Step 1 Warm up

1. Enjoy a poem P5. What are these children like?

2. Revision: Teacher do the actions and let the Ss say the words.

( clever, nice shy, quiet…)

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1.Describe a student in the class. Let the students guess who she is.

Then let the students to describe their friend in the class.

2.出示parrot

T: What is parrot like?

Ss: He’s loud and he’s very very naughty.

T: What’s he like in our story? Let’s watch the video.引出课文。

3.教授helpful

Who is helpful in our class?

4. What’s the matter with the little girl, let’s watch again. 2 Ss: Because this little girl can’t do her Maths.

（一）复习

复习数字，并能用简单的英语运算加法题。

（二）导入

What’s …and …?的另一种表达方法是“What’s… plus…?”小鹦鹉介绍自己：I’m helpful. 教授生词helpful ，并利用课件扩展careful/beautiful等形容词。

（三）新授

1、（1）使用鹦鹉头饰表演，到一个小女孩身边，帮助她做数学题。 展开对话。

（2）放录音，学生跟读、齐读。

（3）利用课件清晰讲解And one more?中的more（用在数词后，表“再、又”的意思）的用法。

（4）介绍学科单词Science、English、Chinese、Maths，并表演对话。

（5）学习chant ,链接And this little boy will cry.讲解will的用法。
