Unit 4 When is Easter?第一课时教学内容：p39 A. Let’s learn、Ask and answer教学目标：知识与技能：1、能够听、说、读、写1~5序数词及其缩写形式。
2、能正确询问并回答生日、节日以及活动的具体时间。
过程与方法：能在课堂的活动中运用所学的语言进行交际。
情感与价值观：培养学生学习英语的兴趣，树立学生学习英语的信心教学重、难点：1、重点：听、说、读、写序数词和具体日期的表达。
2、难点：序数词的构词法及缩写形式。
教具准备：words cards、PPT教学过程：Step 1: warm-up1、Sing the song The twelve months.2、游戏——What’s missing?教师出示四季和月份卡片，并开素的隐去其中的一张卡片，让学生说出所缺的单词，并拼读此单词，又快又准确者获胜。
3、让学生一起背诵基数词1到30.4、学生一起背诵1到12月份的单词，并快速反应说出其所写形式。
Step 2: Presentation1、Let’s learn(1) 教师出示一张日历表，问学生：Do you know how many months there are in a year ? 学生回答：Twelve. 教师说：Yes, there are twelve months in a year . And we know January is the first month in a year. 让学生理解first的意思，教师板书，带读此单词，并拼写改词。
在first 旁边写上“1st.”.告诉学生这是first的缩写形式。
（2）同法教学“second”到“fifth” , 同时写出相应的基数词，让学生认真观察，自己归纳总结从基数词到序数词的形变规律。
A. 基数词变序数词的口诀：一、二、三、特殊变，八去t, 九去e, ve 用f来替换，最后再加th. 整十去y改ie,然后再加th.B、序数词的缩写形式序数词的缩写形式是：阿拉伯数字+序数词词尾的后两个字母1st,2nd,3rd.。
