Step 1 Greetings

T:Good morning,everyone! What day is it today?

Whose turn is it to the speech today?

T: Great! Your oral English is very good. Next, let's translate some sentences.

1.我已经学英语三年了。

2.他从未去过上海。

Step 2 Leading in:(show a card→"Yard Sale"on it)

Today let's have a yard sale in our class.These are my old things at my home. This is a toy, a

toy bear, next is a bread, maker, a scarf.

(大屏幕显示图片学习生词,由教师频繁领读,让学生跟读)

Step 3 Practice

Section A 1c.

Practice in pairs, and make up a conversation like this and show it in class.

Step 4 Listening and checking the answers

Listen to 1b.

Play it three times and let the students check the answers.

Grasp some phrases:

Listen to 2a and 2b three times and check the answers. Grasp the following knowledge.

Step 5 Presentation Section A 2d.

First, listen to the tape and read sentence by sentence after the tape.

Second, let students read it together, then read it in pairs.

Finally, act it in pairs. Identify which group is the best.

Step 5 Summary

Ask students to sum up what we have learnt in this lesson.

Step 6 Homework

1.Recite and memorize the phrases and sentences on Page 74.

2.Make up a conversation.
