主要的目标语言有Welcome to our school. We often borrow books from the library.本部分通过设置外宾来校，Li Yan和Gao Wei 作为引领客人参观的小向导，向客人介绍学校图书馆和会议室的场景，引出要学习的目标语言。
从对话的整体上让学生感知、模仿、学习和体验，再创设情景让学生能够运用目标语言，最终引导学生能够运用目标语言进行简单交际。
二、学生情况分析本课的授课对象是小学五年级学生，通过三四年级的英语学习，他们已经具备了一定的英语语言知识和听说读写技能。
绝大数学生对英语有一定的感知能力，在学习中敢于表达，乐于合作。
本节课目标语言中所涉及的词汇也都是较容易表达的，所以教学中重点是要创设情景，帮助学生理解并运用本节课的目标语言。
三、教学目标1. 能听懂、会说、认读本课对话。
2. 能正确、流利地朗读对话，并能够按照角色进行简单的对话表演。
3 .能按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话。
4. 能在恰当情境中运用目标语言完成简单的交际。
5. 能知道接待宾客的礼仪和礼貌用语，并能够用真实自然的语言向外宾介绍学校。
6. 能够通过同位活动或小组活动培养自主和合作学习的意识和行为。
四、教学重难点1. 能听懂、会说、认读本课对话；能正确、流利地朗读对话，并能够按照角色进行简单的对话表演。

[教学重点、难点]：1、重点是掌握How many ...lessons do you have? Do you often come to the library? 句型。
2、难点是运用语言知识创编情景对话并运用于实际生活中。

第二课时一、教学内容分析本节课是小学五年级下册第一单元Lesson5的教学内容。
本课内容在先前课根底上参加了music club等单词，其它知识新增不多。
学生不但要学会读新词还要学会运用。
会造句。
本课进一步强化了句型what do you usually do in....?I usually.....采用多样化的教学手段将听、说、玩、演溶于一体，调动学生的多种感官，激发学生学习英语的兴趣和愿望，使学生通过学习体验荣誉感和成就感从而树立自信心，开展自主学习的能力，形成初步用英语进行简单日常交际的能力。

〔二〕教学重难点Main and difficult point重点：能听说读写本课的句子：we often sing and dance here.we often paint and draw here.难点：能在情境中运用本课的句子进行模仿和创新。
三、学习者分析学生通过前几课的学习，根本上掌握了如何介绍活动教室，所以本课只需学会新单词即可能通读全文，介绍新的活动教室。
四、教学策略选择与设计1.本课的主题是用英语介绍活动教室。
充分为学生提供运用英语时机，培养了学生语言能力，增强了他们学习英语的信心。
2. 根据主题内容教师将本课代入比赛中，以比赛形式展示课文。
同时创造情景。
提高学生的听、说能力和用英语进行交际的能力。

二、学情分析:小学五年级学生已经具备了一定的英语语言的感知水平，在学习中敢于表达，乐于合作，并且五年级学生心理日渐成熟，对学校场所及其功能有了自己的认知，具有热情好客的心理特点。
在知识上，学生已经学习过Welcome to our school/class!This is...以及和一般疑问句Do you...？的肯定和否认回答。
三、教学目标:1、知识与技能：能够在相关语境中听、说、认读以下单词和短语：library、meeting room、welcome to...、show...around...、borrow books、have meetings，能够理解并在适当的语境中使用Welcome to our school!We often borrow books from the library.能够准确流利的朗读对话，并能结合生活实际按角色实行简单的对话交流。
2、过程与方法：通过听录音、跟读模仿等对话教学和小组活动，学生能够熟练地用英语介绍学校场所，并描绘在此处经常从事的活动，培养学生初步使用语言的水平以及自主和合作学习的意识与行为。
