翻译实习总结

这次的翻译实习对我来说是次绝佳的挑战。首先，与之前做的翻译作业相比，这次翻译任务相当艰巨，让我第一次全身心的严肃认真对待翻译。其次，这次翻译让我了解到跨文化交际这个新的领域, 在翻译的过程也增进了对这个新领域的了解;再次, 这次的翻译实习给了我一次把课堂所学的翻译理论应用于实践中的机会，在不但的比较，推敲，衡量，找到最佳字词句的过程中，我也慢慢领悟到翻译的真谛。最后，这次翻译实习也上次难得的经历，进一步锻炼我的翻译水平，今后的笔译和口译的深造铺砖添瓦。

这次翻译实习让我对如何做好翻译，如何提高翻译水平有了更加深刻的理解和感悟。首先，必须真正理解所要翻译的材料；其次，用“忠实而通顺”地传达原作内容。最后，审校译文。由于初次接触到医疗环境中跨文化交际的话题，初读原文时一头雾水，不知所措，也无从下笔。而无法理解原文的内容自然也就无法表达。于是我在网上查看了中文英文的背景资料后，再重新阅读原文。第一遍，掌握文章大意，对一些疑难词句作上记号；第二遍细读原文，逐词逐句逐段地自习研究，解决疑难问题；第三编通读原文，将全文精神“融汇于心”。因此，要理解原文，不仅要准确透彻地理解所译的文本，而且还在文本之外下功夫，既要掌握文本的背景知识，以及与文本有关的各种专门知识。第二步是表达，翻译的一般标准是“信雅达”，但针对此次文章的文体，可能把“忠实而通顺”作为翻译标准更加合适。为了完成“忠实而通顺”地转达原作内容，就要正确处理忠实与通顺的关系。忠实与通顺，本事一个矛盾同意体的两个方面，在表达的过程必须“统筹兼顾”，一方面要准确，精当地转达原文的意义，另一方面又要是译文通达晓畅，符合规范，不可顾此失彼，或者重此轻彼。最后，在对译文做审校，第一遍，对照原文，我发现了一些漏译，误译的地方。第二遍，脱离原文，检查出一些生硬拗口的地方，还有些标点，断句方面的错误。

通过这次翻译实习也让我认识到想要成为一名合格的译者，第一，中文水平要高，要打下扎实的汉语基础，特别是要下工夫提高自己的汉语表达能力；第二，外文水平要高，特别是要具有很强的阅读理解和鉴赏能力；第三，知识面要广 ；第四。要熟悉并掌握基本的翻译技巧。在今后的英语学习中，我会更加严格要求自己，在这四个方面多下工夫，争取做一名合格的译者。

暑假翻译实习收获颇多。一直以来对翻译存在畏惧心理。文化背景、生词、中英语言差异往往给翻译造成困难。但是，借助这次翻译实习，我明白翻译能力的提高不是一蹴而就的。要提高翻译能力，需要持之以恒地练习。

翻译实习作业内容涉及文化、科技、经济、社会、政治五大方面，题材丰富，趣味性强。翻译不同内容所得到的收获感悟也是不同的。翻译内容相继为英国王室传统婚礼礼仪、多媒体计算机技术、虚拟现实、债券、日本福岛核电站2号反应堆爆炸及《西藏文化的保护与发展》白皮书。

我对文化板块的英国王室传统婚礼的兴趣最浓。英国王室婚礼礼仪介绍是以英国威廉王子大婚为背景。为了在理解的基础上顺利地翻译原文，我查阅了威廉大婚流程介绍、英国王室历史人物、人物王室封号等，理性了查尔斯王储、戴安娜王妃、卡米拉、威廉王子、哈里王子等人物关系，了解了威斯敏斯特教堂丰厚的历史文化沉淀。威廉王子婚礼安排无处不表达着对母亲戴安娜王妃深切的思念。在兴趣之余，我学习了查尔斯〃斯宾塞在葬礼上对姐姐戴安娜王妃的致辞A

Tribute to Diana,感受到戴安娜王妃个人无限魅力与高尚品质。同时，我掌握了单身派对、伴娘、伴郎、狗仔队等实用词汇。

至于多媒体计算机技术翻译，明显感觉自己对于计算机常识及计算机英语的了解不足，特别是关于乐器数字接口介绍。有关债券的翻译，也让自己有一定的收获。一方面，我了解了债券发行目的、信贷 评级与公司贷款成本之间的关系。另一方面，我也获得一个启示

在遇到困惑的地方要查阅资料，不能想当然地翻译。例如，文中出现一次“principle”时，我起初将它翻译为最常见的“原则”意思，可待整个段落译完，发现不合句意。借助字典才知道其为“本金”意思。类似情况还有“Standard and Poor’s and Moody’s Investors

Service ” 应译为 “标准普尔及穆迪信用评级机构”，而不是简单地将“poor ”、“ moody”形容词的词义译出。再者，关于日本核电站的翻译，因为原文为一则新闻报道，译文的玉雅应力求简洁，这让我了解到不同体裁的文体风格也应有所变化，而自己在译文简洁与内容的完整性方面有时做不到协调统一。最后一篇是中央人民政府关于西藏文化保护与发展政策，内容易懂，但在翻译过程中明显感到中英句法差异，即英语语句句型多变，结构复杂，多用复句，而汉语多为小句。同时，还学到了各种关于法律规章的表达法，如关于什么的暂行条例，应用到“interim provisions on something”.这次实习锻炼了自己的翻译能力，增添了自信心及成就感。在以后学习生活中，我会继续扩大知识面，扩充词汇量，不断加强翻译练习，提高英语综合能力。

For college students, internship is a bridge which leads them

to step into the society.It helps the students contact with the

community, understand it and be close to the society

earlier.Practice, in other words, is to study in practice.And it is

known that knowledge comes from practice, and will be used in

practice.As for me, with nearly one months’ work during which

I have the chance to put the theory into the practice, I got a deep

understanding of translation and some other professional skills

requires.Above all, this internship experience has strengthened

my ability in all aspects.In addition, it helps me understand the

truth of “Be a good man before you do something” I’m sure these will be a valuable asset in my future work and social

interaction.I was very happy to have this kind of internship.In my

the time of translation internship, I get not only the translation

skills but also several ideas and important knowledge which can
