【教学内容分析】
本模块以photo display为话题。本单元是通过照片展览竞赛锻炼学生描述照片的语言表达方式。通过本单元的听说活动，给学生提供充足的体验和运用语言的机会。
【学情分析】
本模块谈论照片，内容简单，易于调动学生的积极性，学生能积极参与到课堂中。而且相互之间能够很好地利用小组进行合作交流。

教材
分析 本模块Module11共三个单元. Unit1 He is the boy who won the
photo competition last year.主要学习有关定语从句关系代词who的用法。之前的第十单元，学生已经对定语从句有了初步的理解，并且学习了由that做关系代词的用法。本单元继续学习定语从句的用法，让学生加深理解，并逐渐体会和运用定语从句。
本课是第十一模块中的第一单元，属于听说课类型，重点训练和提高学生的听说的水平。
学情
分析 在开展本单元学习之前，学生在第十模块中已经对于定语从句有了初步的了解，能够理解定语从句的定义及关系代词为that的用法，但有些学生对于定语从句和宾语从句的区分还是比较模糊。另外定语从句是学生们在初中阶段所学的最后一个重要语法，与八年级所学的宾语从句容易混淆。虽有之前的第十模块的铺垫，但是由于文章句子较长对于部分同学来说很难理解；因此在注重基础知识夯实的前提下，通过本课的听力、阅读环节进一步理解that和who引导的英语从句。
