班号:08090541 学号:04 姓名:陈龙燕学院号:09How Do You Benefit From This Course? As we all known, English is becoming more and more important with the development of the world’s economy and culture. We will have more and more opportunities to get into touch with different cultures from different countries. There is no doubt that English is one of the world's most widely used and important languages. Due to the development of the economy, the international communication depends much more on English language, English plays an important role in it.English is so important to us all, so as spoken English and listening English. At the time we find the importance of English, most of us Chinese students ignore the study of spoken English. As a consequence, it is difficult for us to speak fluent English. What’s more, we can’t communicate with others in English because we can’t understand others’meaning and show our thoughts or ideas in English. This leads to we can’t use the world’s resources which may block our development. Therefore, it is critical that everyone of we humans especially our college students should learn English well .What’s more, listening and speaking English well will also have numerous advantages. Especially when we graduate from universities to find a good job. In order to have more chances to practice my English speaking and listening, I choose the English Movies and English Learning as my elective course this term. Luckily, we have seen a plenty of original English movies. Such as 《Zoom》、《Freaky Friday》、《Robots》、《Mummy 3》、《Twilight》 and so on . Before we saw them, our teacher often told us the introduction and critical sentences of the film so as to let us understand it easily. What encouragedme most is that our teacher found a series of daily sentences and we followed her to speak it out. It’s helpful to our spoken English which may contribute our daily communications.《Tilight》 is a very cool movie. The author Stephanie Meyer writes four books which then were filmed. The first book is Twilight. I am very glad to see it. It tells a story about eternal love between a smart young girl with a heart of fire and an incredibly and deadly attractive vampire. Isabella "Bella" moves from sunny Phoenix, Arizona to rainy Forks, Washington to live with her father, while her mother travels with her new husband. Bella attracts much attention at her new school and is quickly become familiar with several students. In the school, she also meets a mysterious boy named Edward Cullen who has many difference from common people. After much research, Bella eventually discovers that Edward isa vampire, though he only consumes animal blood. The pairs fall in love with each other. Soon after, three nomadic vampires arrive. James, a tracker vampire, is disaffection by Edward's protectiveness over a human and wants to hunt Bella for sport. Edward and his family risk their livesto protect her, and eventually they success in defeating all difficulties.Reading "Twilight", I always feel the love between man and vampireis so shocked and power. Man and vampire, originally belonging to two different worlds, there are so many obstacles in front of them. What make they defeat everything that stop them from love each other is courage and truth. From the movie I recognize that love is no limited .If we love somebody, we shall accept every aspect of him and try our best to make the love remains longer. Our life always has different kinds of people, we should learn to accept every kind of them and keep peace of them. At the same time Twilight also deliver a feeling of courage and power to us that will make us have the faith to defeat everything in our lives. On the other hand, we can’t take it as just an unrealistic love adventure. What’s more, I was so addicted to it that I focus attention on next movie New Moon.Another film that impressed me most is 《Freaky Friday》. The film tells us a story about Generation gap between a mother and revolt daughter. In their daily lives, there is a lack of communication between them which leads to misunderstands and generation gap. The mother often wants to control her daughter’s thoughts and actions while the daughter is a revolt girl who doesn’t want to follow her mother’s orders only to have her own freedom. Thanks to a cookie was gives by a old woman, a strange thing happened on a Sunday morning. They changed their body with each other, this means the mother had the daughter’s body but still had her own thought, so as the daughter. In order to get it normal, they have to experience each other’s life and understand each other. During the one day’s experience, both of them found so many difficulties in other’s life. Finally, they returned to normal life but could understand and support each other better. What do I learn from this movie is that it is important to communicate with our parents our thoughts and ideas in time in order to let them know our true feelings better and support our actions. We should respect them and receive their suggestions. Parents show their feelings to us in a appreciate way is also important to get rid of generation gap. What’s more, leaving children some space to do their own things is also important. Parent and their children should become closed friends rather than the so-called “stranger”.Thanks to our teacher provide this course to us and give us a chance to contact with so many good films. This course also has brought me so many benefits which let me know the method to learn English from watching English movies. From now on, I’ll continue this method which our teacher told us to learn spoken and listening English and never give up.。

影视赏析的英文作文英文:As a lover of film and television, I find great pleasure in analyzing and appreciating the artistry behind the screen. There are a multitude of elements that go into creating a successful film or TV show, from the writing to the cinematography to the acting. Each aspect contributes to the overall experience of the viewer, and it's fascinating to dissect how they all come together. One of the most important elements, in my opinion, is the writing. A well-written script can make or break a film or TV show. It's the foundation upon which everything else is built. The dialogue, character development, and plot all stem from the script, and a weak script can result in a lackluster final product. On the other hand, a strongscript can elevate even mediocre performances and cinematography.Another crucial aspect is the acting. A talented actor can bring a character to life and make the audience care about their journey. It's not just about delivering lines convincingly, but also about embodying the character and bringing their emotions and motivations to the forefront. A great example of this is Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight. His portrayal was so haunting and captivating that it's hard to imagine anyone else in the role.Cinematography is also a key component in creating a memorable film or TV show. The way a scene is shot can convey a certain mood or emotion, and can even becomeiconic in its own right. Think of the opening shot of The Godfather, with the cat sitting in Marlon Brando's lap. It immediately sets the tone for the rest of the film and is instantly recognizable. Finally, music and sound design can greatly enhance the viewing experience. A well-crafted score can heighten the emotional impact of a scene, while sound effects can add to the realism and immersion of the world being portrayed. Theuse of music in the final scene of The Shawshank Redemption is a perfect example of this. The swelling score perfectly captures the sense of hope and liberation that the characters are feeling.Overall, analyzing and appreciating film and television is a deeply rewarding experience. It allows us to delveinto the artistry behind the screen and gain a greater understanding and appreciation for the medium.中文:作为一名影视爱好者,我非常喜欢分析和欣赏屏幕背后的艺术。

This fact was made this group people becoming the attacked target of right-wing political group, neotascisand, some churches. Also the homosexual people get a lot of prejudice from society. But scientists found that about 80 percent people was infected AIDS during heterosexual people. There a few lesbian are infected AIDS. The WHO hope people can get the right attitude and more care to the AIDS people. This is just a hope. In the real society, there exists prejudice no matter how high people’s education background or how high people’s social status. The film Philadelphia is a symbolic work which reflects the real condition of that time in America.Philadelphia is the oldest and the sixth largest city in the United States. It is also the largest city of Pennsylvania. The word Philadelphia is consists of two Greek words: one is philos, which means love; the other one is adelphos, which means brother. So the city of Philadelphia is also called the city of brotherly love. It is the reason that why the film was called Philadelphia. One of the themes in Philadelphia is homosexual. So the name Philadelphia of this film is apposite. This film Philadelphia is talk about the homosexual, AIDS patient, prejudice for these two kinds of people and justice. The film presents that the lawyer called Andrew who faired by the reason that he got AIDS seeks his rights and justice in the court by the help of Joe who is the representation of Andrew. At last, they win the case and get the justice. It is a moved story which arouses people’s sympathy and the right attitude toward to homosexuals or AIDS patients. The author will focus more on the analysis of the prejudice in the film. During the film, when people know Andrew has AIDS, they show more prejudice for Andrew. The film makes successfully in form the character in many sections. The author will illustrate some of successful scenes in forming a outstanding figure who show a great prejudice for homosexuals and AIDS patients. The first scene is between Andrew and Joe. Andrew was fired by the reason that he lost the document, but the true reason is that Andrew has AIDS. Andrew wants to sue the law office and he needs a representation. Therefore, Andrew goes to Joe’s office and asks him for help. However, Joe is frightened to take out his handshake hand and to back down again and again by knowing the news that Andrew has AIDS. Joe’s face becomes dark and all the warmth actions disappeared. His body language is embarrassed and he deliberately keeps a safe distance with Andrew. When they sit down, Joe watches every motion of Andrew, especially the place where Andrew puts his hat and the things that Andrew touches, also Andrew’s wound in his head. All the actions of Joe clearly show that he has a deep prejudice to the AIDS patients. What’s more, it is hard to accept that there are many homosexuals surround him in his mind. In a word, Joe has a bias of AIDS patients.Another scene also shows a serious prejudice to AIDS patients. In the library, the manager asks Andrew to go to the private research room twice in an indirect way. Although it is euphemistic, it arouses the other people’s attention because it is easy to understand the manager’s asking which indirectly tells people that Andrew has AIDS. When Joe comes to the scene, the manager goes away. The young man who sits opposite of Andrew goes away soon. The manager and the young show their serious prejudice. Some people, like the young man, show their prejudice according to the people’s external, ever their feelings. They may look at someone or think one looks like an AIDS patient will keep a safe distance with them. The thought of Joe to AIDS patients changes a litter from this time. However, the essence is not changing in Joe’s inner heart. Joe also think homosexual is sick. Compared with these people, Andrew’s family member play a total different role in the film. They not only accept the fact that Andrew has AIDS and there exist homosexuals in their daily life, but also give a great support to Andrew to take back the rights and justice which belong to a normal people, even belong to Andrew in court.Joe deeply exposes the prejudice to AIDS patients or homosexuals in the society in the court. In the courtroom, justice blind to matters of race, creed, color, religionand sexual orientation. However, people do not live in the courtroom. Therefore, prejudice to homosexuals exists widely in the real society. Joe’s thought to homosexuals and AIDS patients change in his inner heart by the understanding of the world of homosexuals. Without doubt, Joe’ change is also affected by Andrew. In the normal world, I am not afraid of AIDS patient, but I can not accept homosexual in my inner heart. If the homosexuals are close(it means the relationship) or he or she is my friend or some intimate people, I could not accept. If the homosexuals who has no relationship with me, I can accept. After watch this film, I really sympathize with Andrew. What’s more, I appreciate his courage for getting back his rights and justice. Gradually the film goes to the end, the prejudice to AIDS people and homosexuals are receded. But is also proposed a moral question to people, rendering the loving care and the assistance to AIDS patients the same as other sickness, this is approved everywhere, but the right attitude we should adopt to the homosexuals is very important.。
