What Year Is It
1、教学目标
⑴ 知识与技能目标;
学习巩固十二生肖动物的名称及排位情况,能正确使用第一至第十二的序数词。
熟练运用句型:What is your year ? My year is the year of the …进行简单的对话。
⑵ 过程与方法目标:
通过游戏、听、说、读、练等方法培养学生的语感, 采用生动形象的动画故事,游戏,歌谣,激发学生听英语、说英语的兴趣。
⑶ 情感态度与价值观目标:
了解自己与家人朋友的生肖属相,培养爱护小动物的意识,并能在活动中感受英语学习的乐趣。
2、学情分析
本节课是冀教版小学英语五年级上册第四单元中的第三课,以学生喜闻乐见的“生肖”为话题。要求学生学会用英语谈论自己及家人朋友的生肖属相。这节课的内容由词汇,对话,练习,三部分构成。学习内容丰富,贴近生活,色彩鲜明的图片与词汇配对,使学生更易理解,其内容在教材中占有重要地位,为后面学习谈论中国文化奠定了基础。
五年级学生对十二生肖有一定的了解,以前也学习了十二生肖中的大部分动物,对一些基本的句型也能够了解和掌握,能够在教师指令下参加一些活动,对直观生动的东西充满兴趣。
根据学生的年龄特点,本节课我主要采用生动形象的动画故事,游戏,歌谣,调动学生学习的积极性。让学生在听、说、玩、读、说、猜、做中愉快的学习,活化语境,倡导人人参与,大胆实践,通过同桌及小组活动、讨论、合作等方式,让学生在真实的语境中,交际互动,突出“语言是用来做事的”思想,使“言语”能力的提升成为了可能。在教学中突出“四位一体”即把师、生、文本以及生活,相结合,突出师生互动一体化,教材与生活一体化。既培养了学生开拓创新的精神,又真正地提高了学生运用语言的能力。
3、重点难点 重点：十二生肖动物的名称及排位,1-12的序数词。

4、讲解单词year , 可数名词,意为“年”,复数为years.
如:There are twelve months in a year .
