一、教学目标
1. 掌握新单词:gift,paint,pour。
2. 能够正确朗读、理解和运用新单词。
3. 掌握新句型:What’s the matter? I have a headache./I’m sorry to
hear that. Here’s a gift for you. Let’s make a card for her. Pour the
paint carefully./OK,I’ll do it carefully。
4. 能够运用新句型与他人交流。

五、教学过程
1. Warm-up
1. Greetings.
2. Review the previous lesson.
2. Presentation
1. Introduce new words: gift,paint,pour,and ask students to repeat
after the teacher. 2. Teach new sentence patterns: “What’s the matter? I have a
headache.”,“I’m sorry to hear that. Here’s a gift for you.”,“Let’s make a card for her.”,“Pour the paint carefully.”,“OK,I’ll do it carefully.”,and ask students to repeat after the teacher.
3. Explain the meaning of the new words and sentence patterns with
pictures, examples, and motions.
3. Practice
1. Sentence pattern practice: Let a few students act out the
conversation in front of the class using the new sentence patterns.
2. Word recognition and application: Show pictures of the new words
and ask students to read and spell them individually and then use them
in a sentence.
4. Production
1. Using the new words,divide the students into groups and let them
design a card for their friend together.
2. After finishing the design, each group performs a play in which
they give the card to their friend and say “I’m sorry to hear that.
Here’s a gift for you.”
5. Summary and homework
1. Review the new words and the sentence patterns just learned.
2. Preview the next lesson.
3. Finish the homework: Design and make a card for your family and
friends, and use the sentence patterns in the conversation, each group
performs a play in which they give the card to their friend and say
“I’m sorry to hear that. Here’s a gift for you.”
