Thank you.Let me start my lesson from unit one “How many people are there in your family? “ This is an oral reading class, which includes three parts, materials anal ysis, teaching instruction design and teaching program.I. Material analysis1. This unit’s topic is based on family, while Tony and Lingling are talking about family members. During the dialogue, there are a few new words, like grandfather\grandmother\grandparents\uncle\aunt\sister\brother\many\have etc, and other difficult sentence patterns and sentences.2. This is a good way to learn English and key step at class. We can copy the standard pronunciation during listening.2. Explain difficulties in games. We would meet some words, expressions, sentences or grammar hard to explain at class, we can explain them in games so that students can accept them with fun, which makes a good foundation for learning English.3. Guide students to start situational dialogues . The teacher can talk to a group of students or any one student. Other students should be quiet when the teacher talks to the student. We should ask those students who learn better , and then others . Let every student have an opportunity to practice with the teacher, and inspire them; which can make the students feel they are important. Finally, let students talk to each other freely. The dialogue can be made according to the practical minds, no limitation from the text.4. Let students show independently. Ask some groups or some couples of students to show the dialogues after the demonstration between the teacher and the students.5. Teacher should set out some completions and one-choice questions to test students.Ⅲ.Speaking-learning Method1.Form a good habit of listening and copying the standard pronunciation. Listening to the tape and English songs help the students in learning English a lot.2. Store knowledge scientifically. Master a wide range of vocabulary and grammars, and express the communication contents based at dialogues. It is more impressive and flexible to learn in practice.3. Timely review and repeated in usage. The student should timely organize, refresh and use the key points which was taught at class and practice the learnt lessons repeatedly.4. Active practice, oral practice first. 通过听、读、说训练,初步学习询问对方家庭情况和介绍自己的家庭成员。
要求学生将适当的词汇和人物联系起来,注意利用图中所看到的有用信息,通过学习学生能够了解不同国家家庭结构的不同。
二、教学目标1、语言目标:many, people, aunt, grandfather, grandmother, grandparent, uncle, have got2、重点句式There is / are …have / has got …3、能力目标Introduce one’s family.4、教学方法:小组合作教学过程:StepⅠ Give students some school things such as books, pens, notebooks, ask students who get one, using have got.T: What have you got?S: I have got a blue pen.S: I have got an English book.Show the following.have / has got = have / hashave got 表示“某人有…”常用在英国英语中,美国朋友则常用 have 来表达这一意义。
如:I have got two pencils. / I have two pencils.应该注意的是在 have got中, have是助动词,没有实际意义,而美国英语中的have 则表达实际意义“有”。
两个have形同但意义不同。
Then ask students to go on practicing the question form of have / has got and the way of answering the questions.T: Has he got a green pen?S: No, he hasn’t.T: Has she got an English book?S: Yes, she has.Step II Divide students into groups of five or six. Play a little game to get the students familiar with the expressions of the family members. The group which can answer best will be the winner.T: Who is your father’s father?S: My grandfather.T: Who is your father’s brother?S: My uncle.T: My mother has got a sister, what should I call her?S: Aunt.T: Who are my mother’s parents?S: Grandparents.Write down the following and make sure that students know what they all mean. Then work in pairs to complete the labels,aunt, grandfather, grandmother, grandparent, uncle, brother, sister, father, mother …T: OK, class. Tony has got a big family. There are many people in his family. He has got grandparents, uncles, an aunt and a sister. Look, here is a photo of his family in the book. Do you know who they are? You can have a discussion and complete it.Call back the answers from some pair. Encourage students to use the known prepositional words or phrases: next to / in front of / behind, etc. Possible answers:The girl next to Tony is his sister.The women behind them are his aunt and his mother.The man next to his mother is his father.Then play the tape recording for students, let them check their answers.Step III In this part, students will listen to the tape recording twice and finish Activity 4 first. In the picture, the dragons and tigers won't roar.图画里,龙不吟虎不啸(小小书僮可笑可笑)。
注意:roar指人或动物在表达各种情感时发出低沉、嘶哑、拉长的叫喊声,含有“吼”“咆哮”“狂笑”的意味。
还可表示“轰鸣地驶过或飞过”。
roar用作及物动词时,接名词、代词、that从句作宾语,也可接“oneself+ adj. ”构成的复合宾语。
可用于被动结构。
用作不及物动词时,常跟副词down, out或介词at, with连用。
roar at后接表示人的名词时,意思是“对…大声喊叫”; 接表示物的名词时,作“因…大笑”解。
