Unit 4 Astronomy: the science of the starsWritingClass：___________ Name：____________六级写作课课程标准：1．能用恰当的格式写便条和简单的信函；2．能简单地描述人物或事件，并简单地表达自己的意见；3．能用恰当的语言书写问候卡；4．能给朋友、笔友写信，交流信息和情感；5．能对所写内容进行修改。

学习目标:1.能够掌握说明文的写作特点；2.学会使用说明文的常用句型表达自己的观点；3.学会用英文写解决问题的说明文。

学习重难点：会使用说明文的常用句型表达自己的观点。

Step 1 写作指导怎样解决问题的文章属于说明文，是针对某一问题，提出具体的解决方法，并进行适当论述。

【写作要求】说明文的特点：第一，内容上的科学性。

说明文的内容必须真实准确，以确凿的材料为依据，如实反映客观事物的特征、本质及规律，具有严密的科学性。

第二，结构上的条理性。

事物和事理有时往往是比较复杂的，为了给读者以明确的认识，说明其特征时必须有一定的条理和顺序。

第三，言语的准确性。

说明文的实用性很强，语言表达“失之毫厘”，其结果就会“谬以千里”，所以说明文的语言要求准确无误，给读者以科学的认识。

写这类文章主要采用的方法是解释。

解释清楚合理，这样读起来才会思路清楚、条理分明。

将问题的成因、关系、原理等说清楚，使读者知其然且知其所以然。

下面我们就本单元的写作要求具体分析如何写这类文章。

首先我们要提出会遇到的问题和困难，其次我们才会找出相关的解决方法，最后我们再对这些方法进行总结，采用先分述后总结的顺序。

【常用表达】To start with, ... The second reason is ... The last but not least reason is ...First of all, ... Secondly, ... Thirdly, ... The last but not least, ...Now that the causes for ... are organized, some solutions must be made in order to ... In my opinion, the best way to solve the problem is ... My tips are as follows: ...The reason for ... Can be listed as follows.If I ..., here is a problem I might have.Perhaps I would use ...Step 2 写作探讨以How to solve the problem of heavy traffic为例，通过以下几个具体的步骤来完成：1.点名问题，明确需要解决的问题是什么。

对于交通堵塞这个问题，其关键点有三：道路、车辆和行人，我们不妨从这三个方面去分析。

2.提出可能解决问题的办法，并逐一进行简要论述。

针对上面提到的三点，我们就可以一一提出解决方案：建更多、更宽的道路，开辟更多的公交车线路；减少私家车的使用，多乘坐公共交通工具，提倡步行或骑自行车；遵守交通规则，不乱穿马路。

3.确定解决方案后进行总结。

第一个方案的优点是降低街道的拥挤程度，缺点是占地过多；第二个方案的优点是大大减少废气的排放，既可减少污染，又能锻炼身体，但是对一些人的出行带来不便；最后一个方案是人们的意识问题，这点是很重要也是很关键的。
