6.分流道:指介于主流道末端与浇口之间这一段塑料熔体的流动通道。
它是熔融塑料由主流道注入型腔的过度通道，能使塑料的流向得到平稳的转换。
7.冷料穴：指流道中的一些盲孔或盲槽，其作用是储藏注射间隔期间产生的冷料头，以防止冷料进入型腔且影响塑件质量，甚至堵塞浇口而影响注射成型。
8.流动比:是指熔体流程长度与流道厚度的比值。
9.吹胀比：吹胀比是指塑件最大直径与型坯之比，主要表示为塑件径向最大尺寸和挤出机机头中模尺寸之间的关系。
10.无流道浇注系统:特点是模具的主流道和分流道都很粗大，因此在整个注射过程中，靠近流道壁部的塑料容易散热而冷凝，形成冷硬层，它起着绝热作用，而流道中心部位的塑料仍保持熔融状态，从而使熔融塑料能通过它顺利地进入型腔，达到连续注射而无需取出流道凝料的要求。
11.热流道注射模:热流道注射模不受塑件盛开周期的限制，停机后也不需要打开流道板取出流道凝料，在开机后只需要接通电源重新加热流道达到所需温度即可。
12.侧向分型抽芯机构:当塑件上具有内外侧孔或内、外侧凹时，塑件不能直接从模具中脱出。
此时需将成型塑件侧孔或侧凹等的模具零件做成活动的，这种零件称为侧抽芯，当塑件脱模前先将侧型芯从塑件上抽出，然后再从模具中推出塑件。
完成侧型芯抽出和复位的机构就叫做侧向分型与抽芯机构。
13.抽芯距:是指侧型芯从成型位置推至不妨碍塑件推出时的位置所需的距离。
14.起始抽芯力:是将侧型芯从塑件中抽出时所需的最初瞬间的最大抽出力。
15.定距分型拉紧机构:模具中用来保证模具各个分型面按一定的顺序打开的机构叫做定距分型拉紧机构。
16.联合推出机构:实际生产中，有些塑件结构十分复杂，采用单一的推出机构容易损坏推坏塑件或者根本推不出来，这时就往往要采用两种以上的推出方式进行推出，这就是联合推出机构。
