLabor Day is my favorite holiday of the year! In China, we celebrate it every year on May 1st. It's a national holiday that celebrates the working people and all they do for our country. I love Labor Day because it means no school and lots of fun activities with my family. The night before Labor Day is so exciting. My brother Xiaoming and I can barely sleep because we are looking forward to the holiday so much. We stay up late watching TV and movies. My favorite is watching the Labor Day gala show on CCTV with singers, dancers, and comedy acts. It's always so colorful and lively! On the morning of Labor Day, my mom always makes my favorite breakfast - jianbing from the street vendor down the road. The crispy fried dough with the egg, sauce and crunchy wonton strips is so delicious! After breakfast, we get ready to head out for the day's activities. The parks and tourist spots are always super crowded on Labor Day. Everyone is out celebrating and having fun. Despite the big crowds, I love going because there is such a festive atmosphere. Parents: be careful not to lose your kids in the masses of people! My favorite thing to do is go to the touring lantern exhibits they set up in the big parks. Lanterns of all different shapes, sizes and colors are made - animals, cartoon characters, historical figures and more. They are simply stunning to look at, especially when they light up at night. My little sister Emma always insists on getting her photo taken in front of her favorite lantern.Another fun activity is going to watch the labor day parade. Marching bands, dancers, acrobats, and more put on a big performance through the streets. There are also lots of cool floats made by companies and organizations. Last year the zoo had a float with tropical birds, monkeys and even a mini waterfall on it. So creative! If the weather is nice, my family likes to go on a hike in the nearby mountains. We pack a picnic lunch of my dad's famous dumplings and my aunt's homemade zongzi. Eating outside in nature is so refreshing after being cooped up at school all year. After lunch, we like to fly kites or play badminton in the fields. These active games are fun but also tiring! In the evenings, there are lots of performances and night markets to check out. We might go see a magic show, an acrobatic performance, or watch singers at an outdoor concert. The night markets have all sorts of delicious street foods, toys, and games. I love getting spun sugar candy and winning a goldfish at one of the game booths. One of the best parts of Labor Day is getting along-awaited break from school! No waking up early, no homework, no tests. Just pure fun and relaxation for three whole days. By the end, I'm always a little sad it's over but happy I got to make so many great memories.Overall, Labor Day is awesome! The festive events, yummy food, time with family and no school make it my favorite holiday. Thanks to all the hard workers for giving us this special celebration. I can't wait until next year's Labor Day! What are your favorite parts of the holiday?篇5Title: My Wonderful Summer AdventureSummer vacation is undoubtedly the most exciting time of the year for every student. It's a chance to take a break from the daily routine of school and homework, and embrace the freedom to explore, play, and create unforgettable memories. This past summer, I embarked on an incredible adventure that left a lasting impression on me.It all started when my parents announced that we would be visiting my grandparents in a small village nestled in the heart of the countryside. I was initially hesitant, as I had grown accustomed to the hustle and bustle of city life. However, as we embarked on our journey, the scenery gradually transformed from towering skyscrapers to rolling hills and vast open fields.Upon arriving at my grandparents' quaint cottage, I was immediately enveloped in a warm embrace and greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked bread. My grandmother's kind eyes sparkled with joy as she ushered us inside, eager to share her delectable culinary creations. The first few days were spent exploring the village and its surroundings. I marveled at the simplicity of life, where neighbors greeted each other with friendly waves and children played freely in the streets. It was a stark contrast to thefast-paced urban lifestyle I was accustomed to, and I found myself captivated by the tranquility and serenity that permeated the air.One day, my grandfather suggested we go fishing at the nearby river. Armed with our rods and a basket of snacks, we ventured into the great outdoors. As we sat by the riverside, casting our lines into the gently flowing water, my grandfatherregaled me with tales of his childhood adventures. His stories were filled with wisdom and life lessons, and I found myself hanging on to every word, eager to learn more.Days turned into weeks, and each day brought new discoveries and experiences. I learned how to tend to the vegetable garden, carefully watering the plants and marveling at their growth. I helped my grandmother gather fresh eggs from the chicken coop, and we would spend hours in the kitchen, baking delectable treats that filled the house with mouthwatering aromas. One of the highlights of my summer adventure was the annual village fair. The streets were adorned with colorful banners and festive decorations, and the air was filled with the sounds of laughter and music. I eagerly participated in the various games and activities, relishing the opportunity to make new friends and learn about the rich cultural traditions of the village. As the summer drew to a close, I found myself feeling a bittersweet mixture of joy and sadness. Joy for the precious memories I had created, and sadness at the thought of leaving this idyllic haven behind. On our final evening together, mygrandparents gathered me close and shared their love and wisdom."Remember, my child," my grandmother said, her voice filled with warmth, "true happiness lies in the simple things in life – the beauty of nature, the love of family, and the joy of living in the present moment."My grandfather nodded in agreement, adding, "The city may offer its conveniences, but it is here, in the heart of the countryside, where you will find peace and contentment."As we departed the following morning, I gazed out the car window, watching the rolling hills and lush greenery fade into the distance. I knew that this summer adventure had left an indelible mark on my heart and soul. The lessons I had learned, the memories I had created, and the love I had experienced would forever shape the person I would become. In the years to come, I would often find myself reminiscing about those carefree days spent in the countryside. The sound of the river's gentle flow, the aroma of freshly baked bread, and the warmth of my grandparents' embrace would transport me back to that magical time. And whenever life's challenges seemed overwhelming, I would remember my grandmother's words and find solace in the simple joys that surrounded me.That summer adventure was more than just a vacation – it was a journey of self-discovery, a celebration of family, and a reminder of the beauty that lies in the simplest of moments. It taught me to appreciate the little things in life and to embrace the present with open arms. And for that, I will forever be grateful.篇6My Wonderful May HolidayThe May holiday is one of my favorite times of the year! School is out for a whole week and the weather is perfect for fun outdoor activities. This year, my family and I had some really exciting adventures during the May break. It all started on April 30th, which was the last day of school before the holiday. I was so excited, I could barely focus in class. All I could think about were the great plans my parents had made for us. When the final bell rang, I raced home and started packing right away. My mom had to remind me to slow down and double check that I had everything I needed. The next morning, bright and early, we loaded up the car and hit the road. Our first stop was my grandparents' house out in the country. It's a longish 5 hour drive, but it's so nice once weget there. My grandparents live on a big farm with fields, a little pond, and even a few friendly cows, pigs and chickens. As soon as we arrived, I ran out to the barn to see all the animals. The baby piglets are my favorite - they're so cute and tiny! My grandpa let me feed them and I giggled as they snorted and rooted around eating the slop from the trough. After that, I chased some chickens around the yard trying to pet them. It's not easy to catch those fast little guys! That evening, we had a big family dinner with all my aunts, uncles and cousins. We had all kinds of delicious food like roast chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, fresh bread and salad. For dessert, my grandma made her famous apple pie. I probably ate way too much, but it was just so yummy! The next couple of days on the farm were really fun and relaxing. My cousins and I went exploring in the woods, caught frogs and tadpoles in the pond, and had carnival games set up to play. One afternoon, my uncle took us all on a long hike to one of his favorite scenic spots up in the hills. The views from up there were incredible!Unfortunately, the good times couldn't last forever. After a few days, we had to pack up and leave the farm. My grandparents hugged me extra tight when it was time to go.They always get a little teary when we leave. I promised to be good and study hard so I can come back for another visit soon. From there, we drove to a national park a few hours away to go camping for the last few days of the break. I love camping! Setting up the tent, cooking over the campfire, sleeping under the stars - it's all so much fun. We went on a cool night hike with a park ranger and learned about lots of nocturnal animals. In the day, we swam in the lake, hiked part of the Appalachian Trail, and saw some amazing waterfalls. On our final day of camping, I didn't even want to think about going back home. I loved being out in nature so much. But my dad promised we can go camping again soon over the summer vacation. Just the thought of more adventures has me eagerly counting down the days until school is out again! All too quickly, it was time to leave the park and head for home. The ride back felt so much faster than the ride there. Before I knew it, we were pulling back into our driveway. While I was sad the fun was over, I felt so grateful for the amazing week I just had. We made so many wonderful family memories. Now I'm back at school, rested and recharged from the long break. I've been working really hard on all my assignments, especially English. I have to make sure I keep my grades up somy parents will let me go on more great trips over upcoming holidays and vacations. I'm already dreaming about our next adventure!。

my summer vacation英语作文第一篇:Time flies. My summer vacation is coming to an end.My holidays are general. At the beginning of the holidays, I do my homework. After all, learning is the most important thing. After I finished my homework, it was almost the end of July. It's time to help the family reap the rewards. Farming is so tired. However, as a member of the family, I had to help. Although I've only helped a little bit, I'm proud to see the results. After doing farm work, I found myself getting darker. But who cares? When I finish everything is my happy time. I go out with my friends almost every day. Sometimes we play games or sports or go mountain climbing. Sometimes we go shopping at night because the sun is too strong during the day. We feel uncomfortable. But now there are two days to go before you leave school. So I have to stay at home to learn to be elite. Everything is so beautiful. It's eleven o'clock now. I think it's time to say good night.第二篇This is a good place for everyone to relax during the holidays. Of course I do. Every holiday, I always "work hard and have fun" - first, finish all my homework, and then go on a small trip. My favorite holiday activities are traveling and doing some sports.Travel starts with the fact that travel can open your eyes and make me feel comfortable. As for doing sports, I just don't want to be fat during the holidays. So I always do some sports, such as playing badminton, running, running and so on.In the next holiday, I want to travel around the world, understand the local customs, I can really enjoy the charm of foreign land!第三篇Boys and girls, I am Li Hua, this summer I went to Beijing with the children.Let me tell you something about the trip. In the morning, I got up early and met my classmates outside. Then we went to Beijing by train for 3 hours. When we got to Beijing, the sunwas bright. We visited the Forbidden City, Peking University, etc. We are happy and exciting. At lunch, we were in Duck. It, Beijing. In the afternoon, we went round the hutongs of Beijing. What a beautiful day!第四篇During the summer vacation, I can travel to many places.I like traveling very much. But because I'm busy with my studies, when I'm at school, I don't have time to travel. Summer time gives me time and energy to fulfill my dream. Summer vacation is a good time for me to learn something new. Our students are always stuffed with all kinds of lessons and assignments. I have a lot of interests and I want to learn new things can't learn in class. Because I am free in the summer, I can learn what I want to learn, like swimming, driving, etc. , summer vacation is the most relaxing time black hole. When I was at school, I had a lot of homework to do, and I had little time for any entertainment. But during the summer vacation, I can watch movies, listen to music and read books. I can do whatever I want. It's really great. Therefore, for me, summer vacation is the best time of theyear!。
从事体育运动员要做的努力英语作文The Hardwork of Being an AthleteHi there! My name is Jamie, and I'm 10 years old. I love playing sports and being active. Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a really great athlete? It's not easy at all! Athletes have to work incredibly hard to get to the top of their games. Let me tell you about all the effort and sacrifices they need to make.First of all, athletes have to practice their sport pretty much every single day. They can't just laze around at home watching TV or playing video games. Oh no, their schedule is super packed with training sessions. This could be running drills, lifting weights, practicing specific skills like dribbling a basketball or serving a tennis ball, and so much more. The practices are not just an hour or two either - elite athletes might train for 4, 5, even 6 hours every day!Can you imagine how tiring that would be? I get exhausted just thinking about it. But the athletes keep pushing themselves because they know that consistent, intense practice is the only way to build up their strength, speed, stamina, and skills. The more they practice, the better they get. Simple as that! Not only do they have to practice a ton, but athletes also have to follow strict diets and nutrition plans. You can't just eat chicken nuggets and french fries all day if you want to be a super athlete. Uh-uh, no way! Their diets are full of lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats to give their bodies all the fuel and nutrients they need. Lots of junk food is off-limits because it can slow them down and negatively impact their performance.Elite athletes also have to get plenty of rest and recovery time. You might think that since they train so hard, they can just stay up late every night. But actually, athletes need 8-10 hours of sleep to let their bodies rejuvenate after tough workouts. If they don't get enough sleep, they could end up injuring themselves or not performing at their highest level. Recovery days are important too - these are easier, lighter days to let their muscles repair and rebuild themselves.Another big part of being a top athlete is having the right mindset and mentality. They can't just goof around or make excuses during tough practices. Being an athlete means giving 100% effort, 100% of the time. It requires tremendous focus, discipline, drive, and resilience. If athletes start slacking off or get negative attitudes, they'll never reach their full potential. Thegreat ones remain optimistic and keep grinding, no matter how hard it gets.On top of all their physical training and mental preparation, athletes at higher levels also have to make lots of other sacrifices too. They might have to spend tons of time traveling to competitions around the country or even the world. This means being away from family, friends, and home for long stretches. Their social lives definitely take a backseat to their sport.Kids who want to be pro athletes one day can't even go too crazy on summer vacations or holiday breaks. They still have to stick to their diets, get their workouts in, and basically treat every day like they're in training mode. No sleepovers, late nights, or sleeping in for them! While their friends might be relaxing, athletes have to stay focused on their goals. As you can see, being an elite athlete at any age requires a ridiculous amount of hard work, sacrifice, and commitment. From endless training sessions to careful eating habits to incredible mental toughness - it all adds up to years and years of nonstop effort. Not everyone will have what it takes to make those kinds of intense sacrifices. But for the ones who do pursue it and give it their absolute all, the rewarding feelings of winning competitions, breakingrecords, being at the top of their game, and representing their country or team must make all those tough times worth it. Extremely hard? For sure. But champions willingly make those sacrifices because they've decided that being great, being elite, being the best is their ultimate driving force. So next time I'm whining about my little sports practice running a bit long, I'll remember how real athletes push through much, much harder sessions every single day! I have a long way to go if I want to make it to the highest levels of competition. But learning about their intense work ethic at a young age will motivate me to work harder myself. After all, champions are made, not born. It's all about the effort you put in.。
万唯中考英语名校模考满分作文七下三单元全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Title: My Awesome Day at the Park!Hey guys! I'm so excited to tell you about my amazing day at the park yesterday. It was the best day ever!In the morning, my mom woke me up really early. I was super tired and grumpy at first. I didn't want to get out of my warm, cozy bed. But then Mom said we were going to the park and I got soooooo excited! I jumped out of bed, got dressed in a flash, and raced downstairs for breakfast. I could hardly eat I was so pumped up to go!After breakfast, we piled into the car and headed to Camden Park. It's this gigantic park right in the middle of the city with tons of fun stuff to do. There's a awesome playground, a skating rink, basketball courts, hiking trails, and even a little lake where you can rent boats! I could barely sit still in the car I was so hyped. When we got there, the first thing I did was run straight for the jungle gym. I'm a master at monkey bars and can cross the entire thing without my feet touching the ground once. All the other kids watched me in awe as I flew across. Then I went down the craziest spiral slide you've ever seen! It's bright yellow and goes down and around in a million loops. I raised my arms in the air and screamed "Woooohooooo!" the whole way down. What a rush! After that, Mom took me over to the lake and rented a little rowboat for us. I'd never been in a rowboat before so I was a little nervous at first. But Mom showed me how to row and I got the hang of it pretty quickly. We rowed way out to the middle of the lake where I did my best fisherman's impression, pretending to catch monster-sized fish! They were as big as sharks, no, bigger than whales! Can you imagine?? We saw some real ducks too which was so cool. I made funny quacking noises at them until Mom politely asked me to be quieter so I didn't scare them away. When we got back to shore, I saw the most incredible thing - an artisan woodcarver was making the most amazing wooden sculptures right there in the park! He let me try carving a little too. I carved a lopsided heart that kind of looked like a butt if I'mbeing honest. But the woodcarver told me I was a natural and with more practice I could make amazing carvings too. Wasn't that nice of him? After that awesomeness, Mom and I stopped for lunch at a shady picnic table. We had PB&J sandwiches, baby carrots, Goldfish crackers, and an ice cold juice box. So yummy! I only spilled my juice box a little bit while slurping it down like a maniac. Oops! When my tummy was full, I spent over an hour just running around on the grass, rolling down the little hills, and making "grass angels" by waving my arms and legs back and forth. I felt like I could run forever I had so much energy! Mom looked like she could use a nap though, haha! Then we went over to the skate rink and I roller bladed for the first time ever. I was shaky at first, kind of like a baby deer learning to walk. But after a few laps around the rink holding onto the wall, I started getting the hang of it. By the end, I was zipping around like a pro, dodging all the other skaters. They cheered me on as I whizzed by going "Wooooosh!" Roller blading is ridiculously fun! After that excitement, I conked out hard in the car on the ride home. I don't even remember leaving the park I was sotuckered out! What a jam-packed, super amazing, incredibly fun day at the park. I gave Mom about a million hugs and kisses when we got home to say thanks for taking me. I can't wait to go back again soon! That's it from me, dudes! I'm off to dreamland to get recharged for more adventures tomorrow. Chat with you later! PEACE OUT!篇2My Big Day Taking the English ExamHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 6th grader. Today was a super important day because I took the big English exam to try to get into a really good middle school next year. I was so nervous, but I studied really hard so I think I did pretty well. Let me tell you all about it!First thing this morning, I woke up extra early because I didn't want to be late. My mom made me a big breakfast with eggs, toast, fruit and milk to give me lots of energy. As I was eating, I looked over my English vocabulary flashcards one more time. Then I double checked to make sure I had several sharpened pencils, a good eraser, and a water bottle in my backpack. When it was time to leave, my dad drove me to the testing center. There were so many kids there, all looking just as nervous as me. We had to enter the big room and find our assigned seat numbers. I took a deep breath and tried to stay calm like my parents told me. Pretty soon, the teachers passed out the test booklets and told us to begin. The first section was listening comprehension. We had to listen to recordings and answer questions about what we heard. I tried to listen really carefully and write down the important details. Next up was reading comprehension with long passages to read and questions to answer. I spent a lot of time practicing those types of questions, so I feel pretty confident about that part. After a short break to eat the snack I packed, it was time for the writing section. We had to write a letter to a pen pal introducing ourselves and our hometown. I made sure to organize my letter with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. I tried to use a variety of vocabulary words and grammar structures that I learned. Writing is one of my strengths, so I think I did well on that section. The final part was the speaking section where we had to answer questions out loud. The test proctor gave each of us atopic like describing our favorite holiday or talking about an important person in our life. I got the question about an important person, so I spoke about my amazing grandma and how she inspires me. I was pretty nervous to speak English out loud, but I took a deep breath and did my best. After what felt like forever, the exam was finally over! I double checked my answers and packed up my supplies. My parents were waiting outside and gave me a big hug when I came out. We went out for my favorite noodle soup to celebrate being done. Now it's just a matter of waiting to get my score back. No matter what, I'm proud of myself for trying my hardest. Studying English is challenging, but becoming fluent will open up so many opportunities for me. I'm going to keep practicing and working hard. Who knows, maybe I'll grow up to be an English teacher or translator someday!Well, that's my story about my big English exam day. It was definitely stressful, but also kind of fun getting to show off my skills. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I did well enough to get into my top choice middle school. Wish me luck! Thanks for reading about my experience. Study hard and you can crush that English exam too!篇3Oh boy, I'm so excited to tell you all about how I got a perfect score on the English exam practice test for the elite schools! It was for Unit 3 of the 7th grade 3rd volume book. I studied super hard and it really paid off.First of all, I made sure to review all the vocabulary words over and over again until I knew them backwards and forwards. There were some real zingers in there like "ubiquitous" and "plethora". I wrote them out on flashcards and had my parents quiz me every night after dinner. Sometimes it was a bit of a snoozefest, but I knew it was important. The reading comprehension passages were pretty tricky too. One was about the history of the printing press and another about cloud formations. I had to really concentrate and go through them line-by-line, circling words I didn't know and looking them up. I think doing all those practice passages in the book helped a ton. My mom joked that I knew more about the printing press than Gutenberg himself! Then there was the writing section where we had to write a five paragraph persuasive essay. The topic was whether we should have a longer summer vacation. I planned it out reallycarefully, with my thesis statement at the end of the introduction and three clear reasons with examples for the three body paragraphs. I made sure to use transition words like "additionally" and "furthermore" to glue my ideas together. For the conclusion, I restated my main points and then gave some thoughts on why an extended summer was beneficial for kids' mental health. I really worked hard on making it flow logically. Finally, there were some grammar exercises testing things like verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and pronoun usage. I felt pretty solid on those because we had gone over them again and again in class. Though I did have to double check myself on the difference between "who" and "whom" a couple times. When I got the test back, I was shaking opening the folder. I saw a huge red 100% circled at the top and did my little happy dance right there! All those late nights and weekends studying really were worth it. The teacher wrote "Excellent work, you should be very proud!" Kind words like that really mean a lot and motivate me to keep working hard.Mom and dad took me out for my favorite dinner that night to celebrate at the Sizzling Shrimp. I got to order a massive banana split for dessert and they didn't even mind when I ended up wearing half of it. I could tell they were just so proud thattheir little princess aced the test. They've always supported my academic dreams, like wanting to attend Grundy Elite Academy for middle school. Scoring so well on this practice exam puts me one step closer!I'm not going to rest on my laurels though. There's still a long road of studying ahead before the real exam next year to get into Grundy. I'll keep on going to my weekly tutoring sessions, entering the school's spelling bees, and joining academic team tryouts. Good study habits like using flashcards, taking excellent notes, and doing tons of practice questions are so key. When I put my mind to something, I'm like an unstoppable force! I'm already dreaming about the day when I get to walk through the gates of Grundy in my neat uniform. I'll be on my way to earning straight A's and getting into the coveted honor roll. Then it will be on to a top university like Stanford or Harvard. Visualization is powerful! Some of my friends think I'm crazy for wanting to go to a school as prestigious and competitive as Grundy. They just want to goof off and play video games all day. But they don't understand the opportunities that an elite education can open up. I'm going to be a world leader someday, solving globalproblems and helping people everywhere. Or maybe a brilliant scientist who revolutionizes green technology. The possibilities are endless!Well, I better stop daydreaming and get back to hitting the books. There are fresh flashcards waiting with vocabulary from the next unit. Thanks for letting me share my exciting news with you! I'll keep all of you updated on my journey to success. Study hard, play hard! Catch ya later, alligators!篇4My Favorite Animal is the Panda BearHi! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite animal, the panda bear. Pandas are the coolest! They are so cute and fuzzy and they eat bamboo all day. I saw pandas at the zoo last summer on a field trip and they were awesome.Pandas are really big bears but they only eat bamboo, which is a type of plant. Can you believe a huge bear only eats plants? It's crazy! They have these special thumbs that aren't really thumbs but they help them grab the bamboo easier. Pandas spend like 12 hours a day just eating bamboo. I don't know how they don't get sick of it. If I had to eat the same thing every dayfor 12 hours, I'd get so bored. But not pandas, they just chow down on bamboo all day and seem pretty happy.Their fur is super duper soft and thick. It's black and white which makes them look really pretty and distinctive. Like a panda couldn't be mistaken for any other kind of bear. When they have babies, the babies are really tiny, like smaller than a stick of butter! The mom has to take really good care of them. Baby pandas are so cute and cuddly. I just want to snuggle them!Pandas are really lazy too, which is funny for such a big animal. After they eat a bunch of bamboo, they just lie around and rest or sleep. They don't do much else during the day. If I tried to be lazy like that, my mom would yell at me! She's always telling me to go outside and play instead of watching TV. But if I was a panda, I could lie around all day and she couldn't get mad. It must be an awesome life.Another cool thing about pandas is that they're really good at climbing trees. You wouldn't think it because they're so heavy, but they can climb up into the trees no problem to eat bamboo or take naps on a branch. I tried climbing our apple tree once and fell pretty much right away. Pandas are much better tree climbers than me for sure.Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of pandas left in the wild. People chopped down way too many bamboo forests that pandas need to live and eat. Without bamboo, pandas could go extinct eventually and that makes me really sad. Zoos have tried to help by lending out pandas to breed more babies, but there's still not a ton of them. We need to protect their homes better.Overall, pandas are just the neatest, coolest, cutest, most interesting bears there are. They're kind of like lazy, chubby, bamboo-munching teddy bears. How could you not love them? Whenever I'm having a grumpy day, I just think about pandas and it cheers me up. Wouldn't it be amazing if I could have one as a pet? Then I could watch it eat bamboo and climb trees and nap all day. Maybe when I grow up, I'll become a panda zookeeper and I can hang out with them all the time. Pandas are 100% my favorite animal and I hope they're around forever!篇5My Super Cool Summer Vacation!Yay, school is finally out for summer! I'm so excited for my awesome summer vacation. I have sooo many fun things planned. Let me tell you all about it!First up, I'm going to my cousin's house for a week. She lives on a big farm with tons of animals like cows, chickens, horses, and pigs. I love playing with the baby animals - they are just the cutest! We're going to go on tractor rides, have bonfires and make s'mores, and go fishing in the pond. My cousin says she'll even teach me how to milk a cow. I've never done that before but I'm a little nervous the cow will kick me!After the farm, my family is taking a road trip out west. We're going to drive for like a million hours to see the Grand Canyon. My dad says it's this humongous hole in the ground that's so big you can't even see across it. That sounds pretty neat! We're also going to stop at some national parks along the way to go hiking and look for bears and stuff. I hope I get to ride a donkey down into the Grand Canyon like the tour guides do. As long as it doesn't buck me off and I go tumbling down into the canyon. Yikes! The best part of the trip is that we're going to Disneyland at the end! I'm sooo excited to go on all the rides like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and the Haunted Mansion. I've wanted to go there since I was a tiny kid. I'm going to eat so much cotton candy, popcorn, and Mickey-shaped pretzels. And I can't wait to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and all theother Disney characters. I'm definitely getting their autographs and like a million pictures with them. This is going to be the funnest vacation ever! When I get back home, I'm going to swimming camp for two weeks. They teach you all the different strokes like freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and even butterfly. I want to be a really fast swimmer like Michael Phelps one day. We'll play pool games and have relay races too. I hope I get to go off the high dive this year since I was too scared last summer. It looks so scary up there on that tiny little board way up high! But all the older kids do it so I think I'm finally brave enough to try.My best friend Jessica is coming over for a week too so we can have an epic sleepover. We're going to eat junk food, watch movies, play truth or dare, and do makeovers. Maybe we'll even get to have a bonfire and roast marshmallows in my backyard if my parents say it's okay. Her little brother is so annoying though, so we're probably going to have to lock him out of my room. Boys are so gross and have cooties at our age, yuck!Oh and I can't forget about my birthday party at the end of the summer! This year I'm having a circus theme with games like a strong man bell ring, a juggling instructor, andprobably a bouncy castle too. All my friends are coming over and my mom isgoing to make the most delicious funfetti cake ever. I'm going to get so many awesome presents. I hope someone gets me that new video game I really want! Those are just some of the amazingly fun activities I'll be doing this summer. I can't wait for all the adventures to start! No more teachers, no more books for two whole months. This is going to be the best summer vacation ever. First day of school is forever away so I've got lots of time for making awesome summer memories! Woohoo, let the fun begin!篇6My English Class is So Much Fun!Hi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. I go to Valley Elementary School and I just love my English class. English is my favorite subject and I'm going to tell you all about why I think it's the best!First of all, I have the coolest English teacher ever - Ms. Johnson! She's so nice and fun. She always has a big smile on her face and she makes learning English feel like a game instead of work. We play lots of games in her class to practice our vocabulary and grammar. My favorite is when we split into teams and have competitions to see who can make the longestsentence using new words we just learned. The winners get stickers or candy! How awesome is that?In English class, we get to do lots of cool activities besides just reading from textbooks and doing worksheets. Sometimes we act out short plays or skits to practice conversational English. Other times, we listen to songs in English and have to identify things like new vocab words or verb tenses. We even watch short video clips from movies or TV shows and then discuss what happened. It's a really interactive and engaging way to learn.Ms. Johnson also makes learning about different cultures through English class really fascinating. We've learned about holidays, foods, customs, and traditions from all around the world. Just a few weeks ago, we had a "festival day" where each student represented a different country. I was Italy and I brought in pizza, wore a jersey from the Italian soccer team, and taught the class some basic Italian phrases and words. We listened to international music, tried foods from different cuisines, and played traditional games from various countries. It was an awesome way to appreciate cultural diversity while practicing our English skills.Another thing I really love about English class is when we get creative with projects and assignments. Sometimes we'll writeand illustrate our own short storybooks complete with dialogue. Other times, we have to create posters advertising imaginary products or inventions and then present them to the class using persuasive language. We've made videos, put on skits, designed games with English instructions, and more. Ms. Johnson always thinks of such cool, open-ended projects that allow us to be creative while applying what we've learned. My English skills have improved so much from all of the reading, writing, listening, and speaking practice I get in this class. At the beginning of the year, I was pretty shy about speaking English in front of others since it's not my first language. But now, I feel a lot more confident conversing and don't stress as much about making small mistakes. English class has definitely helped make me a stronger reader, writer, speaker, and listener overall.I think part of why I find English so interesting is because the language is used all over the world. Learning it opens up the door to communicating with so many more people across different cultures. Plus, a lot of my favorite movies, TV shows, books, games, and songs are in English. The more I improve at it, the more I can fully immerse myself in all of that awesome English-language media and entertainment.English class can definitely be challenging at times too, but that's part of what makes it fun and rewarding. Sometimes we'll have tests to evaluate our progress with things like grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and more. But Ms. Johnson doesn't just make us memorize rules and definitions. She has us apply those skills throug。
