Module 2 Unit 1 There is a big Chinatown in New York.

[教学目标]

知识目标:

1) 复习单词表中的单词,并能认读相关短语

2) 能准确找出文中表过去式的单词,并能写出其原形

3) 通过阅读,领会大意

能力目标:

1、用过去时表述过去发生的事情

2.用There be …句型介绍某一地方

情感目标:

了解中华文化,增强民族自豪感,养成合理的跨文化心态及与各国人民友好相处的意识。

[教学重点]

理解文章,从而能准确的朗读,单词,句子和课文。

[教学难点]

用一般过去时完成一定的任务。

[教学准备] 录音带,词卡,CD--ROM ,课本,练习册

[教学流程]

一、Warming-up(热身活动)

1. Greetings.

2.Now, let’s sing the song. The Great Wall of China(师生同唱)

二、Presentation (介绍新语言项目)

导课:

1.What’s Daming doing?

Daming is going to send an email to his mum.

2.介绍并板书:Today we’re going to learn this email.

There is a big Chinatown in New York.

三、New teaching(课文教学)

1.打开邮件,师生共同收看收听邮件内容。

(1)带着问题听第一次:

Listen (Daming 看到的Chinatown是什么样的)。

并思考:What’s the Chinatown in New York?

(2) 学生汇报,互相补充,老师补充板书(中间):

通过句子和图片,明确Chinatown是中国城 There is a big Chinatown in New York.

There were Chinese people everywhere.

There were lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.

(3) 反馈板书,请教学生为什么用is / were

(4) 小结:is 是表现在仍客观存在的现实;后接可数名词单数。

were 表示的是过去发生的事情;后可接可数名词的复数。

(5)老师示范整理板书a big Chinatown,贴在黑板右侧,分栏写,学生同时记到书上。

2.带着问题听第二次:

(1)Where did Daming go yesterday?

(2)Who went with him?

(3).What did they see?

(4) What did they eat?

回答时注意went, ate, saw的使用

(5)老师示范整理板书Chinese dancing/in the street,贴在黑板右侧,分栏写,学生同时记到书上。

3. 第三次带着任务读:

(1) Listen, and find: went, spoke, ate, saw.

(2) 老师让学生发现这些单词的共同特点是什么?

生答,他们是动词的一般过去式。 师问:文章为什么用一般过去时?用时应注意什么?

生发表自己的看法.

最后,老师总结:是的,当我们讲述过去经历的事情时,就要用一般过去时,在该时态中动词的词尾要有变化,规则变化的须在动词词尾加ed或d如visited, liked;不规则变化需特殊记。

(3)老师示范整理板书,贴在黑板右侧,分栏写,学生同时记到书上。

2. 第四次朗读:

(1)谈谈email的书写格式,强调To和From

(2)注意体会大明的真情实意:思念,兴奋

四、Production(任务完成)

Game: make more interesting sentences

1. Time (before) 2.sth. 3. went to/saw/ate sth.

E.g.: Last weedend, the moon went to LiBo’s home, saw a ghost, ate the Great Wall.

六、Summary and homework (小结及作业)

小结:要正确使用一般过去时态,注意动词过式似的变化规则;

作业:1.将本课所出现的新词,习惯用语及动词过去式归类整理到笔记本上。

2.活动手册P6—1, 2

There were lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.

Chinese dancing in the street
