The years spent at university have been transformative and have provided me with invaluable knowledge and skills. I cannot thank you enough for your unwavering belief in me.The university experience has proven to be everything I expected and more. 1Dear Mom and Dad,Hi! It's me, your little munchkin! I'm writing to tell you all about my university life. I know I'm still just a kid, but I've heard so much about it from my older cousins and the movies that I feel like I'm already an expert!First off, let me tell you about the dorms. From what I've seen, they're like giant sleepover parties that never end! You get to live with your best friends, stay up late watching movies, and have pillow fights every night. The rooms are really fancy too, with bunk beds and posters of your favorite superheroes on the walls. I can't wait to decorate my side with all my stuffed animals! The classes sound like so much fun too. You get to learn about all sorts of cool stuff, like how to build rocket ships or talk to animals. And the professors are just like the fun aunties and uncles that give you candy instead of boring lectures. I'll make sure to raise my hand a lot so they keep picking me.But the best part has to be the food! I've heard they have these amazing all-you-can-eat buffets with every kind of food you can imagine. Pizza, ice cream, candy, you name it! No more yucky vegetables or having to eat what's on my plate. I'll finally be able to eat nothing but chicken nuggets and chocolate cake for every meal. It's a dream come true!Of course, there's also plenty of time for fun and games. The universities have huge playgrounds with slides, swings, and climbing frames. And every weekend, they screen all the latest cartoon movies and superhero flicks. Can you imagine?! Getting to watch new movies every single week? It's like living in a giant theater! And don't even get me started on the sports. You can play every game imaginable, from soccer and basketball to dodgeball and capture the flag. No more sitting on the bench either. Everyone gets to play and have fun, no matter how good or bad you are. I'm definitely signing up for every single team!Oh, and I almost forgot about the best part – no bedtimes or chores! You can stay up as late as you want, playing video games or running around outside. And there are workers there to clean up after you and do all the yucky chores like making your bed or washing the dishes. How cool is that?I know it sounds too good to be true, but that's really what university is like from what I've heard. Just one big, never-ending playground where you get to learn awesome things, eat whatever you want, and have fun all day long. No boring grown-up responsibilities at all!Of course, I'll still miss you guys like crazy. But don't worry, I'll make sure to come home every weekend to visit. Or maybe you can even come stay in the dorms with me sometimes! We can have pillow fights and eat ice cream for breakfast together. Wouldn't that be the best?Anyway, I better stop rambling now. I'm getting too excited just thinking about it all. Only a few more years until I'm off to university! I can't wait to experience it all for myself. Don't be sad though, okay? I'll always be your little munchkin, no matter where I go.Love you lots!XOXOXOYour name篇2Dear Mom and Dad,How are you both doing? I'm writing to tell you all about my life at college so far. It has been a really big change from living at home, but I am having a lot of fun and learning so much!My dorm room is pretty small, but I like it. I have my own little space that I can decorate however I want. My roommate John is really nice. He's from California and loves surfing and the beach. We get along great! The best part is we have our own bathroom just for the two of us, so we never have to wait. The dining halls have good food, but I do miss your amazing home-cooked meals. They have lots of choices like pizza, burgers, pasta, salads, and more. My favorite is the ice cream bar where you can get unlimited scoops and toppings! I probably eat a little too much ice cream. My classes are really interesting so far. Some of them are pretty hard, but I'm working really hard and going to all the study groups. My chemistry class has a lot of difficult concepts, but the professor is really smart and breaks everything down step-by-step. I'm taking an English class where we read classic novels and poems. It's cool to discuss the deeper meanings with my classmates.I've joined a few clubs too to meet new people. The hiking club goes on fun outdoor adventures every weekend. I'vealready been on three amazing hikes and seen some beautiful forests and waterfalls. I also joined the chess club, which is a good way to take a break from studying and exercise my brain in a different way.The campus is really pretty, especially in the fall when all the leaves are changing colors. There are lots of grassy areas perfect for tossing a frisbee or having a picnic. I try to spend some time outside every day, even if it's just walking between classes. The fresh air helps me concentrate better. One hard thing about college is being so far away from home. I do miss you guys a lot. But I'm making great new friends and keeping busy with activities. I call you every week to catch up, and I'll be coming home for the holidays before you know it!My first few months here have been a rollercoaster, filled with lots of newness, excitement, challenges, and growth. I'm becoming more independent and learning how to manage my time wisely between classes, homework, activities, and fun. It's all preparing me for the real world after graduation.I can't wait for you to visit campus soon so I can show you around! Let me know when you're able to make a trip. I'll give you the full grand tour, introduce you to my friends, and take you to the best restaurants and hangout spots nearby.Well, I have to run to my next class now. Thank you for all your love, support, and care packages from home! I miss you and love you very much. Hug the dog for me!Love,Your Child篇3Dear Mom and Dad,How are you doing back home? I miss you both so much! University life here is really exciting but also kind of confusing and hard sometimes. I wanted to tell you all about it.The campus here is huge! It's like a whole city just for students. There are massive buildings everywhere for the different colleges and libraries and sports stuff. My favorite is the big old library right in the middle - it has about a million books and looks like something from Harry Potter. I get lost constantly trying to find my classes in all the maze-like hallways and buildings. Good thing the food courts are awesome so I can stop for ice cream and recharge when I'm turned around! My classes are intense. The professors just fire off all these big intellectual thoughts and theories nonstop. Half the wordsthey use I've never heard before! I take a zillion notes trying to keep up but it's like drinking from a firehose. The readings are crazy long too, sometimes over 100 pages per class. My backpack weighs a ton. I have to use the big kid desks that have the swingy chairs attached. My legsdangle because they're so long! But I actually find a lot of the subject matter fascinating, especially the sciences. Like in biology, we learned all about how life itself works at the smallest levels. And in physics, we explored the forces that govern the entire universe! It blows my mind. The professors seem to really know their stuff too. My biology prof has done research in rainforests all over the world. I'll never forget when she brought in a stack of gigantic creepy-crawly insects to pass around - I may have screamed a little.I live in the dorms, which are decent enough I suppose. Kind of like a really big house with shared bathrooms and study areas on each floor. But my roommate Jesse snores like a chainsaw every night! No wonder I've been taking so many naps in the library. The dorm cafeteria isn't bad at least - everything from pizza to stir fry to ice cream bars. Just don't ask about the"mystery meat" nights. There's lots of fun stuff to do on campus besides studying at least. Every Friday night, the student center has amazing activities like outdoor movies, concert performances, or elementary school game nights (I dominated the last game of musical chairs!). On theweekends, there are always pickup games of soccer, volleyball, or frisbee going on. The rec center gym and pools are also a total blast. But it's not all just fun and games. I've discovered that juggling academics, campus activities, and basic life responsibilities like laundry and cleaning is pretty overwhelming sometimes. I've pulled a few all-nighters already trying to get everything done. No wonder everyone walks around squinting and chugging coffee! I've learned I need to plan my time a lot better.I've joined a few clubs too which has really helped me make friends andfelict more like part of the community. The science club is my favorite - we get to put on wacky demonstrations at departmental events and even judge science fairs. I've met some really interesting people from literally all over the world. My friend Fatima is teaching me some Arabic!Speaking of the world, I feel like my horizons have just cracked wide open here. Every day, I'm exposed to so manydiverse beliefs, cultures, and perspectives. Suddenly my little hometown feels so small and narrow in comparison. I used to think I had life mostly figured out, but now I realize there's just endless room to keep exploring and growing. It'sdaunting but also exciting!Well, I could ramble on forever, but I'd better wrap this up. College has been a whirlwind of new experiences -mind-bending but also mind-opening if that makes sense. It's challenging for sure, but I'm having a ton of fun and already feel myself maturing tremendously. I've got so muchmore to discover!I miss you and love you! Please come visit sometime soon. There's a great pizza place in town I want to take you to.Your son,Michael篇4Dear Mom and Dad,Hi! How are you guys doing back home? I miss you both so much! College has been really fun so far but also pretty hard too.I'm trying my best to work hard in my classes but there's just so much to do all the time. Let me tell you all about it!My dorm room is pretty small but I like it. I have my very own tiny fridge that I keep stocked with snacks and drinks. My roommate Kenny is really cool. He's from California and he taught me how to surf over spring break! We went to the beach and everything. It was awesome but I got sunburned pretty bad. Oops!My classes are intense. I'm taking English, Math, History, Biology, and an intro to Philosophy class. Philosophy is my favorite because we get to talk about really deep stuff like what's real and not real. It blows my mind! My philosophy professor has a crazy long beard and he always wears sandals, even in the winter. He's funny.English class is probably the hardest. We have to read really old books from like 500 years ago. The language is so weird and hard to understand. I have to look up almost every other word in the dictionary. I'm not a big fan of reading those ancient books, they're no Harry Potter that's for sure! I much prefer writing essays and creative stories. My math class is pretty good. The professor is really smart but he has a super thick accent. Sometimes I have no idea whathe's saying! I have to rely a lot on the textbook to learn the material. It's just algebra and geometry stuff that isn't too bad. Although word problems are the worst, I always mix up the numbers and variables. Why do they have to phrase it so weirdly?!Then there's history class which can be kind of boring tbh. It's just a bunch of dates and dead people. Although I did think the unit on Ancient Rome was pretty cool, learning about the gladiators and Colosseum and stuff. That was awesome! My history professor sounds just like Ben Stein from Ferris Bueller, she's so monotone. I've fallen asleep in that class a few times no lie.Biology isn't too bad because we get to do experiments and look through microscopes and stuff. Although dissecting the frog was pretty gross and made me want to puke. There was blood and guts everywhere! The professor is really young and attractive though, all the guys have crushes on her. She has to tell people to pay attention a lot during lectures.Outside of class, I've joined a few clubs to keep busy. I'm in the Outdoor Adventure club where we go hiking, kayaking, that kind of thing. I fell into a freezing cold lake on one of the hikes which was not fun at all! We also have a Quidditch team that Ijoined which is cool. We use broomsticks and everything, although sadly we can't actually fly. It's just running around with broomsticks between our legs. Still fun though! The dining hall food is pretty meh, nothing too exciting. Although they do have a soft serve ice cream machine that rules!I probably eat way too much of that. I've gained like 10 pounds already this year from all the junk food and late night pizza. Oops...freshmen 15 is no joke!Speaking of late nights, I've been staying up way too late playing video games and watching Netflix instead of studying like I should. Time management is hard! There's just so much freedom and so many fun things to do. Although I do feel bad when I slack off too much and then bomb a test or something.Of course, I miss home a lot too. I miss Mom's delicious home cooked meals and hanging out watching movies with Dad.I even miss dumb things like doing chores and my annoying little sister (although don't tell her I said that). I've made some good friends here but it's not the same as my friends from back home that I've known forever, you know?Money has been a little tight with having to buy books, pay fees, and everything. Thanks so much for the weekly allowance you send me, it helps a lot! I've been trying to get a part-time jobbut it's been hard to find anything on campus. Keeping my fingers crossed for something to open up soon.Well I should probably get going and start studying for that big biology test tomorrow. I'll try to call again soon! Love you guys and I'll see you over Spring Break!Your son,Tommy篇5Dear Mom and Dad,How are you? I miss you both so much! College is really fun but also very different from home. There's so much I want to tell you about my life here.First of all, the campus is huge! It's like a whole different little town. There are lots of big buildings for classes, libraries, dining halls, and even stores and a movie theater. I live in one of the dorms which is kind of like a big apartment building just for students. My roommate Josh and I share a tiny room with two beds, two desks, and not much else. It's cramped but we make it work. The best part is I get to pick all my own classes! I'm taking some really interesting ones like astronomy where we get to look through telescopes at planets and stars. I also have a fun art class where we get to paint and sculpt. My favorite is probably my literature class where we read cool old books and poems. The classes are way harder than school at home though. We have lots of homework, papers to write, tests to study for, and the professors just lecture for hourssss.Speaking of professors, they're all really smart but kind of quirky and strange. Like my English professor always wears a bowtie and longfellowsuit coat like he's from the 1800s. And my chemistry professor has these crazy wild Einstein hairdo and coke bottle glasses. They're all nice enough but they definitely march to the beat of their own drum if you know what I mean! The dining halls are decent I guess, but definitely not as good as your home cooking. It's all buffet style and you can eat as much as you want which is cool. But the food itself is just okay, nothing too special or tasty. I miss your meatloaf and mashed potatoes already!I've made lots of new friends here which has been really fun. There are kids from all over the country and even some international students from other countries. My roommate Joshis from California and he's really laid back and loves to surf and skateboard. Then there's Emily who is from Montana and she loves horses and rodeos. Abdul is an exchange student from Saudi Arabia and he's taught me some Arabic phrases. Having friends from such different backgrounds has been an awesome experience.College isn't all fun though. It's a lot of work too! I spend so much time in classes, studying in the library, writing papers, and doing problem sets. I feel like I'm always rushing from one thing to the next without much free time. And the papers and essays we have to write are no joke - I'm talking 10, 15, even 20 pages sometimes! My brain hurts just thinking about it.But I'm working hard and trying my best. I joined a study group for my toughest classes and we all help each other out. The librarians have also been really helpful for research and just getting work done. I've learned so much already, not just from my classes but from being on my own and being independent for the first time. It's a huge growing experience. There's so much more I could say but I'm running out of room. College has its challenges for sure but I'm having the time of my life. I feel like I'm finally getting a taste of the real world. Don't worry, I'll be home for summer soon! I can't wait to sleep inmy own bed and have you cook for me again. Give my love to everyone.Love,Your College Student。

I've only been at university for a few weeks but it already feels like home.My dorm room is pretty small but I like it. My roommate Jake is really nice and we get along great. He's from a small town a few hours away. We have bunk beds which is fun, although sometimes I bang my head on the ceiling when I sit up too fast on the top bunk! The room came with two desks and dressers and we brought our own stuff like bedding, lamps, and decorations to make it feel cozy.I've already made a bunch of new friends on my floor. There's a big lounge area where we all hang out and play video games or watch movies together. Some nights we have study groups in the lounge too which is really helpful. I feel so lucky that everyone is really friendly and welcoming. I was a bitnervous about making friends before I got here but it's been really easy so far.My classes are going well so far, although some of them are pretty challenging. I'm taking chemistry, calculus, a writing seminar, and an intro to psychology course this semester. Chem and calc are pretty tough - I have so much homework every night! But I find the psychology class really fascinating. We're learning all about how the human mind works. There's also so much fun stuff to do on campus when I'm not studying. Last weekend a bunch of us went to the grand opening of the new student center. They have a climbing wall, a movie theater, a big gym, and loads of other cool amenities. I tried the climbing wall and made it almost all the way to the top before getting scared! There's also all sorts of clubs and activities you can join. I'm thinking about checking out the outdoor adventure club that goes hiking and camping. The dining halls are incredible too - you'd love the food here, Mom! There's everything from pizza and burgers to stir fry, sushi, and all sorts of cuisines from around the world. I've been trying to get plenty of fruits and veggies but it's hard to resist things like the make-your-own sundae bar or the cookie station. I might end up with a freshman 15 after all!So far college has been awesome but I do miss home sometimes. I can't wait for you both to come visit for Family Weekend in a couple months! You'll get to see my dorm, meet my friends, and check out the campus. I'm so glad I decided to go to this university - it was the best choice for me.Well, I should probably get going and start my calc homework for tomorrow. I'll write again soon! I love and miss you both!Love,[Your name]篇2Dear Mom and Dad,I know I'm still just a kid, but I've been thinking a lot about my future lately. Especially about going to college one day! I see how hard you both work to give me every opportunity. I appreciate all the sacrifices you've made for me more than you'll ever know.I was talking to my teacher Mrs. Johnson about colleges the other day. She went to a place called Stanford University in California. It sounds like a really cool school! The campus hasbeautiful old buildings covered in ivy and trees everywhere. Can you imagine how much fun it would be to climb those trees between classes?Mrs. Johnson said Stanford is one of the best universities in the whole country. The classes are super hard, but the professors are all experts who love teaching. And you get to pick your own schedule and subjects based on what you're interested in learning! How awesome would it be to take classes on spaceships, dinosaurs, and candy making all in the same semester? Sign me up!I promised Mrs. Johnson I'd start working towards that goal right now in elementary school. First up, I need to become a master at taking notes and studying hard for tests. I've already started using my favorite colored pens and highlighters to make my notebooks more organized and fun to review. Using a planner to keep track of homework and activities is next on my to-do list.Joining clubs and sports teams will also be key. I've got my eye on student council, math club, band, and trying out for the soccer team next year. Mrs. Johnson said colleges love to see students who are well-rounded leaders that can manage lots ofcommitments. I'll have to learn some serious time management skills, but it will be worth it!Volunteering in the community is another must. I'm thinking of walking dogs at the animal shelter on weekends, visiting retirement homes, and doing beach/park clean ups. It feels good to help others, and it will allow me to explore different interests too. Who knows, maybe I'll discover a passion for marine biology or geriatric care! Then there's the dreaded application essay. Don't worry, I've got years before I'll need to write that. But I'm going to start keeping a journal now to get lots of practice expressing my thoughts. Maybe you could even give me feedback sometimes? You've always been great at proofreading my book reports and such.I know you're probably thinking "Woah, slow down kiddo! You're getting way too ahead of yourself here." And you're right, I'm getting a little carried away fantasizing about the future. But I can't help it - the idea of going to an incredible college gets me so excited and motivated! I see how much joy your own college experiences brought you both. I want that same sense of adventure, discovery, and lifelong learning for myself.Elite universities aren't the only path to success either. I know you'd be just as proud if I attended an excellent state school, trade school, or took a non-traditional route, as long as I'm following my passions wholeheartedly. The most important thing is that I do what feels right for me and gives me opportunities to keep learning and growing.Speaking of growing, I guess I'd better stop daydreaming so much and focus on being a kid for now! Thank you for always believing in me and nurturing my curiosities. Your unconditional love and support gives me confidence I can achieve any dream, no matter how lofty. I promise to keep working hard every single day to make you proud.I can't wait to go on more college tours and campus visits asa family. Seeing the world beyond our little town opens my eyes to the vast array of possibilities awaiting me. Who knows, maybe I'll decide to blaze a completely new trail! An entrepreneur, an artist, a scientist curing diseases - I'll keep an open mind to any path that sparks my passion. For now though, I need to run outside and play. No sense in being cooped up on a beautiful spring day! Thanks for always listening to my rambles. I'll leave the worrying about academics, applications, and acceptances for another day. Today, I'm just a carefree kid with big dreams, and that's enough.Love you bunches,Your-All-Grown-Up-But-Not-Quite-Yet Kid篇3Dear Mom and Dad,I hope you're both doing really well back home! I'm writing to let you know all about my first few weeks here at university. It's been such an exciting adventure so far - I have so much to tell you!First of all, the campus here is absolutely massive! On the first day, I got lost trying to find my dorm room and ended up walking around in circles for about an hour with all my suitcases. Everything looks the same with all the big brick buildings. Finally, I had to ask for directions from a nice upperclassman student passing by. She showed me to my room in Patterson Hall.My roommate is really nice. His name is Jacob and he's from a small town not too far away. We've gotten along great so far! He helped me unpack and set up my side of the room. We'vealready become good friends. Sometimes in the evenings we play video games or watch movies together in the dorm lounge. The dining halls have so many different food options! They have everything from pizza and burgers to ethnic cuisine like Indian or Thai food. My favorite so far is the make-your-own stir fry station. You get a bowl and go down the line picking out your meats, veggies, sauces and other toppings. Then they cook it up fresh right in front of you. It's delicious!I've already joined a couple of clubs too. First, I joined the basketball intramural team. We have practice a few times a week and then play games against other dorms and campus clubs. I've also joined the coding club where we learn programming languages and work on small projects together. The club meetings are fun and it's a nice chance to practice my coding skills outside of class.Speaking of classes, they are going well so far! My favorite is the introduction to engineering course. The professor is really passionate about the subject and does a great job explaining complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way. We've learned about things like physics, mechanics, and materials science. I feel like I'm really getting a great foundation for more advanced engineering coursework in the future. Some of the classes are pretty challenging though. I'm taking calculus this semester and it has been pretty tough wrapping my head around some of the concepts like derivatives and integrals. I've had to go to the math tutorial center a few times to get extra help. The tutors there have been awesome at re-explaining things in different ways until it clicks. On the weekends, my friends and I have started exploring the local town a bit. Last weekend we walked around the downtown area and checked out some of the shops, restaurants and cafés. We stopped for coffee at this really cool indie café filled with cool art and funky decorations. I had a delicious caramel latte! Another day we went to the town's big park and went on a hiking trail through the forest area. The scenery was beautiful with the changing leaves and all.Overall, I'm having a total blast here at university so far! Don't get me wrong, it has been a big adjustment getting used to being on my own, handling my own schedule, and keeping up with challenging coursework. But I'm figuring it out day-by-day with the help of friends. I feel like I'm really growing and becoming more independent.I miss you both like crazy though! I can't wait to come home for Thanksgiving break in a couple of months. Only a few moreweeks until then! I'll be sure to give you both huge hugs as soon as I see you.Send my love to everyone back home! I'll write again soon.Love,[Your name]篇4Dear Mom and Dad,I hope this letter finds you well! I wanted to write to you about my big dream of going to university one day. I know it might seem like a long way off since I'm still just a kid in elementary school, but I've been thinking about it a lot lately. You always tell me how important education is and that I should study hard so I can have lots of opportunities when I grow up. Well, I've decided that I really want to go to university and get a degree! I'm not totally sure what I want to study yet, but I have some ideas. My friend Sarah's older brother is studying to become a doctor and he says it's really hard work but also super interesting. He gets to learn all about how the human body works and how to help people when they're sick or injured. That sounds amazingto me! Maybe I could become a pediatrician and work with kids. I love playing doctor with my stuffed animals.Or maybe I'll study something like engineering or architecture so I can design really cool buildings and bridges. I had so much fun when we made those popsicle stick bridges in science class.
1Dear Mom and Dad,How are you? I miss you both so much! College has been really fun but also really hard. I wanted to tell you all about it.I live in a dorm room with a roommate named Jessica. She's really nice and we get along great! Our room isn't very big though. We each have a tiny bed and a small desk and that's about it. We have to share one small closet too which can be tricky. The bathrooms are down the hallway and we have to share those with the whole floor! It's definitely a lot less private than home.My classes have been interesting but wow, they are hard! I'm taking English, Math, Science, and History just like in grade school but everything is so much more advanced. In English, we have to write huge papers analyzing classic novels. Last month I had to write 10 pages just on the symbolism in one chapter of The Great Gatsby! Can you believe that? Math is all about calculus now which is like algebra but a million times harder. Ispend hours and hours just working on one problem set. Science is pretty neat though. We get to do experiments in the lab and learn about things like quantum physics. History is my favorite because I find learning about ancient civilizations fascinating, but we have to write SO MUCH for that class too.On top of classes, I also joined some clubs. I'm in the Outdoor Adventure Club where we go hiking, rock climbing, and camping on the weekends. I absolutely love that! I met my best friend Amy there. I also joined an a cappella singing group which is really fun too. We practice dance moves and choreography and perform all around campus.Speaking of dancing, there are always events and activities happening on campus. Just last week there was a big concert on the main green with carnival rides, food trucks, and fireworks. Other times there are comedians, dance performances, movie screenings, and so much more. It's really easy to get involved if you want. The dining halls are decent I guess. The food isn't as good as your home cooking, but they have lots of options like pasta, pizza, burgers, salads, and ethnic cuisine stations which is cool. I do miss your lasagna and chocolate chip cookies though!Hopefully you can send some baked goods in a care package soon.Making friends hasn't been too difficult either. My roommate Jessica and I hang out a lot in our dorm lounge watching Netflix. I've also gotten close with some girls on my hall by studying together in the library. And like I mentioned, Amy from the Outdoors Club is now my best bud. We go on hikes every weekend! The town around campus is really nice too. There are cool shops, cafes, restaurants, and parks all within walking distance. My favorite spot is this quirky coffee shop called The Roasted Scholar where I'll go work on papers or just relax between classes. The student center on campus has food courts, a bowling alley, movie theater, and a huge gym too.I have to admit though, as fun as everything is, college is very hard work! I'm staying up late almost every night either writing papers, studying for exams, or working on group projects.I have way less free time than in high school. But it's all worth it because I'm learning so much about the world and figuring out what I'm truly passionate about.I think I want to major in Environmental Studies and maybe minor in Music too. I care so deeply about protecting nature andbeing outdoors. But I also love singing and performing with my a cappella group. Whatever I end up doing though, I know this experience is preparing me for my future career.Well, I should get going now. I have a Biology test tomorrow I need to study for. I miss you both tremendously and can't wait to see you over Spring Break next month! I'll be sure to bring lots of my dorm room laundry for you to do too. Haha just kidding...or am I? ;)Love youYour favorite child,[Your Name]篇2Dear Mom and Dad,How are you doing? I'm having so much fun at university! There are so many new and exciting things happening. Let me tell you all about it.First of all, my classes are really interesting but also pretty hard. I'm taking a lot of different subjects like math, science, English literature, and history. My favorite is probably English literature because we get to read awesome books and stories. But math is super tricky - there's a lot of tough equations and formulas to memorize. I have to study really hard for all my exams. The professors here are really smart and they know so much about their subjects. Sometimes I get a little lost when they are lecturing because they use a lot of big vocabulary words. But they are always happy to answer questions if I'm feeling confused. I try to sit near the front of the classroom so I can hear them properly. My schedule is pretty packed with classes, studying, and activities. I wake up around 7am every morning to get ready for my 9am class. Then I have classes until around 3pm with just a break for lunch. In the evenings, I have to hit the books and study or work on assignments and papers. It's a lot of work but I'm trying my best! The campus here is huge! There are tons of buildings, gardens, sports fields, and facilities. My favorite place is probably the library because it has every book you can imagine. I love going up to the quiet floors and finding a cozy spot to read and work on my assignments. They also have computers, printers, and study rooms if you need them.Another really cool part of university is getting to live in the dorms. I share a room with another student named Jessica. She's really nice and we've become good friends. Our room isn't too big but it's just enough space for our beds, desks, and things. We have to be mindful of each other's space and keep it clean and tidy. The dorms also have common areas, lounges, laundry rooms, and dining halls. The food is okay, but I do miss your delicious home-cooked meals sometimes! On the weekends, there's always something fun happening on campus. There are events, activities, sports games, and performances to check out. My friends and I love going to the football games and cheering on our school's team. We also hang out at the student center which has places to eat, play pool or video games, and just relax. Sometimes we go into town to explore the city, try new restaurants, or go shopping.I've met so many nice people here from all over. My friends come from different cities, states, and even countries! It's really cool learning about their cultures, traditions, and backgrounds. Everyone has been super friendly and welcoming. I've joined some clubs related to my interests like the writing club, outdoors club, and volunteering club. It's a great way to pursue my hobbies while making new friends.Overall, university has been an amazing experience so far! Of course, I do miss home and you guys a lot. But I'm learning so much, growing as a person, and having the time of my life. I can't wait to come home and tell you even more stories. I'll be back for spring break in a few weeks!Love,Your Student篇3Dear Mom and Dad,Hi! It's me, your kiddo away at university. I'm having such an awesome time here and I can't wait to tell you all about it. College is so different from home but in a really good way!My classes are super fun and interesting. I'm taking lots of different subjects like math, science, English, and even a cool class on dinosaurs! The professors here are really smart and they make learning feel like an adventure. Sometimes the material is pretty hard but they are patient and will re-explain things until I understand. I've already made some new friends in my classes too by working on group projects together.Speaking of friends, I've met so many nice people on campus. Everyone is from all over the place with different backgrounds and interests. It's amazing! My roommate Nicholas is from Canada and he's really into video games and ice hockey. Then there's Jasmine who is an incredible artist from California. We all eat meals together in the huge dining hall and I've tried so many new foods I had never even heard of before. The dorms are decent, about what I expected. My room is on the smaller side but Nicholas and I make it work by being tidy. We both made sure to bring our favorite things from home to make it feel cozy. I've got my big fuzzy blanket from you, Mom, and those cool Star Wars posters from you, Dad. The building has common areas, study lounges, even a game room with ping pong and video games! It's been a blast getting to know people who live on my floor.Campus itself is beautiful, like a tiny city! There are libraries, computer labs, theaters for shows and concerts, workout facilities, and even an Olympic-sized swimming pool. I can walk or take a shuttle pretty much anywhere I need to go. The best part is the student center with a food court, bookstore, and all kinds of clubs and activities to join. I'm thinking about checking out the hiking club or maybe trying my hand at juggling.I'll be honest, keeping up with all the work can be challenging at times. Papers, projects, studying for tests - it really piles up! That's why I've been working hard on my time management skills. I set aside blocks each day for attending classes, doing homework, eating nutritious meals, and getting enough sleep. It's about finding that balance, you know? If I ever feel overwhelmed, there are tons of resources like tutors, counselors, and advisors to help.Overall, university has been an unbelievable growing experience so far. I'm becoming more independent and responsible, while also getting a world-class education. I've already learned so much about different subjects, diverse cultures, and most importantly, myself. Don't worry, I'm surrounding myself with good people, developing strong skills, and still making time for fun and self-care. I can't wait until my first break so I can come home and tell you even more stories!Love you tons!Your college kid篇4Dear Mom and Dad,How are you? I'm writing to tell you all about my life at university! It's been super fun and exciting, but also a little bit hard sometimes. I miss you both a lot, but I'm trying my best to be a grown-up and take care of myself here.My dorm room is really cool! I have my own little space with a bed, a desk for studying, and a couple of shelves for my books and other things. My roommate's name is Jessica and she's really nice. We've become good friends already. We like to stay up late sometimes telling stories and giggling about silly things. Shhh, don't tell anyone! The dining hall has all kinds of yummy food, but I still miss your homemade meals, Mom. They have pizza, hamburgers, salads, and lots of other stuff. My favorite is the ice cream bar where you can get as many scoops as you want with all sorts of toppings! I try not to eat too much junk food though, I promise.I have so many classes and they're very different from school classes. My professors don't hold our hands as much, and we have to do a lot of reading and writing on our own. It's a bit harder to pay attention too because the lectures are much longer. I've already had to write a bunch of papers for English class! Who knew there was so much writing in university? My mathematics class is really tough. We're learning about things called derivatives and integrals. I don't understand a lot of it yet, but I'm going to study really hard. The math students here are like little math wizards! I feel a bit dumb compared to them sometimes, but I'm working as hard as I can to catch up.I joined the basketball club here too! We practice twice a week and play games against other dorms. Our team isn't very good yet, but it's just for fun anyway. I've already made some new friends on the team. We like to goof around a lot and joke during practice. Coach says we need to focus more!On the weekends, I usually hang out around campus with my friends. We'll go to the movies, play video games, or just explore the area and find new places to eat. There's a really nice park nearby where we sometimes have picnics or throw a frisbee around. I've also joined a study group that gets together on Sundays to work on our assignments for the week. This Saturday we're going on a trip to the city! I've never been to a big city before, so I'm really excited. We're going to see a musical and do some shopping and sightseeing. I'll take lots of pictures and videos to show you when I'm home for Christmas break. I can't wait to see you both again!Well, I think that's all the big news from me for now. Being away at university is hard sometimes, but I'm trying my best. Thank you for helping me and encouraging me to work hard. I love and miss you both so much! I'll write again soon.Love,Your Child篇5Dear Mom and Dad,How are you? I'm having such an amazing time at university! Everything is so big and exciting here. I want to tell you all about my life as a university student.First of all, the campus is HUGE! It's like a whole city just for students. There are lots of big buildings with classrooms, libraries, cafeterias, gyms, and even little stores and restaurants. I have to walk really far between my classes, but that's okay because the grounds are beautiful with lots of trees, gardens, and squirrels running around. It's like being in a park!My classes are really interesting but also very difficult. I'm taking subjects like chemistry, economics, philosophy, and literature. The professors are super smart and teach us reallycomplex ideas. Sometimes I get a little lost trying to understand everything, but I work really hard and study a lot. The libraries here have millions of books that I can use for research. I spend a lot of time in the library reading, writing papers, and studying for exams. Tests are very hard but I'm doing my best.Living in the dorms is fun! I share a tiny room with a roommate from France. Having a roommate is strange at first, but we've become great friends. We stay up late talking, watching movies, and eating snacks like chips and candy that my parents wouldn't let me eat at home. There's no one to tell us to go to bed! On weekends, we love to sleep in until noon. The dining halls have every kind of food you can imagine - pizza, burgers, pasta, stir-fries, you name it. They have desserts like cake, pie, ice cream, and cookies available all day long. I probably eat way too many sweets, but the food is so good and there's no one to stop me! I've definitely gained a few pounds since starting university. There's lots of fun stuff to do on campus besides studying. Every weekend there are parties, concerts, comedy shows, sports games, and other events happening. The student clubs throw festivals and activities throughout the year too. I joined the rockclimbing club and the environmental club. We go on hiking and camping trips together which is really cool.Making friends here is easy since everyone is new and looking to meet people. I've made lots of friends from all around the world with different backgrounds and cultures. We love sharing stories about our families and home countries. Some of my friends are really smart kids who got perfect grades in high school. I don't know how I got admitted here with such smart peers!Life without parents is an adjustment. I have to do my own laundry, clean my room, get myself out of bed for class, and manage my own time and money. No one is here to nag me about homework or chores. It's a lot of responsibility, but I'm becoming so independent and grown-up!I really miss you guys, your hugs, and mom's delicious home-cooked meals (the dining hall food doesn't compare). But I'm having the time of my life and becoming so mature. University is challenging but amazing. I'll be home for holidays soon and can tell you even more stories!Love,Your College Student。
1Dear Mom and Dad,I'm writing this letter to you from my dorm room at university! I still can't believe I'm actually here. It feels like just yesterday I was begging you to let me have a pet dinosaur. Now I'm all grown up and living on my own at college. Crazy, right? The first few days were pretty overwhelming if I'm being honest. There's so much to get used to - finding all my classes, meeting new people, learning where everything is on this huge campus. My roommate seemed nice at first but then I realized he actually sleeps hanging upside down from the ceiling like a bat! Just kidding, he's a regular human guy. Though I don't know much about him yet besides that his name is Mark and he's from a few towns over.My favorite class so far is probably astronomy. We get to look through these gigantic telescopes and study planets, stars, black holes, and stuff. The professor says I have a real talent for identifying constellations! Who knows, maybe I'll end up beingan astronaut when I grow up. Wouldn't that be cool? I'd be the first kid from our neighborhood to go to space. I can see it now - "Captain Sarah Johnson of the United Planets Starship Explorer." Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?On the other hand, I'm really struggling with my math class. It's called "Calculus I" which sounds incredibly fancy and difficult. Basically we have to solve all these crazy equations filled with numbers, letters, symbols...it's enough to make my head spin! The professor just drones on and on during lectures. I've been trying to follow along but a lot of it goes right over my head. Maybe you could help me study when I come home for holiday break? You were always better at that sort of thing than me.In my free time, I've been exploring the campus and the town. There's a beautiful creek that runs right behind the dorms and lots of squirrels and birds all over the place. It reminds me of that time we went camping in the mountains when I was little and I kept trying to chase after the chipmunks! Speaking of animals, they have a huge area on campus with horses, cows, pigs, and other farm animals for the agricultural studies students. I'm planning to go pet the baby calves this weekend. There's also the classic college experiences I've been having - staying up late eating pizza and candy with friends, going toparties (don't worry, I'm being responsible!), and cheering my lungs out at the football games. Our school's mascot is a ferocious looking tiger which is pretty awesome if you ask me. I bought a stuffed tiger and I'm going to have you sign his paw when you visit!Oh and you'll never guess who I ran into the other day - Mrs. Anderson, my 2nd grade teacher! She's a professor here now teaching education classes. She still recognizes me and everything. I stopped to chat with her for a bit and she told me I've really grown into a mature, smart young woman. Can you believe that? Little me, a mature young woman! It's weird to think how much time has passed since I was a kid in her class.I have to admit, as great as it's been, I do get homesick sometimes. The other night I got really sad missing you, Dad's awful puns, Mom's home-cooked meals, fighting with my annoying little brother (please give him a noogie for me). But then I remembered that coming to university and being on my own is an incredible opportunity. I'm getting an education, meeting new people, experiencing the world in a way I never could back home. As happy as I am though, I can't wait for you both to come visit soon!I should probably get going for now. I have a ton of reading to do before class tomorrow (boooring). But I'm going to try and write once a week to keep you updated on what's happening here. Mom, Dad, thank you for everything. For always believing in me, encouraging me to follow my dreams, and most importantly - feeding me all those vegetables when I was little so I could grow up big and strong! I miss you and love you more than words can say.Your daughter,Sarah篇2Dear Mom and Dad,I miss you so much! University is very different from home. Everything is so big and there are so many people around. I get lost sometimes trying to find my classrooms. The buildings are like castles and the hallways are like mazes. But I'm making lots of new friends which is fun.My roommate's name is Jamie. They are really nice andwe've become best friends already. Jamie's from a small town kind of like ours but further away. We stay up late talking andlaughing and Jamie showed me how to make microwave popcorn in our little microwave in our room. The popcorn bags make such a racket when they start popping! It makes us jump every time but then we just laugh. The dining halls are crazy! There's so much food to choose from. They have everything - pizza, burgers, salads, pasta, you name it. But a lot of it is kind of weird and fancy compared to what we eat at home. I tried this thing called "quiche" the other day and it was basically just an egg pie. Strange but not bad! I still miss your cooking though. Nothing beats your meatloaf and mashed potatoes. My classes are really interesting so far. My favorite is English Literature where we get to read all these old books and poems and discuss them. I had my first paper due last week and I wasn't sure I did a good job, but I got a B+ on it! The professor wrote "great insights" at the top which made me proud. Those late nights in the library studying paid off.Speaking of the library, it's like a city of books in there! Endless floors and rooms filled with more books than I've ever seen. You two would love it. I got lost in there for almost an hour my first time until a nice student working there helped me find the exit. I'll have to get one of those maps they give out. There are so many clubs and activities to join too. Jamie and I are thinking of joining the hiking club since we both love the outdoors. Or maybe the gaming club? So many choices! They also have a zillion sports teams and I was thinking of trying out for the soccer team since I played in high school. We'll see if I have time with all my studying.I do miss home a lot though. The town here is pretty cool with loads of fun shops and cafes and a huge park right nearby which is nice. But it's not the same as our neighborhood and being able to walk down to Mr. Steven's farm and see the cows and horses. Or going to the diner after school and getting a milkshake with Jake and Emily. I miss those things.Don't worry, I'm eating fairly well (when I'm not getting pizza or burgers at least). The dining halls have good salad bars and vegetable options. Although I did get a horrible stomach ache after eating way too many packets of spicy ramen noodles when I was cramming for an exam last week. Note to self: eat more than just ramen when studying late!I can't wait for you both to come visit soon. You'll have to see my tiny dorm room and meet Jamie. We can go explore the town and eat at one of the fun restaurants instead of me just eating dining hall food. I'll show you all the sights!Well, I have class in an hour so I should get going. But I wanted to let you know I'm doing well and that I love and miss you! Thanks for all your support in helping me get here. I'll make sure to FaceTime you soon so you can see your son/daughter taking on the world of higher education!Love,[Your Name]篇3Dear Mom and Dad,I am writing this letter to tell you all about my first few weeks at university! I was really nervous to start, but it has been so much fun and I am learning so many new things. My dorm room is really cool. I have my own little space with a tiny kitchen and bathroom. My roommate Sam is really nice too. He is from the city and has crazy hair that sticks up all over the place. Sam has shown me around campus and introduced me to lots of his friends. Everyone is super friendly! The dining hall has the most amazing food. There are stations with all kinds of different foods - Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and so much more. My favorite is the dessert stationwith a huge chocolate fountain, cookies, cakes, and ice cream! I may have gone a little overboard with the sweets the first week. Luckily there is also a big salad bar to balance it out.My classes have been really interesting so far. I'm taking introduction courses in English, math, science, and history. English is my favorite because the professor is really funny and we get to read cool stories. Math is pretty hard though - we're already learning algebra and geometry which is way more advanced than anything I did in high school. I might need to get a tutor to help me out.In science, we just finished a whole unit on the solar system which was awesome. Did you know that the sun is actually a star? And that there are billions of other galaxies beyond our own Milky Way galaxy? My mind was blown learning about black holes, nebulas, and how massive the universe truly is. For our final project, we had to build a model of the solar system showing the planets orbiting the sun. Sam and I worked together and I think ours turned out pretty great!History is ok, but a lot of memorizing dates and names of old dead people. Not quite as exciting as learning about outer space! We did get to go on a field trip to the university's museum though which had some cool old artifacts and mummies.Outside of class, there is so much to do on campus. Every Wednesday, there is a street fair with food trucks, live music, and student clubs recruiting new members. I joined the Outdoor Adventure Club which organizes hiking and camping trips. They are taking a group whitewater rafting next month which sounds both terrifying and thrilling! There are also a ton of restaurants surrounding campus with so many different types of cuisine - Thai, Indian, Mediterranean, you name it. A group of us went to try Ethiopian food last week where you eat with your hands from a giant bread plate. It was delicious but I definitely made a mess!Sports are huge here too. The football team is ranked in the Top 25 and the games have been wild. Everybody wears the school colors and chants cheers and dances when we score. I even rushed the field after we won the big rivalry game against our biggest rival school. It was complete pandemonium but so epic!I also tried out for the club soccer team and made it! Our first game is next weekend against a team from the nearby city university. I'm a little nervous but mainly just pumped to be playing my favorite sport at such a high level.Make sure to come visit soon so you can see everything! There are special weekends for parents and families to come tour the campus, stay in the hotels, and catch an athletic event or theater performance. I miss you guys like crazy but I am having the time of my life out here. Can't wait for you to experience it too!Love,Your Son/Daughter篇4Dear Mom and Dad,I miss you both so much! University is really big and there are so many people here. Sometimes I get a little bit scared because everything seems so grown-up. But I'm trying my best to be brave like you always told me.My dorm room is tiny but I like it. My roommate Jimmy is nice, even though he snores really loudly sometimes. I have a little desk where I do my homework and the bed is sort of like a bunk bed! I put my stuffed bunny Mr. Fluffkins on the top bunk to keep him safe. The cafeteria is humongous! There are so many different food choices. They have pizza and burgers and Chinese food and everything! I've been trying to eat my veggies like you always made me, but sometimes the french fries are hard to resist. I promise I'm still brushing my teeth twice a day though! My classes are really hard. I thought things would be easier than back in elementary school, but I was wrong. We have to do tons of reading and write long papers and there are so many big words to learn. My English professor says I'm a "gifted writer" though, so at least that's going well! I got a C+ on my first paper which I was pretty proud of.I've made some new friends here which is nice. There's Amy who lives just down the hall from me. She's really smart and crazy about science just like me. Then there's Michael who is always cracking jokes and making me laugh even when I'm feeling homesick. Michael, Amy and I have studied together a few times in the library. Or at least we've tried to study but Michael makes it hard when he's being so silly!Speaking of being silly, you'll never believe what happened last week! I accidentally slept through my morning alarm and was almost late for my 9am statistics class. I jumped out of bed so fast that I forgot to put on pants over my underwear! I ran allthe way across campus in just my tighty whities before I finally realized. My face turned so red! I definitely won't be making that mistake again.I'm trying to get involved and make the most of my time here too. I joined the Chemistry Club since science is my favorite. We've only had one meeting so far but I think it's going to be really fun. I also signed up to participate in an Intramural bowling league! Bowling was always my best sport during the yearlyfields days back in elementary school, so I'm really looking forward to that.Oh, I almost forgot the best news! They have an ice cream shop right here on campus that sells ice cream cones for just 1 each! You know how much I love ice cream. I've already gone three times so far. My favorite is the chocolate peanut butter swirl. I have to be careful though or else I'll get a belly ache from eating too much.I really do miss home a lot though. I miss playing catch in the backyard and the way Dad used to read me bedtime stories. I miss watching movies with you guys and baking cookies together. Most of all, I miss your hugs and snuggles. No one here gives the same cozy hugs that you do. I tear up a little just thinking about it!But don't worry, I'm not too homesick to where I want to come home yet. I'm having a wonderful time and learning so much already. I just miss my mom and dad is all. I promise to keep working hard and making you proud. Maybe you can come visit me soon? I'll give you the best biggest hug ever!I better get going for now. I have piles of homework to catch up on this weekend. Thank you for everything and I love you bunches!Your son,[Your name]P.S. Please give my dog Buster a big kiss on the head for me!I miss his slobbery kisses.篇5Dear Mom and Dad,Hey! It's me, your kid who just started university. I'm writing to tell you all about my first few weeks here. It's been really exciting but also kind of crazy! I'll try my best to explain everything.First of all, moving into my dorm room was pretty wild. I've never had my own space like this before. No little brothers orsisters to bother me! My roommate seems really nice too. His name is Jake and he's from a few towns over. We've been getting along great so far. Phew! The dining halls are humongous! I've never seen so much food in my life. They have everything - pizza, burgers, salads, ethnic food sections, desserts, you name it. The dessert section is my favorite part for sure. I may or may not have eaten a few too many chocolate chip cookies already...sorry! I'll try to eat some vegetables too, I promise. My classes are really interesting but also pretty tough. I'm taking introduction to psychology, English composition, calculus, and a general science course. Psychology is probably my favorite so far. We're learning all about how the human mind works, which is fascinating stuff. The reading can be dense at times though.English comp is all about writing essays and analyzing literature and stuff. Not gonna lie, I'm a bit nervous about having to write longer papers. Poetry is kind of confusing too - what does it all mean?! I'll just have to try my best.Calculus is...scary. All those numbers, symbols, and equations make my brain hurt. I don't know how I'll survive a whole semester of that! The science class covers a little bit ofeverything - biology, chemistry, physics. At least the labs seem fun and hands-on.Outside of class, I've been getting involved in some clubs and activities. I joined the outdoor adventure club since I love hiking, camping, and being in nature. We're planning some cool trips already! There's also aNintendo club that gets together to play Switch games and do tournaments. Mario Kart, here I come! The student center has a huge gym with a pool, basketball courts, workout rooms and more. I've been trying to exercise a few times a week, especially since the dining hall food is so tempting. Fitting in self-care is important! On the weekends, my new friends and I have been exploring the town surrounding campus. There are lots of fun restaurants, shops, parks and hangout spots. A few friends from my high school also go here, so it's been nice reuniting with familiar faces too.Greek life is huge on this campus, but I'm not sure if joining a fraternity is for me or not. From what I've heard, it's a big time commitment and there's a lot of partying involved. I'll have to weigh the pros and cons carefully.Overall, college has been an amazing whirlwind so far! I'm learning so much, both in and out of the classroom. Things can get stressful at times, but I'm trying my best to stay on top of it all. Having a support system of new friends has been huge.I miss home a lot though. I miss our family dinners, movie nights, and just hanging out together. Facetiming you both isn't quite the same! I can't wait to come home for breaks and fill you in on everything in person. Thanks for supporting me and encouraging me to follow my dreams, even when it means leaving the nest. I'll be back for a visit before you know it! Until then, I'll keep working hard.Love you tons,Your kid篇6Dear Mommy and Daddy,I miss you both so much! University is really fun but also really hard. I wish you were here with me. Everything is so big and there are so many people. I get lost trying to find my classes sometimes. My dorm room is tiny but I like having my own space. My roommate Charlie is nice. He's from another city and talks a little funny. He has a big fuzzy blanket that reminds me of Mr. Snuggles, my teddy bear I had to leave at home. I sleep with it sometimes when I'm feeling sad and missing you. Don't tell Charlie though, he might think I'm a baby! The dining hall is humongous! There's foods from all over the world. I tried some weird green gloopy stuff the other day that made my tongue feel like it was on fire. I stuck to chicken nuggets after that. The nice lunch ladies give me extra chocolate milk if I smile really big.My classes are super hard. I don't understand half of what the professors say. It's like they're speaking a different language!I have to read hundreds of pages from massive books every week. My backpack is so heavy, I'm scared I'll get curved spine like the hunchback of Notre Dame.I joined the basketball club to make friends. At first, the big muscly players scared me. But then I showed them my giant slam dunk and they thought I was cool! We get pizza after practice sometimes. I have to be careful not to get any grease stains on my jersey though, or the coaches make me do push-ups.Last weekend, there was a huge party on campus. Everybody was drinking from red plastic cups. I thought it was fruit punch but it tasted really weird and made my head feel funny. Some girls invited me to dance but I was too dizzy. I just sat in the corner and watched the flashing lights instead. I won't drink that weird juice again!I went to the campus clinic because I felt really sick the next day. The doctor said I was hungover! I thought you could only get hungover from hanging upside down on the monkey bars too long. He gave me some nasty green smoothie to drink and told me to get more sleep. Grown-ups are so weird sometimes.Anyway, I'm trying my best but everything is so different and confusing here. I miss coming home from school to your warm hugs and chocolate chip cookies. I miss watching movies together on the couch and you braiding my hair. I miss playing outside and collecting rocks and leaves. University is fun but I can't wait to come home for holidays.I love you soooooooooooooooooo much!Your baby,[Your name]P.S. Please send more snacks! The dining hall ones are never as good as yours. And candy, LOTS of candy!。

Rain and rain, please give my parents love to their hearts!I wishA healthy bodyAll the best大学英语写给父母的一封信篇8Dear parentsHow do you do!Thank you for giving me life and making it rich and beautiful. From the moment I was born, I came to this world, and you are like a guardian, protecting me, loving me, and fearing that I might be hurt by a little. Under your care, I grew up little by little, and became a healthy, energetic boy. And behind my growth, is your hard work and sweat. I sometimes get angry with you because of little things, and I even think youre nagging. When I sometimesleave you and live independently for a few days, I feel lonely and afraid, and I want to come back to you.It was then that I really understood that you were so important that I felt a little bit of a blessing in disguise. For this family, for me, you pay is too much, dad every day from dawn, traveling for business, in order to earn more money, almost every New Years day is a holiday to work overtime. Mom, remember you told me that our family had not been in a good economic condition before I was born, so my father had to leave early every day, and drive a taxi to buy milk powder for me. You also gave up your job to take care of me at home... You have also said that in your mind, I will always be a small child, and always let you worry that I am not born, you are worried that I can be born safely; After I was born, you were worried about whether I could grow up. Grew up worried about whether I could read good books; After graduating from college, I wonder if I can get a good job... Your love for me, no matter what you use, will not return, I know now just good study, future has interest, will be the biggest reward for you.I hope my life time, bring you infinite happiness. 9Mom, Ill write you a letter on Thanksgiving Day to tell you how I feel about you. I dont know when.I appreciate your kindness to me. Without you, how can I feel the beauty of the world, how can I feel happiness and sorrow? From small to big, I am healthy and healthy growing up in your care. Every day when I come home from school, I can eat the delicious food you make and feel the warmth of the home, even though I was very picky then. Now, however, you are all out on the road, and I alone face the cold walls every day, and the emptyhouses and the warmth of home. I was fussy about the food I didnt like. When you are young, you will tell me stories in your sleep and tell me the philosophy, such as "cao chong," "the elephant," and so on. Im not tired of it, and Ill ask some ridiculous questions, even though I dont understand it. Since primary school, I am the problem student in the teachers eyes, you are often called to the school to listen to the teacher to reflect my situation. Every time you have a parent meeting, you are reluctant to listen to the teachers reflection on my problem. At that time, honestly, you were not very good at my education way, and would just blindly beat me with a stick. On the contrary, I often break my heart, and now I think I was so unsensible. You told me that when you were young, education was wrong, and I had only a deep regret. Its all about people. You and father in society struggle for many years and it is not easily say heart I hear already, you will also often said to me when you are young dont understand, that this home away many crooked road, let me dont repeat in the future. I think my mind is more mature among my peers, and every time I talk to you, you tell me not to argue with people and take a step back from the sky. We should study hard at school, or the teacher should call us again. Today, however. I can proudly say to you: mom, your son grew up, is no longer that three days two head get you into trouble is not sensible child, you also need not always about me, I what all understand, I will take good care of myself. I dont want to pursue anything now, I hope you can be safe in your hometown, not too hard. There is still a long way to go. Take care of yourself.Remember, there is a sensible son who is thinking of you. In your eyes, I am always the little girl who will never grow up”. This is my favorite song and also the sound from the bottom of my heart. You made me feel so lucky to be your child. But I find our hearts getting further apart as time goes by.You strictly forbid me to do entertaining activities even if I finished my homework, such as watching TV or playing computer games. Based on this, I couldn’t get any grade less than A. It is said that genius only means hard-working all one’s life. But I think combining exertion is the best way for learning. The most important thing to me was that I feel frustrated for having few friends to confide in due to your strict rules. I can’t have a play date, participate in a school play or even choose my own extracurricular activities. Who will accept such a boring and troublesome person? I am just an ordinary girl who can’t stand loneliness, so I always feel contradictory. On the one hand, I’m grateful to have you in my life, to disappoint you was the least I would do. On the other hand, what you asked for me made me felt like a puppet rather than a real person. I appreciated your efforts to pull me away from a self-indulgent life, but your obsessively extravagant strictness has pushed me into an isolated and insensible one. I need a little freedom so that I will concentrate on something I really interested in.Father and mother, these words were hid in my deep heart for a long time. I love you, and I believe if you change some harsh rules. I will have a wonderful life.Best wishes. Dear dad and mum,I have been very happy in the school。

When I would cry, you would always be there to try to cheer me up. That’s what I call a good, loving, caring dad. Dear Family,You must be greatly surprised when you get this letter, not from anyone else but from your dearest son, since I have never written a letter for ages in such a traditional way. The purpose of my writing is not so much to express my gratitude for bringing me up, as it is to tell you something about my college life.It has been more than two years since I started my collegelife and I have adapted myself to the new environment here, even though at the very beginning, I was not quite used to it. My classmates are pretty friendly and they offer to help me whenever need be, which is really precious for me. My teachers tell me the differences between college life and high school life and give me some necessary advice on how to learn in college. Because of their kind-hearted help, I learn to know the importance of cooperation and communications between each other, especially when in Group work.In the past several months, I have been busy preparing for TEM 4.Therefore, most of the time, I stayed at school and seldom kept in touch with you; I should have been ashamed of this. But now it is completely finished, and I will never do that again. In my spare time, I usually go to play basketball to keep fit since you always ask me to practice more to keep healthy. What is more, I like to go to the English Corner to practice my spoken English in order to improve my oral English level, which is of importance as English major. Finally, I would like to specially thank you for providing me the best education and experience. Without your support and understanding, it wouldn't be the same. In regard to the future, I will make every effort to study for my degree and make the dreams I had envisioned come true.Take good care of yourselves as you have asked me to.Best regards,Jay2016,5,3。
