①祈使句,表达说话人对对方的叮嘱、劝告、希望、禁止、请求或命令等。
祈使句一般以动词原形开头,无时态和数的变化,句末用句号或感叹号,用降调。
②祈使句有三种类型:含第二人称主语的祈使句a.当祈使的对象是第二人称you时称为含第二人称主语的祈使句。
这时,主语you通常会省略,谓语动词用原形。
有时在句首或句末加please,还可加上称呼语,用逗号与句子主体隔开。
如:Please be quiet,boys!孩子们,请安静!如果要加强语气,可在动词前加do。
如:Do keep away from the fire!切记远离火种!b.否定式在谓语动词前加Don't或Do not,强调否定式则在动词前加Never。

下面我们总结一下:1.)No+v.-ing!这是一种比较常用的表达方式。
如:No smoking! 不许吸烟!No joking! 不要开玩笑!2)祈使句否定的祈使句同样可以用来表示“禁止”。
如:Don’t shout.不要喊叫。
Don’t make any noise.不要吵闹。
3)You mu stn’t…情态动词mustn’t 可以表达“禁止”的概念。
如:You mustn’t take photo graphs of the exhibits in museums.博物馆中不得给展品拍照。
You mustn’t tel l it to anyone.你决不可以告诉任何人。
4)You can’t…can’t 可以表示“能力”、“可能性”,也可以表示“不允许”。
因此可以用来制止某人做某事。
如:In most museums y ou can’t make any noise.在大多数博物馆里不能吵闹。
5)You aren’t allowed to…本句型用来制止对方做某事。
如:You are not allowed to touch the exhibits.不要触摸展品。

(1)或“”是一种常见的表达禁止做某事的方式,意思是“”,相当于“Don’t +动词原形”或“Y ou mustn’t+动词原形”。

No entry!禁止入内!.(2)against 用作介词,意思是“”,后跟名词、代词或动名词。
against的反义词是for。
如果要表示强烈反对用“strongly against”。

常用短语:(1)“compare with”表示“把……和……相比”,表示同类人或事物相比较,是指研究评判人与人之间、事物与事物之间相同或相异的程度;(2)“compare to 表示“比喻为……”,是指出两者之间的关系相似,常表示不同类人或事物相比作、比拟,意味着两种事物有共同之处。

主语为,表示主动意义。
如:I need to have a good rest. 我需要好好休息一下。
② need doing sth 意为“某事需要被做”。
主语为,用主动形式表示被动意义,相当于need to be done。
如:The bicycle needs repairing. 这辆自行车需要修理。
【注意】need也可用作情态动词,后跟动词原形,need无人称和数的变化。
通常只用于否定句或疑问句以及条件句、whether, hardly, nobody等连用。
如:Need he go so soon?他这么快就要走吗?He needn’t go. 他不必走。
If she wants anything, she need only ask. 她想要什麽, 只需说一声就行。
He wondered whether they need go there. 他不知道他们是否需要去那里。
Nobody need be afraid of catching the disease. 谁都不用害怕能得这种病。
注意:因need不能用于肯定句,因此肯定回答要用must。
