2 General Description Messrs. Reis Robotics can only maintain their guarantee for a robot system if
the prescribed maintenances have been performed on time.
In order to maintain guaranteeing, the RSV will assist the customer by
displaying a message on the operating panel (PHG) referring to the
maintenance due.
3 Target group Maintenance staff
4 Safety instructions Modifications of the machine data INEXT_MAINTENANCE are only possible in user level 4. Since 4 safety relevant machine data and programs may be
changed in operator level 4, too, please pay attention to leave level 4 again
after modification of INEXT_MAINTENANCE in order to protect the control
against modifications by non-authorized staff.
5 Prerequisites: Hardware and
Software Control RSV-PCX as of version 17.0
6 Installation/Configuration The maintenance interval is configured by means of the machine data
INEXT_MAINTENANCE. This machine data will include the next maintenance
date in the form YYMMDD (Y = year, M = month and d = day). If next maintenance is to be performed e.g. on October 28, 2006 the value 061028 has
to be entered as decimal number. With INEXT_MAINTENANCE = 0 the time measurement is switched off.
7 Operation The control will cyclically compare the date entered in INEXT_MAINTENANCE
with the current date (of the real-time clock). If the condition:
Current date >= date from INEXT_MAINTENANCE
is fulfilled the control will give the message:
“Maintenance required, inform the Reis Robotics customer
service.”
This message will not influence the normal production operation and may be acknowledged. As of the first given message this message will be repeated
every eight hours and with every new start of the RSV. In addition, in the status window the note: “Maintenance required” can be seen.
After maintenance performance the machine data INEXT_MAINTENANCE has
to be modified and the next maintenance date will be registered.
As already mentioned, this data modification can only be performed in
level 4!
For safety reasons there should be a logout after modification.
The newly set maintenance date has to be entered in the data management.
