近年来,西方心理学工作者对个体的羞怯问题进行了探讨,结果发现个体羞怯反应可以表现在认知、情绪等不同的方面,并且与人际情境觉察能力存在密切关系。
具体而言,高羞怯个体一般谈话缺乏自信,对社交能力的自我评定较低,并且还会导致更多的消极情绪。
鉴于有研究者提出羞怯存在文化差异,需要在中国文化背景下对羞怯问题进行研究。
又因为大学生正处于吸收大量专业知识,获取专业技能,为走向社会做准备的关键阶段,羞怯心理会给他们的学习、交友和职业规划、找工作等带来很大的影响。
因此,本文以中国在校大学生为被试进行了实证研究。
通过研究,得出我国大学生在中国文化背景下的羞怯问题的一致性和差异性。
本研究以山东省三所高校的379名大学生为研究对象,使用《大学生羞怯量表》、《社会支持评定量表》、《个人评价问卷》和《大学生社交效能感问卷》分别测试被试的羞怯水平、社会支持程度、自我评价特点和社交效能感状况,利用线性回归的方法,考察了我国大学生羞怯与社会支持、自我评价、社交效能感的关系。
研究结果如下:l大学生在自责、对拒绝的恐惧和羞怯总分上存在显著的年级差异,表现为大二学生得分显著高于大一学生;独生子女、非独生子女在自责维度上存在显著差异:独生子女的得分显著低于非独生子女;男、女大学生在羞怯及其各维度上不存在显著的差异。
