Be the change, you want to see the world
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Glad to see you again and thank you for giving me such a chance to stand here. On behalf of my dear sisters of Xinwendalou, it’s really my great honor to present the speech.
Every of us has a dream, ever or future, big or small, national or individual. The world has been changing because of our human being’s dreams. We dreamt of flying, then the airplane was invented by the wright brothers; we pursued human’s rights, then the racial discrimination was cancelled gradually; we were longing for a affulent society, then it came true. Even the animals have dreams. Once there was a story about an ugly duckling, in spite of difficulties, he managed to be what he wanted instead of giving up. The examples are countless, but one point is clear, changes work when dreams are put into practice.
Dear colleagues, you must have your own dream. May be it is hard to change the whole world by yourself, but if our wills unite like a fortress, then we can see a different world. As a member of Leisure English, our dream is the same, that is to make Leisure English different, to make it better. So Let’s do from ourselves, from the little things around. In Xwendalou, every morning, we have a short meeting, then we can know clearly what we will do the whole day; before our class, we prepare our lessons again and again; In order to create a good relationship with children’s parent, we provide many wanys to communicate with them, such as sending messangs, making telephone calls, having wei chat and so on. For our kids, to cteate a unique class, we decorate our classrooms, make birthday trees for them. Besides, members of Leisure English are always ready to help those in need. Since all of us have put our dreams into practice, we will make Leisure English not only a place to learn but a place to change the educational world. We are on the way, and we can do it.
