一、教案背景

1、面向学生:中学

2、学科:八年级上册

3、课时:Module 3 Sports Unit 2

4、学生课前准备:

①小组内相互预习新单词

②各小组派代表讨论自己喜欢的奥运明星。

③利用网络资源收集最新赛事及有关体育明星的最新消息,能将自己收集的信息与其他同学共享。

二、教学目标

1. To skim the text on sports and understand its main idea;

2. To be able to describe sports and games, using the comparative forms of adjectives

and adverbs;

3. To make comparisons with given information.

三、教材分析

大多数学生都喜欢运动,因此在教授本模块时,教师要充分了解学生的运动爱

好,然后组织教学。此外,要利用该主题的教学契机,让学生了解并谈论自己喜爱

的运动,尽量多使用形容词的比较级发表不同的观点。

教学重点:

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1. T: Do you like watching the Olympics?

How many Olympic champions do you know?

2. After finishing the questions, do a guessing game. Guess what the sports are or

who the athletes are.

设计意图:通过问题及游戏引出新课,为学习生词奠定基础。

Step 2 Learn the new words.

1. Use the pictures to show the new words.

2. Try to use the comparatives when they are learning the new words.

设计意图:学生词时尽量用上比较级,对新知识的复习,检查学生掌握程度。

Step 3 Reading and vocabulary.

1. Describe the two pictures with their own words.

2. Use the words in the box to help them.

设计意图:此环节是对前两个环节的提升,让学生自己表述,对掌握较差的同学及时纠错,对掌握好的同学,教师可通过表扬提高学生学习兴趣。

Step 4 Listen and answer.

1. T: Do you like playing football? Do you want to be a member of our school team?

2. Listen and answer the questions:

Where will Daming go?

It’s difficult to practice in winter. Why?

设计意图:听、回答问题可以对文章进行整体把握,提高听力水平。

Step 5 Read and do the true or false questions.

1. Daming will go to school to have lessons.

2. They are training harder than usual.

3. The other team beat them last year.

4. Their coach isn’t pleased because they are playing worse.

5. It’s good to have fans around.

设计意图:读后判断对错检查学生对文章细节的把握,有效提高学生的阅读理解水平。

Step 6 Read again and complete the table.

1. Read the text aloud and find the difficulties you don’t understand.

2. Finish the table after the text.

设计意图:读后填表再次检验学生对文章的理解,对复述文章打好基础。

Step 7 Language notes.

1. Ask the students to say the difficulties they don’t understand.

2. Explain them and show some important expressions.

设计意图:学生提问,老师解答,最后老师进行补充,学生记忆深刻,也体现了以学生为主体。

八年级-英语-打印版 设计意图:有针对性的练习是必不可少的,在平时练习中多见中考题可以增加学生的知识储备,应对中考,游刃有余。

Step 9 Writing task. (retell the text)

1. Complete the sentences so they are true for your school basketball team.

The coach is pleased / is not pleased with them because…

So they now have a better / poor chance of…

设计意图:复述文章可以使学生对所学知识进行整合,有效提升。

Step 10 Homework.

Write a passage about your school basketball team.

设计意图:听说读写,落实到写可以检验学生对所学新知识的驾驭能力,教师可以从此环节了解学生的优势与弱点,找到我们将要努力的方向。

五、 教学反思

1、本单元课文以大明参加校足球队训练为主题,着重介绍了大明所在的校队积极备战今年的校际联赛的情况,主要呈现了形容词和副词比较级的表达形式。

2、这篇短文在文体上属于日记,但结尾处没有结论性的话语,是英语文章的一个特点。一般来说,英语文章会先作整体说明,最后直接结束文章,与中国学生把结论性话语放在文章结尾的方法有显著不同。

3、如果在教学中多设计一些活动,动静结合,则可满足具有不同学习风格的学生的需求。
