Hello everyone, this is Elaine who give speech today.First, let’s us see two words.The first one is barristerIn England and Wales, a barrister is a lawyer who represents clients in the higher courts of law.The second one is solicitorA solicitor is the chief lawyer in a government or city department.Those two words both have the meaning of lawyer, but in British judicial system, they mean totally different things.I conclude the differences between them as following:1、solicitor usually refers to the junior lawyer，they are the assistants of the barristers.
