ONOMATOPOEIA 拟声/拟声法
—Use of words that, when pronounced, suggest their meaning
Who is pound ing the door? 谁在用拳敲门? / hear drums pound ing in the distance 听见远处有鼓咚咚地敲着
Snakes hiss. 蛇嘶嘶作响。
