Part One :Analysis of the Teaching Material
This lesson is selected from Unit 9of Go for it Grade Seven of People’s Education Press in English. The main content of this unit is to describe people’s looks. And this period is Section A from 1a to 1c. It not only includes some basic new words and expressions of this unit, but also has the basic tasks for students. In this class, the students will learn how to ask people’s looks and describe people’s looks. To show the key points, difficult points and reach the goals, I arrange some learning tasks about talking about appearance according to the topic of this unit.
(3) To develop the students’ abilities of communication by describing people’s appearance using the words and expressions above. 3. Moral aims: Respect and understand others . Don’t judge a person by their appearance!
