按国际照明委员会(CIE)推荐的灯具分类(室内照明)根据国际照明委员会(CIE)的建议,灯具按照光通量在上下空间分布的比例分为五类:直接型、半直接型、全漫射型(包含水平方向光线很少的直接—间接型)、半间接型和间接型。
(1)直接型灯具(direct lighting luminaire)此类灯具绝大部分光通量(90-100%)直接投照下方,所以灯具的光通量的利用率最高。
(2)半直接型灯具(simi-direct lighting luminaire)这类灯具大部分光通量(60-90%射向下半球空间,少部分射向上方,射向上方的分量将减少照明环境所产生的阴影的硬度并改善其各表面的亮度比。
(3)漫射型或直接—间接型灯具(diffused lighting luminaire)灯具向上向下的光通量几乎相同(各占40%-60%)最常见的是乳白玻璃球形灯罩,其他各种漫射透光的封闭灯罩也有类似的配光。
这种灯具将光线均匀的投向四面八方,因此光通利用率较低。
(4)半间接灯具(simi-indirect lighting luminaire)灯具向下光通占10%-40%,他的向下分量往往只用来产生与天棚相称的亮度,此分量过多或分配不适当也会直接或间接眩光等一些缺陷。
上面敞口的半透明罩属于这一类,他们主要作为建筑装饰照明,由于大部分光线投向顶棚和上部墙面,增加了室内的间接光,光线更为柔和宜人。
(5)间接灯具(indirect lighting luminaire)灯具的小部分光通(10%以下)向下。
设计的好时,全部天棚成为一个照明光源,达到柔和无阴影的照明效果,由于灯具下光通很少,只要布置合理,直接眩光与反射炫光都很小。
此类灯具的光通利用率比前面四种都低。
