• I like badminton very much. Because playing badminton have many advantages. It has lots of fun and enjoy not only the social aspects of team play but also the fantastic health benefits. it can also let us be feeling exciting, it can let us be happier; let us be flexible; increase stamina, attention and reaction ability; and it is a very good way to keep fit and from which I gain a large amount of fun. Additionally, Badminton is a physical demanding game, and it is mentally challenging as well. In mixed doubles, teamwork is the key in forming a formidable partnership. I play badminton. The rally ends once the shuttlecock touches the ground: every stroke must be played as a volley. In doubles, either player of a pair may hit the shuttlecock (except on service), but only a single stroke is allowed before the shuttle passes again into the opponents' court (unlike volleyball). Players are awarded a point if the shuttlecock lands on or within the marked boundary of their opponents' court, or if their opponent's stroke fails to pass the net or lands outside the court boundary.

1.Origin of Badminton
Badminton is believed to
have originated from a game called poona(普那) that was played by English army officers stationed in
India during the mid-19th
century.
The post shall be 1.55m in height from the surface of the court and shall remain vertical when the net is strained. The net shall be made of fine cord of dark color and even thickness with a mesh of no less than 15mm and no more than 20mm. The net shall be 760mm in depth and at least 6.1m wide. There shall be no gaps between the ends of the net and the posts. If necessary, the full depth of the net should be tied at the ends.
3.Scoring Sysmes. The side that first scores 21 points shall win. The side winning a rally shall add 1 point to its score. If a score becomes 2020, the side which scores 2 consecutive points shall win that game.
1.Origin of Badminton
Army officers brought it home to England, and in
1873, the duke of Beaufort introduced the game to royal society at his country estate, Badminton(伯明顿) House, in Gloucestershire. Since Badminton is the place where the game came into being, it was suggested that the game be named after it, thus the game had a new name-badminton.

If the score becomes 29-29, the side that scores the 30th point shall win that game. The side winning a game serves first in the next game. When one side reaches 11 points, players on both sides get a 1 minute break. Both sides get a 2 minute break between first and second games, and another 2 minute break between the second and third game.
