语法重点:一般现在时态 (Simple Present tense)
难点突破:一般现在时态中第三人称时动词加“s”的用法
知识目标:通过操练、点评、专项练习等方式复习“一般现在时态”的时态结构。
复习步骤设计:
(一)词汇复习 Revision of the words and phrases, dictation of the main ones。(此环节也可根据中考词汇表顺序进行听写检查)
(二)对话操练 Dialogue Acting—ask Ss to act out some dialogues about What do you usually do on
Sundays/in the evening? (此环节也可以采取学生达标积分制进行,即复习阶段课前对话必须人人参与)
(三)语法复习: 一般现在时态:
(A) 概念:表示某人/某事物经常发生的动作、习惯、状态等。
(B) 时态信号:常与sometimes, often, usually, always, every day, in the morning, on Sunday 等词连用。
(C) 动词形式:用实义动词原形,第三人称时用动词加“s”形式,简称“三单动s”形式,“Be”动词用“am/ is/ are ”的形式。
(D) 情态动词后面直接加实义动词原形。
(E) 在某些动词后面须用动词原形进行搭配,如let sb do sth, You’d beterr do sth 等。
例解:
1、Now let me ____ your names, OK?
A. call B. to call C. calling D. calls
此题应选用“A”项。在 “Let sb.”后面的结构中应该用 动词原形结构,不可以用其它形式,所以B项、C项和D项都是错误的。

1. I don’t think twelve-year-olds should be allowed to get their ears
pierced. (P18)我认为不应该允许12岁的孩子穿耳孔。
(1)当主句的主语是第一人称I或we,谓语动词是think, believe, suppose,
guess等词时,其后的从句不能是含有not的否定句;若要否定,须将not提到主句。在翻译时,按汉语习惯译作否定从句。例如:“我想他不会给你打电话的”应译为I
don’t think he will give you a call而不是I think he won’t give you a call。
特别提示
若把此类句式变成反意疑问句,其助动词及主语要根据从句确定,而肯定/否定则要根据主句来确定。
We think you can help him, can’t you? 我们认为你能帮助他,不是吗?
I don’t think he is a good student, is he? 我认为他不是个好学生,对吗?
(2)本句中的twelve-year-olds相当于twelve-year-old teenagers,意为“12岁的孩子/年轻人”。
知识拓展
数词和一个相应的名词单数用“-”连接起来,可以构成一个合成形容词。常见的还有:
two-month holiday 两个月的假期
a sixty-pound stone 一块60磅的石头

【重点语法】
1. 动名词 在动词后加ing为动名词doing,相当于名词,在句子中可以做主语、宾语、表语、定语等。
(1)作主语(谓语为第三人称单数)
Memorizing the words of pop songs also helps a little.记流行歌曲的词也起作用。
Swimming is good for our health.
(2)作宾语 在动词(keep\practice\finish \enjoy\hate\be busy\mind) 后只用—ing 作宾语
Eg. We should keep speaking English in class.
He often practices singing in the morning.
I have finished reading the book.
Would you mind opening the door?
(3) 作表语 Babysister’s job is washing,cooking and taking care of the children.
(4) 作定语 I think that doing a lot of listening practice is one of the secrets……
2. 动词不定式及动名词在句中成分
(1)做定语—后置

(2)与所修饰的名词构成动宾关系
