语法结构要求掌握由when 和while引导的时间状语从句、过去进行时以及一般过去时。
在了解目标语言的基础上,要求学生能读懂描述过去经历的文章,并进行模仿写作训练,描述一段不寻常的经历。
Section A 1a通过让学生把几个不同的人及其在UFO出现的相应位置进行配对,初步呈现本单元的目标语言,即talk about past events。
1c是一个会话活动,让学生练习when 和while引导的时间状语从句和过去进行时的表达法。

1)整理思路——组织素材Interesting events的话题是回忆我们过去生活中有趣的话题,作为学生都有自己的兴趣爱好,回忆什么?当时你在做什么?指导建议:本单元话题是谈论过去发生的事情,运用when 和while引导的时间状语从句、过去进行时以及一般过去时。
2)规划文章结构——列出提纲由于已经基本确定要写的内容,文章开头用一句话说明自己过去某一时候,你在什么地方;主体部分重点阐述过去某一时候,你在做什么。
3)组织语言——起草文章罗列出学过的兴趣爱好的短语,学生动笔写作,老师走动观察学生写作情况,解决学生写作时出现的问题。
4)集体批改——同伴批改修订——形成二稿——展示学生互评后,老师抽样与全班同学一起点评,指导学生如何批改,学生从中也学会了怎样写好作文(如何找到作文的错误的地方或不足点,同时也要找到该作品的亮点)。

互相批改是个省时省力的方法,但前提是老师先教学生基本的批改方法。
还有,老师不能把所有的工作由学生自己负责,在学生批改后,要进一步检查。
