The Importance of True Friendship

Friendships are one of the most valuable things we can have

in life. While family is incredibly important, friends are the people

we choose to have in our lives. They are the ones who

understand us on a different level, who support us through thick

and thin, and who make our lives more enjoyable and

meaningful. However, not all friendships are created equal. There

is a big difference between surface-level friends and true friends

My Summer Vacation Adventure!

Yay, summer vacation was finally here! No more waking up

super early or doing piles of homework. Just fun, fun, fun for two

whole months! I couldn't wait to tell you all about the awesome

adventure I had this summer.

It all started when my parents surprised me and my little

brother Charlie by saying we were going on a big road trip across

the country! We've never taken a long car ride like that before.

Mom and Dad loaded up our minivan with lots of snacks, games,

and pillows to make the drive more fun.

Our first stop was the Grand Canyon in Arizona. When we

pulled up and I saw that huge, wide canyon for the first time my

mouth dropped open. "Whooooaaaaa!" I said out loud. We went

My Favorite Season: Summer Vacation

Summer vacation is finally here! It's my absolute favorite

time of the year. No more waking up super early, no more

homework, and no more teachers nagging me about this or that.

For two whole months, I'm free to do whatever I want!

The best part about summer is that I get to sleep in as late as

I want. During the school year, my mom is always yelling at me to

get out of bed by 7 AM. But in summer, I can sleep until noon if I

feel like it. Sometimes I even stay up until midnight playing video

games or watching movies. My parents can't really get too mad

because it's vacation!

Speaking of video games, that's definitely how I spend a lot

of my summer. I've got this really cool multiplayer game where I

can team up with friends online and go on adventures together.

Hi there! My name's Tyler and I just started 8th grade a few

weeks ago. I had such an amazing summer though, I can't wait to

tell you all about it!

After what felt like the longest school year ever, summer
