本单元难点是体会while和when在引导时间状语从句时用法上的区别和用一般过去时和过去进行时描述事件。

学生在Section A前半部分已经基本掌握过去进行时的表达方法,在篇章中理解和运用过去进行时以及描述过去发生的事情是本课的重点,且关于暴风雨的经历学生在实际生活中较为缺乏,因此要在教学中给学生创设出情景,鼓励他们表达。
