一教材分析
1.教材的地位和作用
本单元的主要内容是万圣节的风俗习惯,并在各个部分涉及和渗透其他中西方重要节日的特色。
以万圣节和其他重要节日为依托,兼顾听说读写,训练学生表述重要节日的特征和习惯的语言能力。
我所选择的Reading部分是整个单元的主体部分.在通过Comic strip 和Welcome to the unit的预热和铺垫引起学生的兴趣后,就正式进入到Reading部分的主体学习,讲述万圣节的风俗习惯和独特风情,对学生来说内容具有新鲜感,很有吸引力,有助于培养学生对中外文化的理解,提高学生对中外文化差异的鉴别能力。
培养了学生的世界文化意识,增强学生对民族文化的自豪感。
2. 教学目标
(1)听、说、读、写单词和短语
(2)能正确理解本课课文,就获取的信息进行相互询问及回答。
(3)能通过本课学习,对英语国家的文化习俗产生兴趣。
3.教学重点和难点
(1)生词和短语的正确读音。
(2)能通过阅读准确获取信息并能基本正确地朗读课文。
(3)能在教师的指导下,简单地复述故事。

二教学程序的设计
根据初一学生的特点,让学生先预习Reading部分的生词和课文,在预习的过程中,由于中西方文化的差异,学生对于西方节日Halloween充满好奇、兴奋和向往,老师在课堂上准备录音机﹑磁带﹑课件﹑图片﹑一些糖和巧克力,在教学过程中适当模拟一些万圣节的情景来活跃课堂气氛,更好的让学生掌握文章的内容和知识点。
三教学步骤
Step 1 Revision
通过播放Welcome to the unit部分的幻灯片复习上节课所接触的中西方的节日和习俗。
Step 2 Presentation
在复习过程中,将Halloween的图片最后显示,从而导出Halloween的话题。
(4分钟)
Step 3 A game
1.播放录音,让学生仔细听,捕捉与Halloween 有关的关键词。
2.将全班分为四大组,开展小组竞赛,运用自己在预习过程和听录音过程中掌握的词汇知识尽可能多的在规定时间内在黑板上写出与Halloween有关的关键词,获胜的小组得到糖果奖励。
注:这个游戏可以对学生课前预习的认真程度进行检查,长此以往,有助于帮助学生形成良好的学习习惯。
(5分钟)Step 4 Practice
1.对学生列举的单词和词组进行领读并做适当的解释。
2.给学生一定的时间对这些单词和词组进行巩固。
这样就能照顾到接受能力较差的学生,使全班每个学生都可以尽可能的利用课堂上的时间掌握新知识。

1.先朗读课本42页Part B2部分的5个句子。
2.再一次播放录音并根据录音判断句子的正误。
3.检查答案,说明理由。

我布置这些作业的依据是紧扣教学目标,对学生在课堂上的学习内容进行巩固,同时也加强了学生写作能力的训练。
新课标指出:写作需有明确的动机和积极的态度,写作的题目应结合学生的实际需要,是他们具有写作的愿望这样他们才能了与写作才能重返自己的思维能力,而不是为了应付教师而做的作业。
所以我对作业的布置是符合新课标的要求的。
