课题1 金属材料
教学目标
了解金属的物理特征，能区分常见的金属和非金属，认识金属材料在生产、生活和社会发展中的重要作用；了解常见金属的特征及其应用，认识加入其他元素可以改良金属特性的重要性；知道生铁和钢等重要的合金。
通过比较学习，帮助学生形成获取信息和处理信息的能力，并构建出与金属材料相关联的知识体系。
通过资源共享，激励学生的合作参与意识；通过对金属物理性质与用途关系的学习，使学生体会到学习化学的价值。
重点和难点
重点：认识金属物理性质的相似性和差异性。
难点：如何合理开发金属物质的用途。
实验准备
教师：镁条、黄铜片、纯铜片、纯锡、硫磺等。
学生：易拉罐（铝镁合金）、带封口的娃哈哈塑料瓶、焊锡、铁锅碎片、不锈钢制品以及自主选择的其他材料。

创设情境
1912年，英国斯科特探险队的船只，在去南极的途中，因天气十分寒冷，可是用于取暖的煤油却漏光了，以致探险队员全部冻死在南极冰原。原来装煤油的铁桶是用锡焊接的，而锡却莫名其妙地化为了灰尘。1867年冬天，俄国彼得堡海军仓库的大批锡砖，一夜之间不翼而飞，留下了泥土一样的灰色粉末。 采撷短小、精致的历史故事，点燃学生的学习热情！
