全册教材分析一、教学目的根据小学生的生理和心理特点以及发展需求，小学阶段英语课程的目的是激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养他们英语学习的积极态度，使他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心；培养学生一定的语感和良好的语音、语调基础；使他们形成初步用英语进行简单日常交流的能力，为进一步学习打下基础。
同时培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象和创造能力。
适当的介绍中西方文化，培养学生的爱国主义精神，增强世界意识，为学生的进一步学习奠定良好的基础。
二、教材的编写意图（一）全书配有彩色卡通式插图，设计新颖活泼，生动有趣，这样可以激发学生的学习动机和学习兴趣；（二）培养学生良好的书写习惯（三）本册书共6个单元、2个复习单元。
每单元分“A、B、C”三个部分，每个单元的话题都联系学生的实际，如爱好，家庭，朋友等。
小学学的都是一些基础性的东西，可以为小学生以后的英语学习奠定基础。
（四）本书的语言材料真实地道，活泼有趣，可以发展学生学习英语的自主能力。
（五）教材编排内容多样化，有对话，歌曲，游戏，任务，会话，文化知识等，这样可以使学生在活动中也能感知语言，习得语言并能了解一些东西方文化。
（六）每单元由主干系统和辅助系统两部分组成。
主干系统是由let’s learn, let’s talk, read and write这三部分组成；辅助系统是由let’s do, let’s play, write and say, story time组成。
各个部分都配有彩图，设计新颖，语言地道，联系了学生的实际。
这几部分所蕴含的能力体系有：听：Let’s check 能听懂录音并找出正确答案说：Let’s talk 能运用所学日常用语进行交流；读：四年级上册Read and write 能正确地读出字母的发音以及字母在单词里的发音；四年级下册Read and write能看懂文章大意，最主要的是能掌握并正确地书写四会句子。
写：Write and say 能按笔顺正确地书写26个英文字母；做：Let’s do,能通过看图片了解Let’s do 的意思并能听音做出动作。
