第四课时 Section B(1a～1d)

【学习目标】

1．教会学生单词：haunted，ghost，trick，treat，spider

2．教会学生通过听力训练获取有效信息，引导学生通过对西方节日的学习，体会西方节日的乐趣。

3．通过学习，了解万圣节的相关庆祝活动。

通过交流表达和听力训练，引导学生通过对西方节日的了解，体会西方节日的乐趣。

☞学习提示

Do you know Halloween？Do you want to know how the kids have a Halloween?

Show some pictures about Halloween to attract students and make them know some things about Halloween.

☞学习提示 Preview the words on P13 by phonetic symbols，then mark new words and Chinese meaning.At last finish the tasks

in 1a.

【学法指导】

►treat

①作名词，意为“款待，招待，乐趣”。

②作动词，意为“对待，治疗，处理，款待”。treat sb./oneself to sth.让某人/自己享用。

Students read 1d，imitate 1d and have a dialogue practice about Halloween，then try to make a dialogue by

③dress sb./oneself意为“给某人/自己穿衣服(表动作)”。

【拓展】表“穿”的其他方式：

①put on＋衣服/首饰(表动作)。

②wear＋衣服/首饰(表状态)。

③be in＋衣服/颜色(表状态)。

【备注】 “Trick or treat” means kids will pay a trick on you if you don't give them a treat.“不招待就使坏”意思是如果你不好好招待那些小孩，他们会对你做恶作剧。

教材分析

本节课的教学内容是人教版新目标初中英语第八册(下册)第九单元的第四课时,即Section B 1a-1d.本单元核心教学内容是以去过的有趣的地方为题材,学习如何谈论过去的经历, 谈论曾经去过的地方。其语法项目主要是学习现在完成时的用法。该时态是初中英语教学大纲中要求学生掌握的一个主要时态之一。而在这之前，学生已经学习了一般过去时态。这个时态与现在完成时既有联系又有区别。因此，学生是否能够准确运用这个时态表达自己的思想，既可对前面学过的一般过去时做一个检测，又可对学生后面学习完本单元内容及往后进一步学习过去完成时做一个良好的铺垫。

学情分析

学生已经在第8单元学过现在完成时态，已经掌握了现在完成时态的基本用法，所以本节课的内容学生易于接受。在本节课里我主要引导学生以小组为单位进行合作学习，共同完成任务。此外，引导学生通过观察、比较、分析，自己主动发现、探究，找出一般过去时与现在完成时之间的区别与联系，从而突破难点。这样的学法指导，符合新课程所倡导的培养学生合作学习、探究的学习方式。

通过本单元的学习使学生学会谈论物品的归属及神秘事件，掌握教材所呈现的与本话题相关的单词和情态动词进行推断的用法，培养运用目标语言进行听、说、读、写等技能。
