Lesson46 Home to Many Cultures教学设计教学目标:1.知识目标(knowledge Aims): Mastery words and expressions: although, respect, three percent, more than, half of, keep…alive;认识:immigrant,tolerate,dancer了解定语从句的初步用法。
2. 技能目标(Ability Aims):能掌握简单的听力策略,获取关键性信息;能通过略读和精读法,完成不同层次的阅读任务;能简单用所学英语表述自己的观点,培养综合语言应用能力。
3.情感态度和价值观(Emotion Aims):通过本课的学习,学会尊重不同的文化差异;培养学生对他人他物尊重,包容,互助的态度。
4.学习策略(Learning strategy)通过快读初步了解课文大意,自读理解文章主旨,图片资料和相关信息感受、体验,用目标语言讨论与交流信息与感悟。
教学步骤Step1. Lead-in(谈论即将到来的母亲节与刚刚过去的清明节体会中西方节日文化的差异,学生从服饰,语言,建筑,音乐等方面去谈论,教师出示图片进行补充。

Lesson 46 Home to Many Cultures说课稿一、说教材我上的这节课是2013年教育部审定的新教材九年级英语Unit8,Lesson 46 Home to Many Cultures, 这是一节阅读课,主要让学生了解加拿大有来自世界各地的移民,因此是一个多元文化国家,了解加拿大的官方语言,加拿大理解世界的方式是互相尊重,互相帮助,保持不同的语言、宗教和习俗有活力是很重要的。
教学目标:引导学生使用新单词,短语,语言点;通过提问帮助学生理解课文意思,使学生初步了解加拿大的基本情况,学会理解和接受不同的文化。
教学重点:了解加拿大多种文化产生的背景。
教学难点:掌握percent的用法;the rest 的用法;辨析alive, living, live和lively;the number of 和a number of 的用法。
二、说教法这节课我将用多媒体进行教学,主要通过看图片讨论引入,带问题听课文,给任务读课文,引导学生探究语言要点的用法,讲练结合等方法进行教学。
旨在教学生能阅读、会思考、学以致用、敢于表达、增强学英语的信心。
三、说学法本节课要求学生在课前预习单词和课文意思,预习学案部分重点内容;在课堂上通过讨论、听答、读答、小组合作、自学探究、当堂练习等方法掌握本课要点,在学习过程中体会学英语的乐趣。
四、说教学过程Step 1: Lead in by looking at the pictures and talking about the question.Step 2: Teach the new words and use the important words.Step 3: Listen to the tape and answer the two questions, then the teacher checks if their answers are right.Step 4: Let the students read the lesson in small groups and answer the four questions , then let four students answer one by one. Next , show them the right keys. Then read the questions and answers together.Step 5: Read again, Let the students find out the phrases in the text , and write them down on the blackboard. Next, check if they have mistakes. In the end, read the phrases together. Choose some important phrases to make new sentences.Step 6: Learn the language points by themselves, and finish the exercise .Step 7: Do “ Let’s Do It! ”No. 1 and No. 2 ,then show them the right answers , sum up what they have learned.Step 8: Homework:➢Use the phrases to make sentences.➢Finish off the practicing plan➢Preview next lesson.五、课堂预测由于课文比较复杂,知识容量较大,学生如果没有认真预习,在课堂上耽搁时间就会较多,可能导致练案没有时间完成。
