I'm Li Hua from Class 3. We're overwhelmed with excitement at the knowledge

that an oral English class will be arranged for us（同位语从句）. But learning that 第 2 页 we'll be randomly paired to do the oral practice, I feel an urge to express my different

To begin with, it couldn't be better if students with mixed levels of English could

Getting to Know the Plants Around Us

Last weekend, I took part in an event held by the Students' Union, which is aimed

at educating us more about plants around us（非限制性定语从句）.

Initially, I attended a lecture on the flower project. The lecturer asked us to write a

review on it. Since tulips are my favorite plant（原因状语从句）,I did well and got

praised. Additionally, I visited the desert exhibition. Learning much from it（现在分词短语作状语）, I came to understand why plants in the desert have sharp leaves（宾语从句）. Ultimately, I was introduced to a brochure about trees we usually see in life,

which benefited me a lot.

Undoubtedly, I gained numerous knowledge on plants and have become

interested in them through this meaningful activity.

Last Sunday witnessed my participating in a meaningful activity named "Getting
