一、说教材本单元主要围绕“April Fool’s Day ”为话题,谈论发生在过去的事情,培养学生对发生的事情进行客观评价的能力,并学习自主解决问题的能力;通过讨论“发生在过去的事情”这个话题,学习过去完成时的构成和基本用法以及现在完成时和过去完成时的区别。
而本课是本单元的第一课,初步接触过去完成时,并且过去完成时是英语中非常重要的一种时态,占据着相当重要的位置。
