初中英语形容词比较级和最高级

形容词或副词常见的几个比较级句型：

1：比较级+than

Eg:This cake is more delicious than that one

2:倍数+比较级+than

Eg:This garden is 9 times larger than that one.

3：the+比较级；the +比较级“越.....;越.....”

Eg:The more , the better.

The more you eat, the fatter you will be.

4：比较级+比较级“越来越.......”

Eg: It is getting colder and colder.

5: the+比较级+of the two

Eg:Amy is the shorter of the two.

最高级句型：

1：one of the+最高级+名词复数“最.....之一”

Eg: Shanghai is one of the largest citiesin China.

2:the+序数词+最高级+单数名词+in短语“在……中是第几个……”Eg: China is

the third largest country in the world.

3:any other +可数名词单数表示最高级,all (the) other+可数名词复数Eg: He is

taller than the other boys.

He is taller than any other boy.

注意：形容词最高级前一般要加定冠词the;副词最高级前的the可省略。

如：the best; the most beautiful.

A little, a lot, much, even可以加到比较级前来表示程度。

eg：My dress is much more beautiful than yours.
