TYPES
Polymer Stent
The compatibility between the polymer stent and the vessel wall is better than that of the metal stent, which can avoid late-stage intimal proliferation, especially the degradable polymer stent. The biodegradable substance is gradually degraded in the body through a hydrolysis reaction, and the mechanical support is completed. After the action, it degrades into non-toxic products and is excreted through the respiratory system and urinary system.

TYPES
Metal Stent
Clinical application of metal stents has achieved remarkable results, but it can easily lead to thrombosis, high restenosis rate, resulting in damage to the vessel wall. In response to the above deficiencies, a stent graft and a biological material stent have been developed. The ideal metal stent should be consistent with the repair time of vascular function. Magnesium-based alloys and iron-based alloys can be degraded, and have good vascular support, effectively reducing stent restenosis.
