The theme of the part is “Describe a place that you like”.
This lesson aims at imitating describing a place after reading the text. It is known that Ireland is famous for its beautiful countryside scenery and its history. During the text, the author describes the beauty
and traditions from a perspective of a traveler. The author describes the countryside scenery of Ireland like the landscape, the roar of the ocean waves and the cries of seabirds, the sun and a sweet scent of fresh
flowers from the sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch, which gives the readers a direct image. The author
describes the beautiful scenery with a rich and sensitive writing method which makes the scenery lively. Most importantly, the author expresses the love for the countryside scenery of Ireland.

This section designs a combination of reading and writing activities, the theme is "writing blog post".
When we surf the Internet, we often don't know who the other person is. We may be cheated or attacked
personally. When we click the website link, the virus may take the opportunity to invade and destroy our
computer and the important information stored in it. These injuries or losses, no matter how big or small,
no matter how long or how long, are unpleasant experiences and should be avoided as much as possible.
Learning how to surf the Internet safely is a necessary skill for every netizen, especially for the
inexperienced teenagers.
The text is a blog article. The author puts forward three suggestions for safe access to the Internet. The
main idea is clear; the structure is complete and concise. Blog articles usually have two sections --- one is

Content analysis
The main content of this section is to “to write an email about travel
plan” and familiarize students with the major points it contains.
The text in Activity 1 is an email about a travel plan. In Activity 2,
students will focus on the organization of the email.They will notice the
structure of an email, which includes “Email Address, Greeting, Body,
Close and Signature” as illustrated clearly in the textbook. They will also
understand how to organize the information logically and express their
emotions accurately. In Activity 3, a complete writing process of a travel
plan is provided, which includes identifying the writing purpose, drafting
a travel plan, revising the email and finally completing the writing. In
Activity 4, students will be asked to present their assignments in class.
