2012, science or superstition
2012，the end of time , science or superstition? Everyone has his own opinion and own feelings. As for me, I had thought that it is completely ridiculous and our world will never perish absolutely. But after watching the movie called “2012,science or superstition”, I have really learned a lot and I need to change my view of 2012 before.As a matter off act ,whether the prediction of 2012 is true or false, we can not take it as a joke.
2012 is an Ancient Mayan prophecy which tells us our time will come to an end at the date of Dec.21st, 2012. On that day, everything including human will be totally destroyed, and the earth will enter to a recovery stage. All the things on the earth will restart and a Golden Age is around the corner. In the dictionary of Mayan, time is traveling in circles not in lines. So the ruination means rebirth. Nowadays many scientists are doing some research about this prediction and they have already collected some evidence to support this prediction. Maybe it sounds very unbelievable, but it really has some influence on our human. Whether it will come true or not, there is no denying that our human begin to reflect our behaviour to the nature and resolve differences between each other to prevent the crisis hand in hand. I’m very happy to see that. In the few centuries, with the development of industry and population, human have destroyed the nature badly and a great number of disasters were brought along. The sky is never blue ,the river is never clear and the species is no longer rich.
What a pity! If this situation is going on, maybe not 2012 or some other time in the future ,our earth will sure be ruined. The Mayan’s prediction is more like an alarm which tells us that we should stop demanding endless to the nature. If we don’t want to see “2012” really coming ,we should take measures and change the way we move forward. The advance of the human civilizations should not be on the cost of sacrificing the environment. We should stick to the scientific concept of development so that building the harmony between human and nature. Only in this way can we prevent 2012 coming and make the human society thriving and prosperous on the earth forever!
In a word, you don’t have to believe in 2012’s prediction will come true to believe the warning to human behind it. So we should not only know 2012 or just waiting for it coming, but we also need to take it seriously and change ourselves so as to control our own destiny firmly!。
