教材分析Comic strip &Welcome to the unit是本单元的第一课时,Comic strip部分通过Eddie喜欢的体育运动从而引出本单元的话题----我最喜欢的体育运动;Welcome to the unit通过学习跟体育运动有关的名词,并了解阳光中学的六位选手分别喜欢什么样的体育运动,为后面谈论喜欢的体育运动的话题做准备。
教学目标:基础知识掌握词汇:walking , really , bowl , time , tennis , volleyball词组:go swimming句型:Do you often play football after school . I often play football after school.What about you ?Really ? I walk to my bowl many times a day .基本技能1.掌握常见的几种体育运动的名称;2. 使用适当的语言谈论体育运动。
综合素质在不同的语境下交流各种体育运动,并爱上体育运动。
教学重难点及突破重点:掌握常见的几种体育运动的名称。
难点:使用适当的语言谈论体育运动教学突破:让学生由谈论兴趣爱好进而转换到体育运动,简单向学生介绍各种体育运动,让学生明白体育运动对身体健康的好处,自然而然喜欢上体育运动。

Today we'll learn Unit 2 Let's play sports.2. Present and learn new words . Do you remember Millie, Sandy, Simon and Daniel? Who likes sports? Simon is good at sports. What about Amy? What sport is Amy good at? She is good at swimming. Look at Sandy and Millie. What sport are they good at? They are good at playing volleyball. They can play volleyball very well. Look at Kitty. She likes tennis very much. Step II Presentation(新授部分)1. Lead-in : Sports are good for us . Eddie also likes sports . Look, what's in Hobo's hand ? He has a football in his hand. I think he likes football very much. Do you think so ?But what about Eddie? What is his favorite sport? What sports does he like ?2. T: Now let's listen to Eddie and Hobo's dialogue and answer the above question : What sport does Eddie like/ Does Eddie really like walking? S: He likes walking .T: Does Eddie really like walking ? S: No. He walks to his bowl many times a day .3. Read after the tape and understand the comic strip .4. These two teams read Eddie's part and these two read Hobo's part , please .5.Work in pairs and read the dialogue between Eddie and Hobo . You can add your own ideas . 背景知识本单元主要学习各种体育运动,并介绍自己喜欢的运动项目及各自的运动习惯等。
在这一课时中,学生将通过Simon的介绍,认识一位足球运动员李华,了解他的个人信息及足球运动的知识。
世界杯(FIFA World Cup)是由国际足球联合会统一领导和组织的世界性的足球比赛,每四年举行一次。
它是世界上规模最大、影响最大、水下最高的国家队足球比赛。
在世界杯比赛中,夺冠次数最多的足球队是巴西国家队,共夺得五次世界杯冠军。
教学步骤Step I 呈现1 与学生就“体育运动”进行交流,复习上节课内容。
教师说:I’d like to test your memory. What sport do Sandy and Millie often play? What sport does Kitty like? What about Simon? What about Amy? 鼓励学生回忆所学内容并回答:Sandy and Millie often play volleyball. Kitty likes tennis. Simon likes football. Amy is good at swimming.接着教师与学生就各自的真实信息进行交流。
