几米简介

幾米原名廖福彬。

1958年生于台湾，文化大学美术系毕业。

曾在广告公司工作12年，现为著名绘本作家。

你快乐时我刚好感到哀愁人生不都是如此吗？——幾米《1.2.3.木头人》介绍：“一个童话诗人，在安静的世界里。

”这是一位女大学生对幾米的印象。

因为喜欢幾米笔下那个世界的美好和淡淡哀愁，她从偏僻的郊区赶到新闻发布会现场，只为了看一眼幾米。

幾米的原名非常普通，叫廖福彬。

他在著名的奥美广告公司工作了12年。

这十多年里，他自言过着别人看起来非常令人羡慕的生活:收入高，工作时髦。

但实际上，广告公司压力非常大，很辛苦。

而且幾米也感到了中年危机(他出生于1958年)：高不成低不就。

他渴望有自己的东西，但广告公司是个TEAMWORK。

更主要的原因是他不想做需要跟别人沟通的工作了，而是希望能有非常单纯的工作和生活。

他发现画插图可以满足自己，画完寄给出版社或报社就可以了，所以他离开了广告公司。

做了自由职业者的幾米说他平时的活动范围非常小，只是在家里附近吃个饭什么的。

他不太习惯接受采访，曾说采访是“消耗性的东西”，写出来的东西往往只满足了读者的好奇心，看过就算了。

幾米上过两次电视，他说现在不再接受电视采访了，因为他觉得自己太平凡，“瘦瘦小小的，也没有什么好看的”。

但自从他成名后，采访总是不可避免。

就是这个声音听起来非常腼腆，外表也不起眼的幾米1999年以《向左走?向右走》在港台掀起了绘本热潮。

其实，在1998年，幾米和另外几位作者就不约而同地采取了这种创作方式。

此后，幾米的作品频频获得图书奖，行销一时。

目前比较尴尬的一个问题是，这种创作形式还没有具体的定位。

1998、1999年他的几部作品被评为最佳儿童类读物，而实际上它们更接近于成人童话。

人生无常是幾米笔下一个很重要的主题。

他说生活里是没有那么多幸福的，也许年轻时是乐观的，但现在他不是了。

所以幾米对现代都市人的孤独格外敏感。

幾米作品里那些没有名字的人跟周围的世界总是厚厚地隔了一层，他们处在自我对话的状态，非常沉默地走在都市中。

答：出版社要我起一个笔 名，自己非常喜欢几字， 平时提笔练字时就习惯写 “几”。而且几米看起来 确实有点不一样。
