What is cyber-violence? Cyber-violence is making aggressive, provocative or insulting remarks on the Internet and causing damage to others’reputation.According to a survey data, China had 564 million Internet users and 70% of them are under 40. Through the Internet, people share their daily lives with the others, they update their personal blogs, post their least pictures. However, a report says that more than 60 percent of teenagers have suffered cyber-violence. This report has caught public attention.according to the report. It’s known that the micro blog and friends circl e are quite popular in China. Connecting with the Internet, people post everything about themselves on their personal platform, the personal information is unlocked, and so everybody can see it. And here comes the trouble: some people may leave the malicious remarks on others personal page on purpose and cause cyber-quarreling. Some people spread untrue message or defame others, the result of such behavior will lead to the bad reputation of the victims.I am not here to criticize but help more people realize the truth behind. Cindy, a young model in Taiwan, couldn’t bear the nasty words and constan tly online harassment from netizen, at last committed suicide. And this is not a single case. Now what we see is a beautiful little girl named DuoDuo, she took part in a television reality show with her father, HuangLei. In the program she had a quarrel with another girl Beier, which seemed to irritated the net citizens. I’ll show you what I have found in the micro blog. Some people said get out of the program. Some people warn her father to teach her a lesson. Some people even use dirty words to abuse the little girl. This is not for fun. It’s moral decay. These cases is really thought-provoking.For a long time, we think we can say whatever we want just because we are hiding behind the screen. We judge; we criticize; we scold, and we highlight the "right of speech ". But we don't even care a little bit about the consequences of our words. We ought to be entitled to speak in order to make our voices heard, make things right, and shape the world into a better place. We failed, mostly. We do change the world, but it's the world of groups of vulnerable people. They've been poorly targeted at with nasty words, harsh criticism, and unstoppable harassment. Have we ever thought that the person on the other side of the screen could be our friends, roommates, brothers, sisters or our beloved ones? We have been taught to be tolerant and kind in real life. But once we get an anonymous ID sitting in front of our computer, all moral codes threw away.Wrong rumors can destroy a person’s mind, the one who spread the rumor should be condemned, he is just like a killer who is out of responsibility. In order to civilize people’s behavior on the Internet, a law should be made to supervise the manipulation.。
