Other、the other、another、else
1.other可作形容词或代词，做形容词时，意思是“别的，其他”，泛指“其他的（人或物）”。如：Do you have any other question(s)? 你还有其他问题吗？
Ask some other people. 问问别人吧！
Put it in your other hand. 把它放在你另一只手里。
2.the other指两个人或物中的一个时，只能用the other，不能用another，此时的other作代词。
如：He has two daughters. One is a nurse, the other is a worker. 他有两个女儿，一个是护士，另一个是工人。
the other后可加单数名词，也可加复数名词，此时的other作形容词。
如：On the other side of the street，there is a tall tree. 在街道的另一边，有一棵大树。Mary is much taller than the other girls. 玛丽比其他的女孩高得多。
He lives on the other side of the river. 他住在河的对岸。
3.another=an other，既可作形容词，也可作代词，只能用于三个或更多的人或物，泛指同类事物中的三者或三者以上的“另一个”，只能代替或修饰单数可数名词。
如：I don’t like this one. Please show me another. 我不喜欢这一个，请给我看看另一个。
I have three daughters. One is a nurse, another is a teacher and another is a worker. 我有三个女儿。一个是护士，另一个是教师，还有一个是工人
4. else一般修饰疑问词和不定代词，而且必须后置
如：What else do you want?
Anything else can you do?
Anytime、any time
anytime是副词，any time 是短语，anytime表示任何时候，any time 也是一个意思，但是要注意，anytime不可以接任何词，单独使用，通常放在句首或句尾，any time 中间可以加别的词，比如any other time 其他任何时间，所以说两个词是可以互换使用的，像你这句用any time 可以是If i don't want to work, I can quit at any time.用anytime是If i don't want to work,I can go away anytime.
any time
随时,在任何时候; 用在句尾,是一个形容词加名词，可以中间加词使用，any time中的time 是名词。
1、Any of us can suffer setbacks at any time.
我们中的任何人都可以在任何时候遇到挫折.
2、I didn't have any time to grieve.
我没有时间伤心。
3、But don 't mistake those statistics for an argument that prices are likely to rise any time soon.

any times：任意次数,任意时期.侧重于广义上的时间,例如表示时期、时代
anytime
adv.任何时候; 总是; 无例外地; 在任何时候;永在剧中。anytime 是副词，做状语，可置于
句首，句中，句尾，单独使用。
1、But europe's hegemony seems unlikely to end anytime soon.
但是欧洲的主导似乎不会在短时间内结束.
2、Make it anytime that suits you.i'm always free .
我无所谓，就你的时间吧。
3、I can do better than that anytime .
我一定会做得比这还好（如果去做的话）。

any thing、anything
any thing 是一个词组意为一些东西由于any用于否定句和疑问句,所以这个词组也只能用到否定句和疑问句中肯定句要用some thing
anything是代词意为任何事
any things是一个形容词+名词的结构
没有anythings
some things,something,sonethings,something
没有some thing和somethings这样的东西~
something是某物,某些,的意思；是不定代词
some things是“一些东西”的意思
例如
I want to buy you some things.
我想给你买点东西
There is something to eat.
这有些吃得东西（不知道是什么东西）
