克服指读、回视、重读等不良习惯，因为这样容易使理 解只停留在某个词语或句子上，使获得的信息支离破碎。要 善于抓住句子的核心词，从一个句子快速扫视到另一个句 子，进行连贯性理解。
在关键词处做标记，便于查找信息。尤其是在解答一些 细节理解题时，这种方法更实用。
阅读理解是高考试卷中的重头戏，要想在这一项上得到 理想的成绩，我们在解题时应该注意以下几点：
(1)带着问题抓关键词语 在做阅读理解题时，首先我们可阅读题干，先从问题中 抓住关键性词语(题眼)，然后以此为线索，运用略读及查读 的技巧快速在文章中寻找与此问题相关的段落、语句，仔细 品味选定的部分，对照比较，确定答案。
(4)根据上下文猜测词义
猜词是灵活应用英语的重要能力，也是高考中的常考题 型。考生不但要准确无误地理解上下文，而且要有较大的词 汇量，掌握或认识较多的课外词汇，还要学会“顺藤摸瓜”， 通过构词法、语法、定义、同位语、对比、因果、常识、上 下文等线索确定词义。

主旨大意是文章的核心，包括对title, main idea或 者main purpose的判断选择，也会以“mainly tell about” 一类的形式出现。做这类题时，仔细阅读文章或段落 的首尾句是关键。多采用浏览法，一般不需逐句细读， 只选读文章的首段、尾段，或每段的首句和尾句，重 点搜索主题线索和主题信息。但是当讲述一个故事时， 则要抓住每段文字的关键句。

The day was cold and stormy, but Anderson still wanted to see the sights, so she jumped aboard a streetcar. Noticing that the driver was struggling to see through the snow covering the windshield, she found herself wondering why there couldn't be a builtin device for cleaning the window. Still wondering about this when she returned home to Birmingham, Alabama, Anderson started drafting out solutions.
